Kill Me Protect Me, Mr. Bodyguard Chapter 63: Meet The Client

Axel went to a cafe to et the client who had given him the mission to kill Daren and he finally found out who it was.

He looked surprised, but being the professional that he is, Axel tried to mask his surprise at finding out who his client really was.

"Are you surprised by who I am, Mr. Bodyguard? I thought you were expecting it from the start," the man said as he looked at Axel with a smirk on his face.

"Not really, I’ve always been wary of everything around including you. I just don’t understand what you’re asking my agency to kill that Oga for," Axel replied.

He chuckled when he heard that. "Sotis what really happens is not what it seems. A lot of things actually happened between myself and the Wyne Family," he replied.

"So?"

The client said that his only intention was to achieve his goal of reclaiming Marabella after what the Wyne Family had done to his family. But he felt that Daren was an obstacle that Marabella could have passed down to him.

"Your goal of having it was already achieved, wasn’t it? Even because of you, that Oga is not recognized as part of his own family," said an annoyed Axel while narrowing his eyes, but he tried not to show any emotion.

"It’s true, it’s also thanks to you giving him too much hope. It makes him even more rebellious because he knows soone is there for him, and that’s you."

Hearing that, Axel couldn’t deny the fact that he was always by Daren’s side when he was in trouble.

From their conversation, Axel realized that Daren was no longer needed. Dead or alive, he would have no effect on the Wyne Family at all since Barney no longer cared about his existence.

"So that ans, you can just let him go, right? There’s no point in him dying later. You already got what you wanted," Axel said seriously.

From the way he spoke, he was holding out hope that Daren would survive and he wouldn’t have to kill the Oga, even though he wouldn’t be able to see the man again after his mission was deed complete.

"Who’s to say that his death has no aning at all?" the client asked Axel while looking at him with a very cold gaze.

He was sick of seeing how Daren was happy on top of his suffering all this ti. When he lost everything, a man nad Daren should still be happy living his life. He didn’t want that to happen and wanted those who were no longer important to him to be eliminated.

"Why let a useless Oga like him live? To happily enjoy his life? No. I’m sick of seeing how he smiles, laughs and how he lives as if nothing is happening. I want the most painful death for him," the man explained.

Axel frowned when he heard that, his client still wanted to continue the mission and wanted Daren to die under the most painful circumstances. He knew that it wasn’t really necessary, but his client still wanted the death of the Oga.

"Are you sure? Even after it turns out he’s no longer useful and won’t get in your way?" asked Axel, trying to persuade his client to change his mind.

But that only made the client pause and then turn his body slightly towards the Alpha.

"Don’t try to negotiate with . I’ve already warned you not to have feelings with Daren, but did you actually do it so you’re trying to negotiate with ?" he asked in a cold tone.

"No, I have no intention of doing that." Axel looked the other way and thought there was no other way.

"Good, then wait for my next ssage. I guess I’ll talk to you directly next ti."

After eting with the client, Axel went to Daren’s room and saw that the Oga was still fast asleep, considering it was two in the morning.

He sat on the edge of the bed, looking at how peacefully Daren slept. It also made him feel at ease knowing that Daren was not having a nightmare.

"Right... Stay like this and sleep peacefully. Don’t rember the bad things in the past that haunt your sleep," he said as he rubbed his head.

Speaking softly as well as touching, was not the style for Axel who always looked serious and indifferent to anything.

However, ever since he t Daren and was assigned to stay with him, Axel had suddenly beco a different person. Soone who finally understood the feeling of seeing Daren with him.

While gently rubbing Daren’s face, the man slowly opened his eyes and saw Axel. He was still very sleepy, so he didn’t know if it was a dream or not.

"Mnnn... Dreaming with Axel again? What will he do this ti?" he said quietly while rubbing his eyes.

"You’re awake," Axel said.

"Yeah, why does it feel so real? It’s still a dream, right?"

Daren looked at Axel with a very sleepy gaze. He rubbed his head to fall back asleep. "It’s still too late, go back to sleep."

"In this dream, you didn’t kiss ? Usually you always do," said Daren who still didn’t realize that it wasn’t a dream.

Axel chuckled when he heard it. "You always dream of kissing you? Well..."

He touched the chin of the still-lying Daren, then bent his body to kiss the man’s lips. The kiss was deep and warm, without Daren realizing it wasn’t a dream.

’I know it’s stupid, but I can’t resist what I want when I’m with him all this ti,’ Axel thought.

He felt Daren’s lips return the kiss even though it was so weak that he finally let go.

"Are you satisfied? Go back to sleep and go to your next dream."

"Mnnn..." Daren closed his eyes again and fell asleep with a smiling face.

He looked happier than usual, which made Axel smile slightly at how the Oga didn’t notice at all.

His heart was beating so fast because he finally recognized Daren’s feelings for him.

However, slowly his smile faded, realizing that Daren was about to face such a painful death. Killed by soone he loved.

His eyes dropping, Axel stares at the Oga’s face as he slowly grits his teeth.

"I won’t let... I won’t let anyone take you away from . No matter the mission I have to do..."

"I will protect my Oga."
