Ah Dai gradually cald down. The appearance of the Giant Winged Ghost King, being one of the three undead overlords in the next challenge, significantly heightened his alertness. "I’ve only heard about you. You haven’t answered my question yet." Halsfin’s lone eye flickered, seemingly in no hurry. "No one in the Death Mountain Range can stop , not even Evil Dragon Heralbink. I heard that you humans have eradicated many undead creatures ahead here. Specifically ca to look, you are indeed strong! It’s rare for a human to beco so powerful, almost god-like."
Feeling that Halsfin in front of him seed quite humane, Ah Dai grew thoughtful, then asked, "I’ve never co across a creature like you before, are you really an undead creature?"
Halsfin laughed, his fangs flashing a ghastly white. "Of course not, how could undead creatures be as powerful as ? We who guard the last three passes are actually from the Demon Realm. I was once a demon under Hades’ rule. After I followed Hades to this place and was killed by the Divine King, that scoundrel Nazgul preserved my soul. Using the undead he summoned himself, he resurrected . Even though I technically fall under the category of undead creatures, my power remains as terrifying as ever. I am still the fearso demon Halsfin."
Upon hearing his story, Ah Dai’s heart sank. He knew that since his opponent hailed from the Demon Realm, the chances of him submitting to their own side were nil. The only choice left was an all-out battle. Faced with such a formidable demon, he had no confidence in erging triumphant. "So, it turns out that you and the Evil Dragon were both resurrected by the Immortal Evil Witch King Nazgul. Who is Nazgul?"
Halsfin snorted, "That guy was nothing more than a dogheaded strategist under Hades. If he hadn’t preserved my body, I wouldn’t have paid him any mind. If possible, I hope you’ll kill him in the future. There aren’t many demons even in the Demon Realm who like him. That scum has made , originally handso and suave, look like this. He gave this disgusting na, the Giant Winged Ghost King. It’s total bullshit! It makes angry just to think about it. That bastard wouldn’t dare do that so to Heralbink. It’s because I’m not as strong as him. Kid, you’re here to deal with the Bone Dragon, right? Those big bones united together are no match for you guys. Even Nazgul is sowhat afraid of them in the Death Mountain Range. Going against them is no less than suicide. You might as well give your body to , you look much better than ." As he spoke, a faint green halo emanated from his lone eye.
Ah Dai was taken aback. His prior fight with Undead Fairy Qian Qian gave him the experience to recognize that his adversary was about to launch a spiritual attack.
Divine Dragon Body Cover was exceptionally formidable. Even though Halsfin launched a spiritual attack, most of it was blocked by Ah Dai. Following the example of the Yajin Tribe Clan Leader, he shouted "Face it!" His spiritual power started fluctuating violently, producing a faint white halo from his Sea of Consciousness, which directly neutralized the remaining energy of Halsfin. Caught in a spiritual tug-of-war, Halsfin, floating in mid-air, slightly trembled. Seizing the opportunity, Ah Dai gripped his sword with both hands and swiftly aid a blow at his adversary’s head. He knew that when the mind was damaged, the enemy would be at his weakest.
The imnse Suru Sword lunged through Halsfin’s body without making a sound. It only hit an illusion. Ah Dai was startled as a massive surge of energy from behind sent him flying. Although his ridians were sowhat shocked, Divine Dragon Body Cover and Giant Spirit Snake Armor protected him. He quickly circled his body with the Suru Sword, forcing Halsfin to retreat. Without attempting to strike again, Halsfin remained hovering in mid-air, "Kid, your spiritual power is so strong! It seems I have been underestimating you. But don’t forget my disgusting title — Giant Winged Ghost King — I can turn into a soul-like form at any ti. It won’t be easy to attack my real body."
Blue, red, and green figures flew up from below; they were the other three Sword Saints who, noticing the trouble above, quickly flew up to assist Ah Dai.
Halsin continued to chuckle, seemingly unflustered, "Here cos three more individuals marching to their deaths. Good, indeed. When did humans beco so strong? I rember a thousand years ago, there were only a few of you with such abilities. Today, we’ve all caught up. However, there won’t be any Sky Gods to help you this ti."
Ah Dai, harmonizing his True Qi, warned in a deep voice, "The three of you, beware. He is one of the three Undead Overlords, Massive Winged Phantom King Halsfin."
Without waiting for Ah Dai’s caution, the oppressive power emanating from Halsfin washed over Yun Ying and the others, instantly filling the air around them with their Clear Wind Bright Moon Battle Aura, Fire Nightmare Battle Aura, and Green Lotus Battle Aura. They allied themselves with Ah Dai’s Living Battle Aura in surrounding Halsfin in the center.
