Although Ah Dai was in the midst of training, he, with his abilities reaching the sixth level of True Qi, had incredibly keen senses. Seeing the stone thrown by Sheng Xie, he remained calm and composed. Controlled by his fingers as if pulled by invisible strings, a flash of light glimred, and the mont the stone ca within five ters of Ah Dai, it turned into a pile of dust, disappearing under the mountain breeze.
Sheng Xie’s mouth gaped open, and his eyes blinked continuously as if he couldn’t believe what had just happened. The sight amply amused Ah Dai, causing a slight slack in his focus. Under the force of inertia, the Energy blade suddenly flew out of his hand. Startled, Ah Dai realized that was forty percent of his power! He quickly leaped into the air after the Energy blade. As he grew anxious, a stream of white silk-like aura flew out from his hand like lightning, catching up with the little blade, wrapping around the handle and forcefully pulling it back to him.
Having landed on the ground, Ah Dai looked at the energy silk in his hand and was surprised to find that it was also a form of Solid State Energy. However, the energy silk was very fine; the three-ter-long strand had only used about ten percent of his power. One end of the energy silk had rged into the handle of the Energy blade, and with it under control, the blade began to fly around, staying within ten ters of his body. Although control was sowhat strenuous, with the traction of the energy silk, its attack range had suddenly more than doubled.
The Sword Saint of the Tian Gang erged at so point, watching Ah Dai excitedly control the newly transford energy and couldn’t help but smile faintly. The progress of this child was truly beyond his expectation. He had also witnessed Sheng Xie throwing the stone. With a casual wave of his hand, dozens of small stones lifted from the ground and, under Sheng Xie’s watch, flew towards Ah Dai like lightning.
Ah Dai, fully absorbed in his practice, suddenly sensed a massive pressure approaching and quickly maneuvered the Energy blade behind him. With a puff, a stone disintegrated under the force of the Energy blade, but more stones followed in its wake.
Ah Dai was greatly alard, and he stimulated the True Qi within him to its fullest, retreating while defending against the incoming stones. Amidst a brilliant flash of white light, the Energy blade flipped up and down, its puffing sounds continuous, and most of the stones vanished under its assault. However, three or four stones still struck Ah Dai. Although the Sword Saint had been gentle, and Ah Dai had the protection of True Qi, he still cried out in pain.
The Sword Saint of the Tian Gang exclaid, "Your defensive net is too spread out, and your power too dispersed." As he spoke, he sent dozens more stones flying toward Ah Dai. Hearing the Sword Saint’s advice, Ah Dai quickly retracted the energy silk and controlled the small Energy blade to stay within three ters in front of him. Bracing against the severe pain, he prepared to face this next round of attacks.
Just then, an unexpected change occurred. Sheng Xie, who had been sitting by the side, suddenly stood up. His eyes glowing golden, he opened his dragon mouth, and a stream of gray energy, tinged with a hint of Evil Aura, floated out. The stones in the air silently vanished upon touching the gray energy, destroying more than half of the second wave of attacks launched by the Sword Saint, with the remainder completely disintegrating under Ah Dai’s defenses. Both the Sword Saint and Ah Dai were stunned, their gazes simultaneously turning to Sheng Xie.
Sheng Xie then sat back down, appearing sowhat drained, clearly having expended a significant amount of his strength with that burst of gray energy.
Ah Dai floated down beside the Sword Saint, asking in astonishnt, "Master, what was that thing Xiao Qie just sprayed out?"
The Sword Saint bitterly smiled and said, "I am just as new to dragons as you are. If you don’t know what that was, how would I? You should ask him."
Ah Dai approached Sheng Xie and patted his large head, "Xiao Qie, what did you just spray out? It seed very powerful." Sheng Xie blinked his eyes, uttering indecipherable sounds, confusing Ah Dai. Sheng Xie seed anxious and opened his mouth towards the distant mist, and with a puff, sprayed out another shot of gray energy. Though it was much less than before, the mist imdiately disappeared upon contact, and the nearby rocks began to lt upon re touch. After releasing the energy, he collapsed to the ground, gasping for breath and slowly closing his eyes.
Now the Sword Saint saw clearly and, sensing the energy fluctuations, frowned and said, "The energy he sprayed out is highly corrosive. The stones just now must have been instantly corroded by it. Sheng Xie is still too young; once he grows up, this gray Dragon Fla’s power might be even greater. Ah Dai, you must be careful not to co into contact with this kind of energy, otherwise, your body might vanish just like those stones. However, since you are protected by True Qi, unless Sheng Xie’s power exceeds yours, he should not be able to harm you. Indeed, the power of a dragon is terrifying. He is only seven days old and already possesses such strength. When he grows up, who knows what other surprises he will bring us. He seems very tired. You should carry him back to the cave. Rember, when controlling Real Qi, your defense must be imperable, and your offense must be assertive, overwhelming your opponent with your montum. Only then can you be unstoppable."
