Ah Dai frowned, "Is there sothing you need?" He was already growing weary of the Skeleton rcenary Group’s domineering behavior.

The courteous cavalryman said, "Good day, I am Zong Yue, the deputy captain of the Skeleton rcenary Group’s cavalry squadron. You must be the head of the Evil Sky rcenary Group. I think, since we are both protecting this caravan, it would be best not to spoil the harmony. Could you please release our captain from the restraints?"

Ah Dai glanced at the struggling Ice Skeleton and nodded, "Alright, but I hope you will not trouble us again." After saying that, with a thought, he waved his right hand toward the Ice Skeleton, a flash of green light sparkled, and the Energy Web on Ice Skeleton was withdrawn by him. The Energy Web was no longer like before—once released could not be retracted. Now, Ah Dai could completely control the massive energy, achieving control at will.

As the restraints on Ice Skeleton instantaneously vanished, she staggered while struggling, nearly falling to the ground, barely stabilizing herself with the support of her Extre Ice Silver Lance. The intensity of her struggle had drained much of her strength, leaving her gasping heavily. The cold gaze from beneath her helt glared at Ah Dai nearby, various complex emotions flickering in her heart. Such a defeat was intolerable to her.

Ah Dai did not pay any more attention to Ice Skeleton and, taking Xuan Yue by the hand, he asked Mulat, "President, where is your carriage? We’ll wait inside."

"Right, right. It’s over there, that black one," Mulat hastily pointed at a large carriage powered by four tall horses not far away.

Just as Ah Dai was about to head to the carriage with Xuan Yue, a voice from Ice Skeleton ca from behind, "Wait a mont." Her voice was no longer as cold as before but carried a hint of dejection.

Ah Dai turned around, facing Ice Skeleton, "What is it now?"

Rembering her prior commitnt, Ice Skeleton clenched her teeth, strode up to Ah Dai, and said grudgingly, "Ice Skeleton will heed the master’s commands."

Ah Dai looked around in surprise and asked, "Who is your master?"

Ice Skeleton said coldly, "We agreed before that if you could defeat within three moves, I would obey you from then on. Now you have done it, and you may command as you please."

Ah Dai smiled faintly, sowhat appreciative of Ice Skeleton’s adherence to her promise, "Why take a jest so seriously? I only hope that you won’t harass us anymore. We of the Evil Sky rcenary Group just want to assist you, to complete this task together. Since we are on the sa path, I do not wish for any sches."

Ice Skeleton angrily responded, "I have always been true to my word, and once I make a pledge, I carry it out. Starting now, I, Ice Skeleton, formally leave the Skeleton rcenary Group to serve your command, head of the Evil Sky rcenary Group." She nearly gritted her teeth to say these words. The humiliation of being defeated in one move continually assaulted her spirit.

Observing Ice Skeleton’s deanor and listening to her resolute words, Ah Dai realized she was serious. He glanced at Xuan Yue, showing an expression that sought help. He didn’t want a girl following him around. Moreover, with "Xuan Re" being there, if he told Yue Yue about this in the future, Yue Yue would surely be very upset. Although Ah Dai always resisted his feelings toward Xuan Yue, he still inadvertently considered her feelings.

Seeing Ah Dai’s plea for help, Xuan Yue smiled slightly, stepped forward, and said, "Miss Ice Skeleton, he is not the head of the Evil Sky rcenary Group. He is just the deputy head."

Upon hearing Xuan Yue’s words, the surrounding crowd erupted in astonishnt. They could not believe that with Ah Dai’s superior martial arts, he was only a deputy head.

Ice Skeleton was also stunned, "Deputy head, then who is your leader?"
