After a while, the Pope took a deep breath, and the light of the Divine Healing Technique gradually dissipated in the air. Ah Dai fell back into Yun Ying’s hands, and a faint smile appeared on the Pope’s face. "He’s fine now," the Pope said, "he just needs to rest for a while and let his spiritual power fully recover, then he’ll be back to his previous state. We’ve accomplished a lot today. We’ve wiped out the Giant Winged Ghost King, one of the three great lords of the Undead. Let’s return to base first. Once Ah Dai has recovered, we can continue onto the next challenge." Ah Dai’s elimination of Harsfin, one of the three leaders of the Undead, filled him with elation, and so of his lost confidence was restored.

Three days later.

Ah Dai woke up from his coma, slowly opened his eyes and realized he was in a tent. His mory was still trapped in the mont of Harsfin’s sneak attack. A thought struck him, and he sat up abruptly. He moved his body a bit, apart from so light dizziness in his head, there was nothing else wrong. The vigorous True Qi within his body was still extrely active, and there was nothing unusual. He said to himself, "Did I not die?" Recalling the scene where Harsfin attacked him, Ah Dai couldn’t help feeling resentful. It was all his fault for being too trusting of the enemy. He wondered how everyone was doing. Harsfin’s prowess was so formidable that even the combined forces of the three Sword Saints might not have been able to handle him. Amidst the worry, he stepped onto the ground, ready to go check on everyone, when Xuan Yue ca into his tent, carrying a pot of clear water.

"Ah! Ah Dai, you’re awake." Xuan Yue exclaid with joy. She placed the water pot aside, and rushed into Ah Dai’s arms.

As he held Xuan Yue’s soft body, Ah Dai then truly believed that he was not dead. He felt a surge of emotion in his heart and gently said, "Yue Yue, what happened? Did I not die that day?"

Xuan Yue lifted up her head in annoyance, lightly tapped Ah Dai’s forehead with her small hand and said, "You’re such a fool, you fell for the enemy’s trick." She nestled in Ah Dai’s arms and recounted the events of the day. After listening to Xuan Yue’s words, Ah Dai frowned and said, "I was aided by a Sky God? Really?"

Xuan Yue smiled and said, "Why not? The sa thing happened when you invoked the Nine Heavens God Thunder last ti. Do you know? When Harsfin attacked you that day, he not only broke your Defense Aura, but also shattered the Giant Spirit Snake Armor. However, he was also unlucky. His first three punches that hit you were right where the Sword of Hades was wrapped in a leather bag on your chest. The Sword of Hades lived up to its reputation as a top-level Divine Artifact, blocking most of the attack for you. Maybe it was because of your extre despair and anger, you managed to invoke the help of a Sky God."

Ah Dai was completely bewildered. He shook his head vigorously, and said, "I won’t think about it anymore. If a Sky God really helped , I’m sure it’ll happen again. It’s already early May now. I’ll ditate tonight, and let’s head to the Bone Dragon Territory tomorrow. The disturbing feeling in my heart seems clearer, as if sothing is about to happen soon. We’d better eradicate the Church of the Dark Saint quickly, so that I can feel at ease."

Xuan Yue nodded and said, "Co, wash your face first. This clear water is brought by our logistics supply unit from the Tian Yuan Clan territory. It’s very precious, so I only brought you a little. I will go and inform Grandfather that you have woken up."

The next morning, after ditating overnight, Ah Dai had fully recovered and was in peak condition. The team set off once more with the sa lineup, their goal was still the Bone Dragon Territory, the ninth challenge.

Standing before the mountain again, Ah Dai looked around and said to the Pope, "Grandfather, even though the Bone Dragons are immune to magic, I think they should be like the Fire Sprites – powerful magic attacks still pose a threat to them. Once we reach the Bone Dragon Territory, please launch large-scale, high-intensity magic attacks with the four Red Robe Priests to completely suppress the Bone Dragons. Otherwise, if two hundred Bone Dragons attack us at the sa ti, it will be difficult for us to handle. We might incur casualties."
