Ah Dai and Xuan Yue had not actually left Mimu City, they were still thinking about the reward of a thousand Gold Coins. Not far from the East City Gate, they found a small hostel to stay at. Dressed as ordinary civilians, they naturally went unnoticed. Ah Dai glanced at the few remaining silver coins in their pouch and forced a bitter smile at Xuan Yue, "Brother, we can’t feast tonight."

He knew clearly it won’t take a long ti until he absorbed all of the Sword Saint’s energy and beco another Sword Saint, or even surpass the Tian Gang Sword Saint’s achievent. The great act of his master’s self-sacrifice was continuously inspiring his spirits. A warm wave of energy erged from the second Golden Body near his heart, covering his entire body and calming down his restless mind. His consciousness imrsed in the soft but pure energy of the two Golden Bodies and entered a ditative state.
The ditating Ah Dai didn’t notice the considerable change in Xuan Yue, who was sitting opposite him. The surging Holy Power enveloped her body. The six Wings of Light appeared again, seeming more transparent after the baptism. With the power of the six wings, Xuan Yue could absorb elental energy much faster than before, her magic cultivation was continually ascending. The Pope had predicted it correctly; after a year’s bath of divine energy, Xuan Yue had beco the one closest to God.
At dawn, blue and red lights rose simultaneously, encapsulating a gold and a white energy ball. The blue and red lights gradually faded, the white and gold energies converged revealing Ah Dai and Xuan Yue. They opened their eyes simultaneously, their bright eyes reflecting each other, creating a spark that was sowhat prickling.
Xuan Yue noticed Ah Dai’s change - his dark eyes looked profound; his bronze skin had a faint light gleaming beneath, with his ordinary looks now had an intriguing charm. He sat there, elusive like a lofty mountain.
Ah Dai also noticed Xuan Yue’s change. Her blue hair shimred like strands of sapphire, her blue eyes were soft and deep like an endless ocean, her fair skin emanated divine glory, faint golden light circled her body, she looked like a celestial being.
Although they were both dressed in ordinary civilian attire, the plain clothing cannot conceal their radiant composure. Their temperant had drastically changed. They had enhanced their abilities to an unprecedented level and reached a new starting point for further cultivation.
"Brother, you look so handso!" Ah Dai admired.
"Big brother, you look quite handso too!" Xuan Yue responded with a smile. Both burst into laughter, the imnse boost in their abilities filled them with confidence. The Death Mountain Range no longer seed daunting, their vast powers would be their strongest weapon. At that mont, the duo firmly believed that nothing could stop their progression.
The dawn light broke through the window, the sun rose from the east a new day was about to begin.
Ah Dai wore a faint smile, "It’s getting late, let’s eat sothing and set off." Without chanting a spell, a flash of blue light brought out the last bunch of fruit from the Illusive Forest. Xuan Yue took a breath, and a piece of fruit flew to her, she took a bite of it, and the sweet juice flowed into her mouth, "Big brother, once this fruit is gone, it’s gone. Let’s see who can finish eating first."
Ah Dai eagerly replied, "Alright!" Like Xuan Yue, he quickly took a fruit and started eating. In a mont, the two of them had devoured all eight pieces of fruit.
