Ah Dai smiled and said, "Alright! Sheng Xie, you are my friend from now on. I will call you Xiao Xie." Thus, the bond of unchanging friendship with Grim Reaper Ah Dai was ford by the renowned Golden-Eyed Sheng Xie Dragon.
Xiao Xie twisted his chubby body, yawned by Ah Dai’s feet, and lay motionless on the ground. After a while, he began to snore softly.
The Sword Saint of the Tian Gang shook his head helplessly and said, "Alright, Ah Dai, go back to the Sword Sect first. Have Xi Wen arrange for more food to be sent over. I fear that Sheng Xie’s appetite will be astonishing. I will teach you the cultivation thod of turning life into life when you co back."
Ah Dai acknowledged and left...
To the surprise of the Sword Saint of the Tian Gang and Ah Dai, Sheng Xie slept for seven days without showing any signs of waking up, sleeping soundly. Ah Dai was once concerned about Sheng Xie’s physical condition, and he had examined his breath with Life Qi, and found nothing unusual. On the third day of Sheng Xie’s sleep, Ah Dai and the Sword Saint of the Tian Gang noticed his changes. Sheng Xie’s body seed to have grown a little, the wings on his back had changed the most, no longer as soft as when he first appeared, although still very elastic, but more robust and bigger. Sheng Xie’s body was not as smooth as it had been when he appeared, with tiny gray dots all over his body, hard to the touch, as if they were small protrusions. The seven protrusions from his forehead to his back were a bit more bulging. In fact, all of these changes were due to Sheng Xie ingesting those four top-grade magic crystals. He was deeply asleep as he continued to absorb the energy from the top-grade magic crystals.
During these seven days, Ah Dai spent half his ti in ditation. For the rest of the ti, Sword Saint of the Tian Gang started teaching him the art of Transformation. Transformation was a unique practice technique that the Sword Saint of the Tian Gang had developed himself. Training was very difficult as it required a very high level of Battle Aura capability. Ah Dai’s Life Skill had reached the sixth realm, however, training in Transformation was still very difficult. When practicing Transformation, one must expel the True Qi from the body and control this expelled energy with the will, moreover, one should be able to control this energy to withdraw it at any mont.
The first ti Ah Dai tried Transformation, by following the Sword Saint of the Tian Gang’s thod, he used all his strength and managed to condense a fist-sized ball of white Battle Aura which was slightly liquid in nature. Just when he was about to control this liquid energy to transform, he accidentally expended too much force and suddenly lost the ntal connection with the liquid energy. As a result, not only a three-ter-diater deep pit was blasted in the ground, but he was also left in a terrible state. If it hadn’t been for the Guardian Ring that emitted defensive energy in ti, Ah Dai would have been seriously injured. The worst part was that, since he had exhausted all of his liquid Battle Aura, the inside of his body suddenly felt empty. It took him two days of ditation to recover to his original state. Ever since this first experint, every ti Ah Dai practiced controlling Transformation, he would inevitably be blown out of the stone cave by Sword Saint of the Tian Gang. For, the Sword Saint didn’t want Ah Dai to destroy the stone cave where he practiced. After all, the massive energy held by the Solid State Energy derived from the Transformation practice was so compressed!
By the fifth day of practice, Ah Dai had gradually grasped the technique. He found that when using Transformation, as long as the liquid True Qi he used did not exceed the True Qi remaining in his body, it was easy to control. If it exceeded, it was much more difficult to control. From then on, he began to use four parts of the Life Qi, and retain six parts, although he could only emit chicken egg-sized Solid State Energy, he could control it with ease. The practice of Transformation was much more relaxed since then and he started being able to change the shape of the solid-state energy emitted. The Sword Saint of the Tian Gang, watching secretly from the shadows, couldn’t help but nod. He hadn’t told Ah Dai these training secrets because he wanted him to understand them on his own. What was given was never as profound as what was personally comprehended.
anwhile, while Ah Dai was practicing hard, Xuan Ye and her daughter had already returned to the Holy Church. The Church wasn’t far from the Tian Gang Mountain Range. That day, after leaving the Tian Gang Mountain Range, Xuan Ye, along with her daughter and her subordinates, recuperated their Magic Power and promptly returned to the Holy Church.
