Kill Me Protect Me, Mr. Bodyguard Chapter 22: It’s All My Fault

In an uncontrollable situation, Daren called Ivan to co and bring him so suppressants. At a ti like that, Ivan was the only one he could turn to for help.

Given that Ivan is a Beta Male who will not be affected by Daren's or Axel's pheromones later. Plus he knew about the suppressant that Daren always took whenever he got his heat.

Within 30 minutes, Ivan finally ca to the hotel room where Daren and Axel were. Fortunately, the floor was not crowded, or quiet. So there was no one to report the commotion and Noah certainly didn't dare report it to the hotel.

"Where's Daren?" asked Ivan with concern when he heard about his good friend's condition.

"He's in the bathroom," replied a calr Axel.

The Beta male glanced at the Alpha's hand, and saw the blood flowing from it. "You're hurt, did you do it on purpose?"

"It's better than losing control and biting him. You take care of him, don't mind ," he replied again and walked away from the bathroom.

Knock knock

Ivan knocked on the bathroom door, saying that he had co with suppressant for Daren. Carrying a bottle of water, he went inside and saw his friend sitting limply on the toilet.

"Oh my... Is it that bad this ti?" he asked as he wiped the sweat from Daren's forehead with his handkerchief.

"Yeah, their pheromones are so strong that they drive crazy and I can't do anything," Daren replied in a weak voice.

He then took the suppressant that was brought for him and waited until his heat had completely subsided to get out of the bathroom.

"I told you not to follow your curiosity, Daren. Did you forget how this happened once and happened again?"

The blond man nodded his head, understanding what Ivan was telling him. He knew the saying 'Curiosity killed the cat' and it had happened again to Daren.

"I'm sorry, I just... Huft..."

Ivan's hand rubbed Daren's head, trying to calm him down. He then waited outside to talk to Axel who was sitting on the edge of the bed sighing softly.

"Axel, I think it's best if Daren cos ho with . He'll be safe in the car with later. Even though the heat has died down, he can't be near Alpha first, right?"

"I don't know, but I think so. His heat might be provoked again later. Alright, I'll follow you from behind. Make sure your car is okay," the Alpha replied.

After Daren got better, they quickly left the hotel and headed back to the mansion. Now Axel only had to face the Master to report what had happened to his son.

This would put him at risk, as he would be seen as neglecting Daren. However, Daren himself would also incur the wrath of his father for still trying to see Noah without their knowledge.

'I have to think of a way to do this, a way that minimizes the risk to and him but will incriminate the damn Alpha,' Axel thought.

The Oga male was eventually handled by the maids so as not to trigger any more heat from Daren, considering they were the Betas. Mike looked very worried, but he couldn't approach Daren for now.

"What exactly happened, Mr. Axel? Did he..."

The dark-haired man nodded his head, saying all this was related to the senior actor. He told Mike everything that happened and asked the man to help him tell their Master so that Noah would not roam free after what he did to Daren.

Hearing the chronology of events, Mike beca furious and he would help Axel to report this.

"After what he did to the young master, I can't just let it go. He must be caught and punished! But what about you? You too must have gotten the rut when you were around the young master, right?"

The man was silent as he heard Mike's question to him, he then rembered about what he did to Daren. Kissing, crushing his lips and even kissing the Oga's neck hungrily.

But there was no way he could admit all that to the butler, Mike would curse him on the spot.

"Yes, I was affected for a while. But I can handle it." He showed him his arm where he had wrapped a bandage but the blood marks were still visible.

"Oh my, you're doing it too hard, Mr. Axel. I'll have a maid treat it properly. You rest in your room, the rut is very draining. Young master will be taken care of," he said as he patted Axel's shoulder.

At first the man looked hesitant to leave Daren's room, he stared at the door of the Oga's room for a mont before finally going to his own room to recover himself and his mind after what happened.

In the middle of the night, Daren woke up after he had fallen asleep due to being too weak and exhausted. Heat really made Oga feel tired and in pain if he held back his desires without being able to mating.

He still rembered how it happened when Noah attacked him and he almost got abused by the predator. Luckily Axel ca and saved him.

'He... Kissed , I... Can still feel his hungry kiss on my lips. He took my first kiss,' he thought with a flushed face while touching his own lips.

His eyes closed for a mont rembering all that, sending chills down his spine.

Daren was startled by the sound of paper being turned over, he got up from his bed and saw Axel who was sitting on a chair by the door as he always did while reading a book in his hand.

"You're here..."

"Yeah, how are you?" Axel asked then looked at Daren, he stood up from his chair and put down his book.

"I'm feeling better, how about you?"

"I feel better too, and I hope you've learned from your mistakes." He folded his arms in front of his chest as he stood near his young master.

Of course he had to admit that he was wrong for eting Noah and lying to Axel just for that. He regretted having done such a foolish thing.

"I'm sorry, this is all my fault. I just wanted to know the answer, and I know very clearly and I regret it. Next ti I'll trust you more," Daren said in a regretful tone.

"Good, now you need to prepare yourself for what's coming. Your father, maybe the dia and others," Axel said and Daren nodded his head.

"I understand, and... Thank you for saving . You ca at the right ti."

The Alpha simply said that it was his job as a bodyguard to protect Daren. So he was just doing it for the sake of his job.

Daren knew that, but sohow he felt a bit disappointed at Axel's casual attitude after what had happened between the two of them.

'What were you thinking, Daren? That kiss was nothing and it happened because he got rutted, what did you expect, you idiot!' he thought to himself.

However, apart from that there was still one thing that puzzled him that had just occurred to him.

"How did you know that I was in that hotel?"
