Yan Li attempted to catch small beasts for a change of flavor a few tis but was stopped by Xuan Yue, for the animals were living peacefully, and there was no need to kill them for food. Under her persuasive coaxing, Yan Li had no choice but to give up.
Suddenly, the sound of flowing water reached their ears — a llifluous, bell-like babbling, cleansing their souls like divine music. Even before seeing it, they were intoxicated by the sound, and they ran towards the sound simultaneously.
They discovered a clear brook. Water seeped out from a crack in an adjacent mountain, gathering into a small pool. The spring from the pool gently flowed downward, nourishing the surroundings.
"How wonderful, I want to take a bath." Xuan Yue jumped off Ah Dai’s back and sprinted towards the pool. With a splash, she dived into the knee-deep clear water. The icy spring water bathed her body, washing away her fatigue. She repeatedly splashed the spring water, her vibrant laughter echoing around the place.
Yan Shi coughed and turned himself and Yan Li around, their backs facing the pool. Xuan Yue’s white mage robe was soaked, revealing her stunning figure. The sixteen-year-old girl was already well-developed, coupled with her enchanting face, even a dullard would be captivated by such a beautiful sight.
Ah Dai stood dumbstruck, gazing at the joyous Xuan Yue in the pool. To him, she was like a blissful angel, utterly charming.
Xuan Yue realized her slip-up and cried out. She hastily sank lower into the pool, her cheeks turning rosy. Angrily, she shouted at Ah Dai, "What are you looking at? Disgusting, turn around."
Startled out of his daze, Ah Dai quickly turned away. Yan Li chuckled, "Let’s leave this place to Yue Yue and go drink so water downstream."
Yan Shi laughed bitterly, "Wouldn’t that an we’re drinking Yue Yue’s bathwater?"
Ah Dai scratched his head, "I...I’ll go first." His face turned hot from the sight of Xuan Yue’s seductive figure. The sight of her tantalizing body barely concealed under her wet clothes had his heart racing. He felt an overwhelming warmth rushing up to his face as his body instinctively reacted. Terrified by his own reaction, he ran downstream where the water level was lower and continuously splashed cold water on his face, hoping to sober himself up.
The sounds of the brook echoed continuously, signaling Xuan Yue enjoying her bath pleasure imnsely. To the cleanliness-loving Xuan Yue, few days without bathing was worse than being killed. Hence, when an opportunity arose, she cherished it.
Yan Shi and Yan Li sat by Ah Dai, casually washing themselves in the spring water and taking a break.
"Ah Dai, what exactly did you see just now! It seed like your nose started bleeding, was it too stimulating? Thank goodness I didn’t see, else I would have been cursed." Yan Li poked Ah Dai’s body while giggling sinisterly.
