Xuan Yue glared at him with dissatisfaction and said, "You beco so cold after just a few words. Here, have a Stead Bun, alright?" For Xuan Yue, this was practically an indirect way of apologizing.
Ah Dai took the Stead Bun and replied, "I’m a simpleton; I’m not cold. It’s just that I’m afraid that saying too much might annoy you. If there’s nothing else, I’ll get going."
Xuan Yue snorted, "You really are simple enough. Oh, and don’t tell them about my Phoenix’s Blood, that’s my secret, okay? Look." As she spoke, she lifted the tent flap and took out more than a dozen Stead Buns in a cloth bag, "This is dinner for tonight."
