Xuan Yue had just erged from the restroom when he overhead Ah Dai’s words. Fuming, he strode up to the waiter, "Who, who wants to eat those two sea dogs?"
The waiter choked up, "They are so pitiable! They were ant for display, but the guests from the Red Charming Clan took an interest in them, and the Clan Leader demanded we prepare the sea dogs for their al. The boss couldn’t refuse under the Clan Leader’s influence. Da Hei and Er Hei, they’re going to..."
Before finishing, the waiter burst into tears and ran out.
Although he had only spent a short while with them, Xuan Yue had grown deeply fond of the gentle sea creatures. He snorted angrily, "Let see. With here, no one is touching them." After speaking, he stord out of the private room.
Olivia and Ah Dai stood up, with Ah Dai saying, "We should also see what’s happening, hopefully we can stop them."
Olivia frowned, "Those guests belong to the Yajin Tribe Clan Leader; they’re probably not ordinary people and won’t be easy to deal with. This is their territory; it’s better if we don’t stir up trouble." His personality was sowhat similar to Ah Dai’s, preferring to avoid complications.
By the ti the two arrived downstairs, they saw Xuan Yue blocking the chefs by the pool, preventing them from catching the sea dogs with a large net. To Ah Dai’s surprise, all the waitresses were on Xuan Yue’s side, forming a barrier around the pool. Their eyes were red with emotion, clearly unable to bear parting with the friends who had been with them for two years.
The two chefs, troubled, looked at Xuan Yue and the girls, one of them saying, "Please step aside, don’t make it difficult for us. This is the Clan Leader’s order and even the boss can’t do anything about it. What’s the use of you blocking us?"
Xuan Yue snorted angrily. "Send your boss to ; as long as I’m here, no one is eating them." A faint white glow emanated from Xuan Yue, his mighty presence causing the chefs to tremble and involuntarily take a few steps back in astonishnt at the vision of Xuan Yue dressed in a light magic robe.
Ah Dai placed his hand on Xuan Yue’s trembling shoulder, calming him, "Brother, don’t get angry, there’s definitely a way to solve this. Big brother will help you." For so reason, ever since he t Xuan Yue in the Illusive Forest, Ah Dai couldn’t bear to see "Yue Yue’s brother" upset.
Xuan Yue nodded silently and uttered a few spell words. To the amazent of everyone in the Golden Jade Building, a pale golden glow enveloped the pool. A barrier with strong defensive abilities isolated the pool from the outside world.
Olivia shouted at the two chefs, "Call your boss here, and tell him the Mage Guild on the continent won’t allow these two sea dogs to be eaten."
Challenged by the steadfast gaze of Ah Dai’s group, the chefs backed down, and sheepishly left the hall to go upstairs and deliver the ssage. The waitresses sighed in relief seeing the sea dogs escape danger, spontaneously encircling Xuan Yue, the rescuer, in the middle. Their astonished, admiring, and adoring gazes made Xuan Yue tense, feeling extrely uncomfortable.
"Magician, thank you so much! You must help us keep Da Hei and Er Hei safe! Please don’t let those people eat them."
"Magician, you are so handso! Is this magic? So impressive!"
