He watched as a blue light from Ah Dai’s hand clashed with his own blade. When the blue and green fighting energy collided in mid-air with a crisp clang, the Overlord was horrified to discover that his fighting energy, despite being exerted to the fullest, was lting like ice and snow upon eting the blue light blade. The fiercely piercing blue light blade flicked past his blade, sending the blade flying. The indestructible blue light blade continued to cut towards his skull without slowing down, giving the Overlord a chilling sense of impending death. He had never thought that he would die in such a way. Ti wasn’t on his side to dodge, let alone that Ah Dai’s aura had already locked him in place. The corner of the Overlord’s mouth curled into a bitter smile. Even the Overlord’s Blade, embedded with all his energy, was unable to stop the advancent of Ah Dai. His golden helt definitely stood no chance. All he could do was to watch the light blade slash towards him, and wait for his impending death.
When Ah Dai broke the Overlord’s Blade, he didn’t escape without any repercussions. After all, the Overlord was a top-notch fighter, with his skill level on par with the Blood Skull. Although Ah Dai’s martial energy was completely boiling, the heart-wrenching enormous energy contained in the Overlord’s concentrated full-force strike inflicted so damage on him. Ah Dai could have avoided the injury if he had transford the forward thrust of his energy into his own circulation and used the recoil to pause his body in midair, neutralizing all the energy thrown by the opponent. However, Ah Dai didn’t retreat, as his mind was void of the notion of retreat at this point. His only desire was to completely shatter the Overlord rcenary Group at the fastest speed. He forcefully suppressed the injuries within his body with his Vital True Qi, maintaining his montum to launch himself forward.
In the face of such a domineering foe, the Overlord was already in complete despair. He closed his eyes, quietly waiting for the mont the blue light blade reached him. Ah Dai was as fast as lightning under his relentless montum. It was only when he was a foot away from the Overlord that Ah Dai suddenly realized that he couldn’t kill him. Setting aside the fact that killing was sothing he didn’t want to do, if he killed the Overlord, the mbers of the Overlord rcenary Group would certainly break out in fury, making it impossible to dissolve the resentnt between them. Thoughts flashed through Ah Dai’s mind like electric sparks.
