Sheng Xie flapped its wings and flew up. As its strength had increased further, it could now easily carry Ah Dai aloft. "Let’s eat fruits first. If I’m full, then I’ll head back."
Ah Dai smiled helplessly and shouted to Xuan Yue below, "Yue Yue, be careful when you’re bathing. We won’t go far and will be back soon." After speaking, he directed Sheng Xie to the orchard and together they drifted away, a man and a dragon.
Watching Ah Dai and Sheng Xie leave, Xuan Yue revealed a knowing smile at the corner of her mouth, shed her outer garnt, cast a Defense Magic on herself, and floated up before diving into the flowing clear river. At this mont, her heart was filled with a satisfaction she had never known before; she could finally be with Ah Dai openly in her womanly form, and the excitent in her heart was simply indescribable.
Sheng Xie had an astonishing appetite, and ordinary toxins were ineffective against it. The entire orchard was ravaged, with the majority of fruits ending up in its dragon belly. It was only while watching Sheng Xie’s frenzied "slaughter" of the fruits that Ah Dai rembered he and Xuan Yue hadn’t eaten all day - Yue Yue must be hungry, too. But now Yue Yue was taking a bath; how could he possibly go back?
Sheng Xie, pleased with itself, nestled close to Ah Dai, rubbing its dragon belly with its claw and chuckled slyly, "Brother, do you want to peek at sister Xuan Yue bathing? How about we sneak over there? With your skills, she probably won’t notice us."
Hearing Sheng Xie’s words, Ah Dai was suddenly embarrassed, "Xiao Qie, when did you beco so naughty? To even let such words slip out."
Sheng Xie blinked its large eyes and said with a wronged tone, "But, but you taught all this! We are mind-linked; deep down, you know you want to go back and take a look."
Ah Dai pretended to be angry, "You’ve eaten and had your fun, now it’s ti to return to the Dragon’s Blood."
Sheng Xie pouted, "Alright then, I’m going back to sleep. I won’t be a third wheel anymore." With a flash of light, without Ah Dai chanting the Spell for the Divine Dragon’s Blood, Sheng Xie had already returned on its own.
Ah Dai shook his head helplessly; last night’s "beautiful scene" kept flashing through his mind. Sheng Xie was right; deep down, he really did want to see Yue Yue bathing again. With mixed feelings, Ah Dai arrived behind the hillside next to the small river. He was surprised to find that the sound of rushing water he heard when Xuan Yue bathed yesterday was absent, indicating that Yue Yue had indeed finished bathing. Realizing this, a tinge of disappointnt rose in Ah Dai’s heart. He levitated and crossed the hillside, descending toward the direction of the small river.
When Ah Dai arrived at the small river, the figure of Xuan Yue was nowhere to be found, which shocked him greatly. The river flowed quietly, and the Mage Robe Xuan Yue had set aside was gone, with everything around being so silent. The sudden disappearance of his beloved sent a wave of panic through Ah Dai, and he yelled out loud, "Yue Yue, Yue Yue, where are you?" His voice, amplified by his True Qi, traveled far and echoed continuously through the silent wilderness.
Had Xuan Yue disappeared? Of course not. She was hiding just behind a large tree not far from the small river. To avoid a repeat of last night’s awkward episode, she had quickly finished bathing and dried her Mage Robe with the Fire Energy of Phoenix’s Blood. On a whim, she decided to tease Ah Dai by hiding behind the tree, concealing her presence to see how Ah Dai would react. As Ah Dai’s anxious calls echoed in her ears, Xuan Yue’s eyes moistened, and she could no longer contain her emotions, bursting out from her hiding spot and exclaiming, "Ah Dai, I’m here!"
Startled, Ah Dai turned around, and upon retrieving the apple of his eye, he lunged at Xuan Yue with all his might. Xuan Yue felt a shadow flash before her, and her body lightened, lifted off the ground. Ah Dai hugged Xuan Yue tightly, his voice choked by emotion as he held her still-damp hair close. Even though he had only been gone for less than half an hour to pick fruits, it felt to him like a separation of centuries from Xuan Yue. Fearing she would leave him again, he cradled his most precious treasure close, cherishing the person in his arms. The blue light of the Dragon’s Blood and the red light of the Phoenix’s Blood appeared again. A blue and a red streak of light intertwined and shot into the sky, and at this mont, both Ah Dai and Xuan Yue experienced an epiphany, an inexplicable understanding. It was as if a bridge had been forged between the Dragon’s Blood and Phoenix’s Blood. The minds of Ah Dai and Xuan Yue rged into a chaotic state, their spirits indistinguishable from each other. Instinctively, they began chanting the spells hidden within their hearts.
"Invoke the Dragon’s Blood to eternally protect the power of the Phoenix! Release it."
"Invoke the Phoenix’s Blood to forever accompany the energy of the Dragon! Awaken."
A blue Giant Dragon rose into the air behind Ah Dai. Its enormous form, over thirty feet long, twisted slightly, and its shape was so clear that even the patterns on each Scale could be discerned. The blue light suddenly shone brightly, as the lodic Dragon Roars pierced the heavens.
