Kill Me Protect Me, Mr. Bodyguard Chapter 42: You’re Shameless!

Barney slapped Daren angrily and pointed at his son’s face.

"You troublemaker! What kind of trouble did you get into this ti that you got into this accident, huh?! I knew this was one of your attention-seeking ideas!" he shouted.

"M-Mr. Barney, Daren couldn’t have done it!" Ivan tried to defend Daren by pulling his boss’ arm away, but Barney just ordered Ivan to keep quiet.

"Can’t you just not make trouble for this family for once!? Every ti you do sothing stupid again and again! Are you trying to drive crazy?!"

Seeing Daren getting slapped and angry by Barney, Axel’s emotions beca uncontrollable. How could a father yell and even slap his son who was injured and had just been in an accident?

His pheromones instantly ca out, creating a very tense aura around them. His hands were clenched so tightly that even the veins were visible.

Sensing Axel’s nacing pheromones, Barney scolded him and also released the sa pheromones. It’s just that his pheromones weren’t as strong as Axel’s which seed that with that pheromone alone, he could kill anyone.

"How dare you release your pheromones! Who do you think you are?! I’m the Master of this house, it’s not appropriate for you to release your pheromones on !!" he snapped at Axel.

However, Axel was silent and stared intently at Barney. He walked over to him with his big and tall body, standing in front of the middle-aged man.

"How dare you scold him when Daren was injured in an accident. Do you think that accident was self-inflicted?! You think... he did it on purpose?! It almost killed himself!" Axel asked back angrily and suppressed every word he said.

"You! You raised your voice at ?! Do you want to fire you right now, huh?!"

Barney pointed at Axel’s face while raging and threatening to fire him.

When Axel was about to retaliate again, Daren’s hand tugged on his sleeve. As if asking him to stop, he himself was affected by the two Alphas’ pheromones. To his relief, Axel stood up for him. But he also didn’t want to lose the man for defending him.

"Enough... Stop it... I just want to go back to my room..." he pleaded with labored breath and half tears.

"Daren, let help you..." Ivan grabbed Daren’s arm, intending to help his good friend since he wasn’t affected in any way, considering he was a Beta.

But Daren pushed Ivan’s hand away from him. He brought himself closer to Axel, and begged to leave.

Seeing this situation, Axel tried to temper his anger and then touched the Oga’s head.

"Yes, I understand." He lifted Daren’s body bridal style, as Daren looked very limp, then carried him away towards the elevator.

"Don’t you dare to leave! I’m not done with you two yet, if you dare to take one step away, I’m really going to fire you!" Barney didn’t seem to want to stop scolding the two of them and wanted to continue venting his anger.

Axel’s steps stopped and he turned to Barney and Ivan in turn.

"Aren’t you no longer considering him and more proud of that Beta? I don’t care if you fire , I don’t work for you but for Daren," he replied with a cold tone and a sharp gaze.

The Alpha then continued his way into the elevator to take Daren to his room.

In the room, Daren seed unwilling to let go of his embrace with Axel. He was snuggling up to him, even as he sat on the bed.

Finally, he let go of the bodyguard and let Axel see his cheeks that were reddened by Barney’s hard slap.

"It looks a bit bruised, that old man really has no heart, even for his own flesh and blood," he comnted with an annoyed growl.

"I guess my face is just too good a target for him," Daren laughed softly even though it sounded extrely painful.

Daren’s laughter made Axel even more upset, how could he laugh in a situation like this? Even masking his pain with that stupid laugh.

But he couldn’t possibly add to Daren’s sadness by scolding him too.

"Stop it, you want to look really pathetic," he said as he wiped Daren’s tears with his fingers.

"You shouldn’t have defended , if Dad really fires you, you won’t get the money you need!"

"You think that’s important right now? I don’t even understand what your father is thinking in his head right now! I feel like opening that head of his and seeing what’s inside." Axel snorted in annoyance as he said all that.

Daren chuckled at how angry Axel was at his father’s treatnt of him. He should have been the one feeling angry, but Axel got angry first.

"Ahahaha... You’re so funny. You don’t need to get angry about this," he laughed.

He gasped when he saw Daren laughing at him, this ti the laughter seed genuine and not the pathetic laughter like before.

A faint smile appeared on the Alpha’s face, seeing how Daren was laughing again.

"Anyway... It’s not just because you need the money that I don’t want you fired, you know?"

"And what else?" asked Axel.

Turning to him, Daren then replied, "I don’t want to lose you. I don’t want another bodyguard, I just want to be with you!"

Axel was silent as soon as he heard that answer, he did not expect that he would get an answer where Daren only wanted to be with him.

Those words just seed to wake sothing up in Axel.

Possessiveness...

The feeling of wanting to have him completely and not wanting to let him go.

Feelings he shouldn’t have for that Oga, but he couldn’t fight the will of nature. When an Alpha is ultimately attracted to the Oga who has always been with him.

Daren’s blue eyes stared into his, waiting expectantly for his answer to never leave him and to stay by his side.

His hand reached for Daren’s head and rubbed it lightly.

"I’ll stay here with you."

A smile appeared on Daren’s face, he was very happy when he heard it.

"I believe in you, Axel!"

When Daren had fallen asleep, as usual Axel went over to check if the man was really asleep or not. And it appeared that Daren was indeed fast asleep.

He continued to stare at the Oga’s face and slowly touched the man’s neck as if he was going to strangle him with one hand. Daren’s innocent face made Axel feel difficult to strangle that neck and kill him.

’What’s happening to ? Why can’t I do it? I should have been able to kill him easily. I should have...’

He took his hand away from his neck and turned to leave Daren’s room.
