"Not yet, but if I hadn’t co out, you’d probably have sentenced on the spot. What’s so good about those won? They’ve been ssed with by who knows how many people, and I didn’t realize before that you had a lecherous streak. Hmph."

Yan Li raised his hands in surrender and said, "Big brother, please spare , I won’t dare to again. Ah! Let’s hurry, or we might not find Ah Dai." Saying this, he quickly ran inside. Yan Shi sighed helplessly; it seed he really had to keep a close watch on Yan Li, making absolutely sure he didn’t step out of line! Sotis, a misstep could change soone’s life forever.

The interior of Wealth Hall was even more luxurious than its facade, with floors completely covered in red carpets and walls adorned with crystal palace lamps. Beautiful maids moved continuously back and forth, their gorgeous appearances causing Yan Li’s eyes to dart around insatiably, these maids clearly outclassed the doorkeeper girls in terms of beauty. After entering, there was a circular hall of hundreds of square ters with a ceiling five ters high, embellished around by many plants, adding an elegant touch to the splendor. On each side, there was a staircase, obviously leading to the upper floors. Directly opposite was a golden door bearing a plaque that read "Wealth Hall." The door was tightly shut, preventing one from seeing inside.

Vatana explained to the three n, "Wealth Hall here spans four floors, basically integrating erotica and gambling. The first floor is where ordinary gamblers are, but they must exchange at least a thousand Gold Coins to enter; the second floor is for the wealthier individuals, with each exchange no less than ten thousand Gold Coins. The third floor is domain to the higher echelons of society such as Nobles or suprely wealthy individuals, along with so Alchemists and Magicians."

At his words, Ah Dai gasped, "What? Alchemists co to a place like this?"

Vatana nodded and said, "Yes! Alchemists are even more respected than Magicians. The items they produce can sell for very high prices, making them so of the wealthiest people on the continent. They are also so of the most esteed guests here, usually going straight to the third floor when they arrive."

Ah Dai secretly thought, Surely Master Goris wouldn’t co to a place like this. It was also his first ti here, and had it not been for Vatana ntioning that he lost hundreds of thousands here, Ah Dai would have never believed such a grand place was actually a den for siphoning money.

Vatana continued, "The fourth floor is seldom accessed by many, reserved only for those who can afford to spend heavily and have an extrely prestigious status. I’ve heard that it’s not a gambling place but rather like a hotel, providing a rest area for the most honored guests from the third floor. I’ve heard that up there, whatever you wish to do, Wealth Hall will accommodate it. There are many extraordinary young won available."

Yan Shi pondered and then asked, "Uncle, how much assets do you think Wealth Hall has?"

A rare glimr crossed Vatana’s eyes as he muttered, "Hard to say, but this property alone is probably worth tens of millions of Gold Coins. Their daily inco definitely doesn’t drop below a million Gold Coins, which by calculation, could match the tax revenue of an average town. However, I heard that about half of this inco has to be paid to Dark City, which, if not the wealthiest city on the continent, definitely ranks within the top three. Yet, not everyone in the city is wealthy; only the Nobles and tycoons are the true winners here, with even the scale of my forr ho not amounting to much. In the city’s wealthy district, many own fortunes exceeding ten million."

As everyone mulled over Vatana’s words, surprised by the situation in Dark City, they suddenly heard a sowhat sharp voice. "Ah! Vatana, you dare to co back? Saves the trouble of hunting you down. Today, if you don’t pay back the money, don’t even think about leaving here alive." A tall, skinny middle-aged man approached, followed by two robust bodyguards. Ah Dai sensed from the bodyguards’ aura that they both possessed considerable martial skills.

Upon seeing the middle-aged man, Vatana trembled all over, instinctively hiding behind Ah Dai. Ah Dai stepped forward and said, "Please don’t trouble Uncle Vatana, we are here to pay his debt."

The middle-aged man, upon seeing Ah Dai’s ornate Magician attire, was taken aback. Magicians were extrely rare in the Empire of Sunset City, and despite being well-traveled and knowledgeable, he couldn’t discern Ah Dai’s level. He politely said, "It turns out to be a Magician sir, I was brusque just now. Sir’s presence truly graces Wealth Hall!"

Ah Dai said, "Are you the owner here? We’ve co to pay Uncle Vatana’s debt."

The middle-aged man gave a slight smile and said, "Magician sir, my na is Jin Bo, I’m rely a steward, not the owner. Since you wish to pay Vatana’s debt, let’s talk in the back." With that, he gestured for Ah Dai to follow. Ah Dai looked back at Yan Shi, who nodded slightly to him.

Guided by Jin Bo, the four n entered a large room on the first floor of Wealth Hall. The room was ticulously decorated, the walls wrapped in ornate fabrics, featuring a large table in the center flanked by several broad sofas. Jin Bo said, "Please take a seat."

The sofa was soft and comfortable, almost making one feel engulfed by it. Once everyone was seated, Jin Bo walked behind the table, pulled out a neatly arranged docunt from a pile of papers, and said, "This is the IOU Mr. Vatana wrote when he borrowed money here, totaling fifteen thousand Gold Coins. As of now, with accumulated interest over three months, he owes forty-five thousand Gold Coins. Since you are here to help him pay it off, please proceed with the paynt."
