The Oga was confused because his Alpha asked him to co to the bathroom while they were waiting for their food. But Axel showed her the bag of food in his hand, he was doing take away and not eating on the spot.

"We’re leaving, but through this window," he replied and opened the window in the bathroom.

"Why is that? There’s a door in front, we can go through the door instead of the window like thieves," Daren said, pointing to the bathroom door.

"Just follow my lead. Hurry out, you can climb, right?"

Daren nodded. "Yeah, take it easy, I’m trained for that."

He then jumped up, caught the edge of the window and climbed out through it. Axel followed although he was hesitant because the window looked small, but he made it through.

When they were finally outside, he quickly led Daren away from there to their resort house to pack.

"What’s the hurry? Aren’t we going ho tomorrow?" Daren asked confused.

"There are two people who have been following us. That’s why I told you to co to the bathroom. They won’t realize we’re running away for at least five minutes," Axel explained as he looked around.

"There are two people following us? That’s terrible! W-will we be in danger like that night? When our car was hit by them?"

Axel shook his head, he would make sure everything was okay if they moved quickly.

"I’ll protect you, you don’t have to worry." He tightened his grip on his hand and quickened their pace.

He planned to find a hotel closer to the station so that when they returned by train tomorrow, they would be at the station faster. Plus the station was quite far from the beach, so he could avoid those people.

"Unfortunately because of this, we won’t be able to see the sunset. You’re okay with that, right?"

"Of course! We’d rather leave than worry about the sunset on the beach! We can do that another ti, but safety is number one because you can’t get life twice!" replied Daren firmly.

The dark-haired Alpha smiled, seeing that his Oga was smart and unlike any other Oga he had ever t who would get sad, and start a drama that annoyed him.

"But this is our chance, we have to be able to see it even if it’s only for a mont. Isn’t there any other way?" It was a sentence that Axel rembered until now and he had to do unimportant things just because of a sight that he considered aningless.

They made the most of their ti by tidying up all their belongings quickly then went to the reception to return the key and left in a taxi.

"So far no one has followed us, but we’d better stay alert," Axel whispered.

"But who exactly are they? Why are they following us? Do they have anything to do with or you?" asked a very curious Daren.

From the very beginning when the accident happened, Daren was very curious about those people. Gunshots were everywhere and he vaguely realized that Axel was fighting against them.

But he never asked Axel about it because he was sure he wouldn’t want to answer.

"They..." Again his words trailed off because Axel couldn’t tell Daren who those people were.

He himself wasn’t sure who they were, but one thing he was sure of was that they were from the organization that wanted him. The sa organization that had blown up their car.

"I don’t know, maybe they’re the people I borrowed money from," he replied, looking for an excuse.

"You borrowed money from them and then ran away? No wonder they’re after you! How much did you borrow from them?"

"$10,000, I borrowed it to go to the bodyguard training and get the certificate. I was going to pay it back but I forgot."

"$10.000? Well that’s quite a lot, but I pay you $8,500 a month. Can’t you pay it off?"

He argued that they were multiplying the interest he owed by more than the money he had borrowed. That’s why he couldn’t pay it.

"That’s terrible! They did such a bad thing. You shouldn’t pay it. But they’ll keep coming after you," Daren said worriedly.

Seeing the Oga male’s reaction, Axel felt a little relieved that Daren believed his story. He would try to tell him soday if he could.

Finally they arrived at the hotel and checked in. Daren hoped the n would no longer follow them to the hotel.

But Axel was sure they would be back, he would remain vigilant especially when they were going ho on the train tomorrow. It would be a huge risk if sothing happened to Daren on the train tomorrow.

’His life is already a target for soone to kill him. Now they’re going to jeopardize it too? I’ll have to go the extra mile to protect what’s mine. And if they dare to touch him...’

Axel turned to Daren who was eating the food they bought earlier then looked at him too and smiled.

’I’ll kill them.’

The next day, Daren and Axel returned to North Zondalia by train. They sat in business class so as not to be crowded with other passengers.

"The trip will be short, maybe one to two hours by train. I hope nothing strange happens," Daren said, leaning back in his seat.

"Take it easy, even if they did, they wouldn’t do it here because there would be many witnesses. It could also cause a big commotion," he said trying to calm Oganya down.

He nodded in understanding and closed her eyes. Trusting his Alpha that everything would be okay.

The train ran for almost 45 minutes, and Daren started to feel the urge to pee right then and there. That’s why he stood up from his seat and intended to go to the bathroom for a while.

"I’m going to the toilet for a while, you just wait here," he said.

"I’ll co with you," Axel replied but Daren refused.

"You’d better stay here to look after our chairs and stuff. I left my jacket and glasses on the chair. I’m just going to make a quick trip to the bathroom up ahead anyway."

The blond-haired man went to the door of the carriage and saw the rest area and the bathroom before the door closed again.

Axel sat and kept his eyes on the door, waiting for his lover to return. But after 10 minutes, Daren didn’t return.

Worried, he stood up from his seat and headed for the bathroom section in front of him. He checked inside the bathroom and found that no one was there. Only one of Daren’s shoes was left behind.

"What?"
