Another person in The Imperial Palace of the Sunset Empire also sensed this surge of energy.

Byinlog, the chief court magician of the Sunset Empire, suddenly opened his eyes while ditating cross-legged. As one of the three Archmages on the continent outside the Holy See, skilled in Wind Magic, he held an exceptionally revered status within the Sunset Empire. Even the current Emperor of the Sunset Empire would show his respects and call him Master when eting him.

Byinlog furrowed his brow. Where was this magical energy fluctuation coming from? Could it be his court magicians practicing magic? No, that wasn’t right! They were usually in ditation at night. Could it be, could it be an enemy? A cold light flashed in Byinlog’s eyes. If it was an enemy, that would be great. He hadn’t had a chance to stretch his muscles in many years, as there were almost no worthy opponents for him. He couldn’t let this opportunity slip by. With that thought in mind, he floated down to the ground and, by virtue of his profound mastery in Wind Magic—the only magician on the continent capable of sustained flight—he drew his Magic Wand, the Staff of Hades, from a space rift. Closing his eyes, he recited a Wind Magic Spell, "Oh gentle breeze, follow my will, seek and explore." A faint green glow flashed on the Staff of Hades he held, the wind elents in the air stirred slightly, and a gentle breeze arose, slipping out through the crack in the window. The Staff of Hades was a birthday gift to Byinlog from the Emperor of the Sunset Empire twenty years ago, on his sixtieth birthday, purchased at a price of twenty million Gold Coins from a Master Alchemist who had retired many years ago. The Staff of Hades, with abilities close to a Divine Artifact and its Wind system attribute, made it beloved by Byinlog.

Byinlog focused all his mind and spirit on the exploring breeze that had drifted out. Under his powerful spiritual power, the breeze flew towards the direction where the energy fluctuation had been detected. The breeze slipped through the palace and drifted beyond the walls. For a magus of Byinlog’s caliber, controlling magic over such a distance was no feat at all. Under the action of the breeze, he was surprised to discover eighteen presences, among which five were exceptionally strong. Their energy fluctuations kept coming, as if they were chanting so spell. Suddenly, Byinlog’s body shook as an unimaginably vast energy burst forth from the center of those five powerful presences. The exploring breeze he had released, a level-four Wind Magic spell, was shattered by this massive energy, instantly losing the tracking of those five energy masses. Byinlog was shocked; it was the first ti his exploring breeze had been destroyed like this. He felt uneasy. What kind of magic was this, possessing such formidable energy? Without further pondering, he floated out of the room and swiftly released several signals with Wind Magic, notifying his subordinates. Then, focused and alert, he chanted his Defense Spell, prepared to intercept any magic attacks from the opposition at any mont.

A bright green orb of light suddenly rose from the direction where the energy had erged, causing Byinlog to startle. Each type of magic had its distinctive color: Water Elent spells were blue, Fire Magic spells were red, Earth Magic spells were yellow, Light Magic spells were white, high-level Holy Magic spells were gold, Dark Magic spells were black, and his own Wind Magic was pale blue. He had never seen this green magic before. Additionally, the more powerful the magic, the more significant its presence would usually be—why then did this Fireball Technique-sized magical orb emit such a trendous amount of energy? Although he could not comprehend it in theory, he still took appropriate asures, raising the Staff of Hades in his hand, Byinlog chanted, "Oh great Wind Elent! Heed my command, gathering before , use your furious energy to tear apart all obstacles, spin, Tornado Storm." The air’s wind elents furiously congregated around his wand, the pale blue glow clearly visible, while the surging wind elents violently spun. The level-six Wind Magic spell, Tornado Storm, quickly ford with the amplification of the Staff of Hades. Byinlog deliberately compressed the spell to the smallest possible size to unleash its maximum power, sending forth a tornado packed with a substantial amount of wind elents, greeting the erald-green orb flying towards the palace.

The pale blue tornado, with its extraordinary speed, soon caught up with the green orb of light. When the two energies collided, the green light seed to put up no resistance, piercing right through the tornado, slicing the sky, and shooting towards the far reaches of the palace, vanishing into the night.

Byinlog exclaid in disbelief, "Impossible." He felt his Tornado had flown right through the green orb without encountering any resistance and without any energy collision taking place, an occurrence his extensive magical knowledge couldn’t explain. Of course, he wasn’t arrogant enough to believe the green orb had been nullified by the tornado because of insufficient energy. The trajectory of the orb’s flight was clearly visible to him. "Not good," Byinlog shouted, summoning the wind elents in the air and rapidly flying towards the direction where the green orb had landed.

The green orb silently penetrated the ground, and it seed as if the entire palace gained an extra burst of vitality. Grass and trees rustled gently and then, as if rejuvenated with new life, began to grow rapidly. Whether flowers or trees, they all grew at a shocking rate; three to four-ter trees took rely a few blinks to surpass ten ters, while the flora continued to multiply wildly. The astonishing speed of growth stunned the patrolling soldiers. After reaching a certain size, the wildly growing plants began to act aggressively, attacking the surrounding soldiers. They did not harm people but hoisted them high into the air, and within monts, thousands of patrolling soldiers were attacked to varying degrees, most losing their ability to fight, their movents restrained by the rampantly expanding vegetation. Only so who reacted quickly or possessed profound skills could promptly cut down the attacking plants with their weapons, but the overwhelming vegetation showed no signs of stopping, attacking relentlessly.
