"Esteed Magician, would you consider joining a rcenary Corps? Our Skywind rcenary Group is quite formidable, and with your addition, we would be unstoppable. Could you please consider it?"
"Lord Magician, don’t listen to his nonsense. Join our Iron War rcenary Group instead. We can guarantee your safety. Even in the face of danger, we are prepared to defend you with our lives."
"Lord Magician, our Dragon Phoenix rcenary Group has many beautiful mbers. Consider joining us."
......
Almost every sowhat renowned rcenary Corps had representatives crowding around, their invitations ceaseless, surrounding Xuan Yue and Ah Dai in the middle.
Xuan Yue hadn’t expected to be so sought after and couldn’t help feeling secretly pleased, but her goal was not to join a rcenary Corps. She shouted loudly, "Stop it, stop it! I’m not here to join a rcenary Corps. Move aside; I’m here to set up my own rcenary Corps."
The representatives of the various rcenary Corps were stunned. A Magician setting up her own rcenary Corps? What concept was that? And judging by the voice, this Senior Magician seed to be a young woman.
Seizing the mont while everyone was still dazed, Xuan Yue turned to Ah Dai and said, "Quick, lead the way in front, let’s head to that counter inside."
Ah Dai responded and, with his fighting spirit contained, gently pushed through the crowd, leading Xuan Yue to the innermost part of the Guild.
The grand hall of the rcenary Guild was extrely spacious, capable of accommodating hundreds of people. At the very back of the hall were three counters: Registration, Mission Assignnt, and Prize Collection. Passing through the crowd, Xuan Yue, pulling Ah Dai, briskly walked to the registration counter and shouted at the staff inside, "I want to register a rcenary Corps."
Behind the registration desk stood a young girl, who, surprised to see the Senior Magician badge on Xuan Yue’s chest, politely asked, "Miss, are you certain?" She had been working there for several years and had never heard of a Magician registering a rcenary Corps. Given the Magician’s status on the continent, they didn’t need to strive for a living; rcenaries could earn money but were relatively more dangerous, she knew. Only the Red Hurricane rcenary Group had a few Magicians; ordinary smaller rcenary Corps, let alone having a Magician, seldom even understood what Magic ant.
Xuan Yue impatiently said, "Of course, I’m sure. Hurry up; don’t you see all these flies buzzing around us?"
The young girl pursed her lips in a smile, glanced at the silent Ah Dai beside Xuan Yue, and asked with a smile, "May I know how many mbers are in your rcenary Corps, and the nas of the leader and deputy leader?"
Without hesitating, Xuan Yue replied, "Two mbers in the rcenary Corps. The leader is Xuan Yue—that is , and the deputy leader is him, nad Ah Dai." Saying this, she pointed at Ah Dai’s towering figure.
"Ah Dai?" The young girl startled but said nothing, quickly jotting down the details. By now, the rcenaries had gathered their senses and crowded around from behind, attempting a final effort. Xuan Yue snorted and murmured a few spells. Suddenly, a Light Bullet appeared on her Magic Wand, its brilliance enhanced by her Sacred Aura, enveloping her and Ah Dai, "Anyone who bothers again should not bla my magic for being harsh." Though she used only a common Illumination Spell, integrated with her Sacred Aura, it generated a certain energy fluctuation, illustrating its efficacy against very low-level Dark Attribute Creatures. Seemingly powerful, it actually lacked any real offensive power. For those unfamiliar with Magic, it was intimidation enough.
The rich Sacred Aura frightened the surrounding rcenaries, causing many to step back, except a few powerful ones, while the rest sheepishly moved aside to attend to their duties.
The young girl asked, "May I know your profession and specialization?"
Xuan Yue replied, "Obviously, a Magician, and I specialize in Light Magic, he specializes in Fire Magic. Is registration always this troubleso?"
The young girl smiled slightly and said, "Registration is indeed cumberso because we need to be clear about the details! Miss Magician, are you sure your rcenary Corps has only two mbers? It’s the smallest I’ve ever seen. I think you should recruit a few warriors; it would significantly strengthen your rcenary Corps’ capabilities."
Xuan Yue glanced at Ah Dai and shook her head, "No need, the two of us are enough. Is there anything else that needs to be registered? Hurry it up."
The young girl smiled, "Just one last thing, please na your rcenary Corps."
Xuan Yue hesitated, "Na?" She hadn’t considered this before. She had been sulking with Ah Dai all morning, only thinking about setting up a rcenary Corps for fun and hadn’t given it much thought. What should they na it? She turned to Ah Dai and asked, "Ah Dai, what do you think our rcenary Corps should be called?"
Ah Dai shook his head, "I’m too slow, Miss. You decide." Since arriving here, he had been searching for Feng Ping and his mbers from the Red Lion rcenary, but he hadn’t seen any rcenary with the Lion’s head emblem on their chest. His heart sank, realizing that after Feng Ping left, the Red Lion rcenary mbers had already embarked on a new mission. Even if they were here, recognizing Ah Dai in a completely different outfit would be difficult.
