He is a character who had appeared in the ani. He is quite powerful. He can hack nos Grande at the Adjuchas level to death without even using his Shikai.

In order to prevent Ashido from sabotaging so of his future plans, Mazuru appeared on the stage at the right ti to save the special hollow by acting as if he had killed it.

In the hollow which was reconstituted by many white organizational structures, a crimson light flickered and then disappeared. This crimson light was very similar to the crimson light produced after Mazuru's liberation of Zanpakuto.
