Xuan Yue gave a faint smile, controlling the energy of the Fire Phoenix to transform into specks of red light and re-enter the Phoenix’s Blood. Kino fawningly said, "Boss Xuan Yue, I can’t use words to describe my admiration for you. Such powerful Fire Magic is sothing I have rarely seen in my life! This poisonous spider can no longer threaten us."
Xuan Yue replied impatiently, "Stop buttering up. Sheng Xie, let’s get going quickly,the further we can rush in, the better."
Ah Dai held Xuan Yue’s delicate body and smiled, "We ought to be able to make it through at least two more gates this round, you rest behind Sheng Xie for the mont. If any foes appear later, leave it to us."
Xuan Yue gave a gentle smile and said, "Take care, then." She quickly sat on the broad back of Sheng Xie, her one hand grabbing onto the Golden Horn in front of her and the other hand holding the Angel Wand against her chest, and started to ditate rapidly. Their second entry into the Death Mountain Range was much smoother than the first, effortlessly passing four gates, sothing they had not anticipated previously. Death Mountain Range spanned millions of square kiloters, they were now only two-thirds of the route away from the central mountain range. Ah Dai looked around and released his spiritual sense in its entirety, always ready to face a new challenge.
Suddenly, Ah Dai felt a chill run through his body, and he shivered for no apparent reason. A sense of tension rose in his heart. He focused his gaze ahead, but didn’t see any trace of an enemy. A groan ca from behind him. As he turned to look, he saw Kino and Olivia trembling continuously and kneeling behind Sheng Xie, seemingly in extre distress. He was surprised to discover that the sounds of faint resentful sighs seed to ring out beside his ears, as if sothing was beckoning him.
The two bundles of golden light emitted from the gold rings on Kino’s and Olivia’s fingers. Their expressions looked a bit calr, but their faces were pale as ghosts. The speed at which Sheng Xie advanced suddenly decreased. Its enormous body began to tremble faintly, while the seven golden horns on its back produced an intense golden light, turning into seven bolts of electricity shooting into the sky.
"Ah---" A shrill scream suddenly sounded in Ah Dai’s ear. The extrely tragic voice caused him to feel a spine-chilling sensation. The light emitted from the golden horns on Sheng Xie’s back quickly enveloped everyone.
