The shock in the hearts of the eight Assassins was no less than that of Ah Dai. The "Nine Changes of Annihilation" was one of the strongest defensive techniques they had developed. It allowed them to retreat with the force of their opponent’s attack and, by constantly rging and changing the fighting energy of the nine individuals, they prevented injury. However, such a sophisticated technique still couldn’t stop the Ultimate Evil Power of the Sword of Hades. After paying the price of a life, they were also invaded by the Evil Aura, fighting against it with their own fighting energy.
The two sides fell into a stalemate again, both continuously channeling their powers, healing while preparing for the next attack.
Ah Dai removed his hand from the Sword of Hades, clearly understanding that the eight people in front of him were probably not sothing that the first two moves of the Hades Sword Technique could handle. The massive Evil Power contained in the subsequent moves was sothing he couldn’t endure. If he forced himself to use them, it was likely that the Evil Power would backlash, allowing the Evil Power of the Sword of Hades to take control and turn him into a murderous demon, which was exactly what Ah Dai feared the most.
The sudden retraction of the Evil Aura greatly reduced the pressure on the nine assassins, and they looked at Ah Dai in astonishnt, not understanding why he would do such a thing.
Ah Dai took a deep breath, and a yellow-green light flashed in his hands. Two balls of energy, constantly transforming, burst forth—he was prepared to fight to the death with his own strength. Even though he had the capability to run now, he absolutely wouldn’t leave. After finally finding Owen’s enemies, how could he be content without killing them? "Tell , where is the Assassin’s Guild?" Ah Dai asked the question he most wanted to know, although he knew they wouldn’t answer. He suppressed his injuries again, not knowing how many attacks he could still perform, but he would definitely not show any trace of retreat.
The first assassin, i Yi, dispelled the Evil Power inside him and spoke coldly, "Do you think I would tell you? Kid, you are indeed strong, and the Sword of Hades is truly the most evil in the world. Even after years of cultivation, one of us has perished at your hand. However, I want to know—how many tis can you still use that Sword of Hades?"
Ah Dai retorted with hatred, "Even without the Sword of Hades, I can still kill all of you. Tell the address of the Assassin’s Guild, and I will spare your lives." Ah Dai knew that these people were rely accomplices, and only the chairman of the Assassin’s Guild, ntioned by his uncle, was the true malefactor who tornted his uncle his entire life.
i Yi was secretly delighted, as his probing had unexpectedly revealed the secret that Ah Dai would no longer use the Sword of Hades. Although the young man in front of him had profound skills that surpassed each one of them, without the threat of the Sword of Hades, how could this boy nad Ah Dai be a match for the combined attack of his brothers? Assassins don’t abide by any knightly principles of fair combat.
At this mont, the other assassins had also recovered from the Evil Aura, almost simultaneously raising their narrow swords. i Yi sneered, "Without the Sword of Hades, you only have one outco, and that’s death—" As soon as the words fell, the eight assassins, in perfect coordination from years of teamwork, leapt into the air simultaneously. Eight silhouettes intertwined in the air, forming a large black net rushing towards Ah Dai with intense killing intent.
Ah Dai took another deep breath, facing such a formidable attack, he beca completely imrsed in a state of neither sorrow nor joy. His body seed to shake uncontrollably as solid-state yellow-green energy burst forth, "Heaven—Net—Earth—Web—." A yellow-green light net, ford by the continuous trembling of Ah Dai’s hands, composed of solid-state fighting energy strands, suddenly appeared. At that mont, Ah Dai felt his power was even more profound than before. The Heaven Net Earth Web, emitting energy even more destructive than before under his deliberate control, enveloped the adversaries.
When i Yi and the eight saw that Ah Dai alone emitted an energy net similar to the energy of their group effort, they were montarily stunned but quickly recovered from their surprise. They were well aware that when energies of the sa form collided, the side with the more profound energy would prevail. Without the Sword of Hades, they couldn’t believe that this young man, around twenty, could face them all at once. Unchanging in their assault, they continued towards Ah Dai.
Ah Dai also understood that the Heaven Net Earth Web couldn’t handle these eight powerful opponents. The instant their longswords phantasmagorically woven energy net collided with Ah Dai’s transforming Heaven Net Earth Web, Ah Dai abruptly severed his connection with the Heaven Net Earth Web and used Teleportation for the second ti.
Amidst a thunderous booming sound, the Heaven Net Earth Web was shattered from the front for the first ti, but i Yi and the eight also lost track of Ah Dai. Although they had broken through the solid-state energy of the Heaven Net Earth Web, the energy net containing massive energy still left the eight assassins reeling from the shock. At that mont, a trendous pressure suddenly appeared behind them, even more threatening than the Sword of Hades. The eight assassins swiftly turned around, with eight narrow swords pointed out, quickly setting up a defensive Barrier. Fifty ters behind them, Ah Dai stood expressionless, with a dark longbow appearing in his hands at so unknown ti, the bowstring pulled to a full moon. A glowing yellow-green Energy Arrow aid at i Yi, the imnse pressure emanating from the bow and arrow. The gleam in Ah Dai’s eyes intensified, the aura of the bow and arrow locked onto i Yi.
The enormous pressure left the assassins unable to move. They could distinctly feel the sharpness of the Energy Arrow, continuously channeling their internal energy, maintaining the black protective Defense Shield in front of them.
