Nasha, with tears in her eyes, said, "Yue Yue, my dear, I’m just glad you’re back, just glad you’re back. Mother won’t be mad at you. Co here, let have a good look at you." She cradled Xuan Yue’s delicate face, wiped away the tears on her cheeks, and kissed her forehead lightly. "Ah! Yue Yue, you’ve lost so much weight, you look so haggard, you must have suffered a lot."

Xuan Yue gently shook her head and replied, "Mother, I haven’t suffered much. Let’s go ho."

"Alright, let’s go ho, and I will cook you sothing delicious. You must eat more! Don’t sneak away again, you are the treasure that mother cherishes the most. If sothing happened to you, what would I do!"

Xuan Ye wrapped his arm around his wife’s willowy waist and whispered, "Let’s go, we can talk more after we get ho." The family of three passed through the Light Magic Hall and headed back to the living quarters behind the Prayer Temple, where the Red Robe Priest resided.

Seeing her mother made Xuan Yue’s longing for Ah Dai diminish sowhat. Sasha sat on the bed with her, holding her hand, and said, "Yue Yue, tell everything you did while you were away. Did you encounter any danger?"

Her mother’s words inevitably triggered Xuan Yue’s mories. Rembering everything she and Ah Dai had gone through over the past month, she couldn’t help but beco lost in thought. In a murmur, she said, "Mother, what does it feel like to like soone?"

Nasha was startled and looked up at her husband before saying softly, "Yue Yue, what’s wrong with you? Could it be that you have soone you like?" The confusion in Xuan Yue’s eyes was all too familiar to her. She herself had often shown such an expression after eting Xuan Ye. Could it be that her daughter, who was not yet sixteen years old, had fallen in love? She was secretly amazed; just over a month had passed, and who would have such charm to completely change her mischievous daughter?

Xuan Yue shook her head and murmured, "I don’t know, Mother, I want to see Grandfather."

Xuan Ye frowned and said, "Your grandfather is in the middle of his training, it would be better not to disturb him." In fact, he also wanted to et the Pope as soon as possible to report everything that had happened at Tian Gang Mountain to his father. The existence of the Tian Gang Sword Sect was now threatening the authority of the Temple, and they must discuss counterasures with his father. Such important matters required the Pope’s decision.

Nasha said, "Just take Yue Yue to see him. Father ca out of seclusion the day before yesterday and has been ditating alone in the Prayer Temple these past few days. You and Yue Yue haven’t seen him for a while; you should visit him."

After a mont’s thought, Xuan Ye agreed, "Alright then. Yue Yue, why do you want to see Grandfather? Normally, you’re the least willing to et with him." When Xuan Yue was born, the Pope personally perford the Divine Prayer on her. The Pope discovered that Xuan Yue was born with a Light Physique, and her aptitude was even greater than that of her father, Xuan Ye. Once Xuan Yue was old enough to understand, he would often force her to train in Light Magic. However, Xuan Yue, naturally mischievous and spoiled by her parents’ affection, always avoided the Pope and refused to train, causing the Pope to be both angry and affectionate towards her, helpless in making her comply.

Looking down, Xuan Yue replied, "Father, I want to learn Light Magic from Grandfather."

Both Xuan Ye and Nasha were shocked. Nasha touched Xuan Yue’s forehead in surprise and exclaid, "My good daughter, what’s gotten into you? You don’t have a fever, do you? Why talk such nonsense, have you changed your nature? You used to detest training the most, but now you’re taking the initiative. Even if you want to learn, your father is more than capable of teaching you."

Keeping her head down, Xuan Yue said, "Mother, I’m fine. I just feel that I’m too weak; I’m nothing in this continent. Didn’t Father and Grandfather always say that a great calamity will co in a thousand years? I also want to contribute to the Temple. Training with Grandfather might allow to learn faster."

Xuan Ye was slightly frustrated, his daughter was actually disparaging his level, even though he was the youngest of the four Red Robe Priests. However, he felt a thrill of excitent; after a month of trials, his daughter was finally willing to take training seriously. Perhaps this way, she would stop thinking about that foolish boy.

Frowning, Nasha’s gaze shifted as she hugged her daughter’s shoulders and said, "Training isn’t sothing that needs to be rushed; you just got back today. Rest for a while; take a nap. When you wake up, let your father take you to see Grandfather, okay?"

In her mother’s gentle voice, Xuan Yue nodded and snuggled into her comfortable bed. Nasha tucked her in, lightly stroking her blue hair. In the warmth of her mother’s familiar presence, Xuan Yue gradually fell asleep. These days, she had been so exhausted, and within monts, the sound of her even breathing filled the room.

Watching her daughter enter dreamland, Nasha stood up with a serious face, pulled her husband out of their daughter’s room, and returned to their own bedroom. After closing the door, Nasha reproached him, "You scoundrel, why didn’t you tell you were going to look for our daughter? And what’s the matter with her? Why has she changed so much after just one trip outside? Did she suffer?"

Xuan Ye looked helplessly at his charming wife and said with a wry smile, "Sasha, after all, I am one of the four Red Robe Priests—can we stop with the ’scoundrel’? I went to find Yue Yue alone, for your sake. I didn’t want you to worry! I had intended to take you with , but I was concerned about the hardships of the journey, so I went by myself."
