Arriving ho, Victor imdiately laid Daren down on his bed so that he could rest more comfortably. anwhile, Mike went straight to the backyard to sit and text Louis.
He rembered what Victor had told him about Aiden who would also be after the Oga.
"You’d better take good care of him because I’m sure Aiden will be after him too. It’s even worse if he tries to get rid of the Oga so you can be his," Victor had said when they were in the car earlier.
That line kept running through Mike’s head because he was worried that sothing would happen to Louis. They had just t, and it would feel so bad for him if Aiden was really targeting Louis.
"Why didn’t he say from the start that the risk of this happening would be huge and affect Louis too. Now I really feel bad if sothing does happen to him," Mike muttered.
In the midst of his worries, he received a text ssage back from Louis saying that he had just arrived at his flower shop and was just finishing reopening it.
Knowing that, Mike felt a little more relieved that Louis was able to arrive at his flower shop safely. But that didn’t an he would be completely safe alone there.
[MIKE]
May I have the address of your flower shop?
[MIKE]
I might want to stop by for a while or maybe keep you company there.
[LOUIS]
Oh sure, I’ll share the location with you.
Louis always gave Mike the location of his flower shop. This made him feel good because if sothing happened, he could go straight there to et him.
While he was exchanging ssages with Louis, Victor ca and asked for his cell phone. "Give your cell phone there’s sothing I want to do."
"What do you want to do with my cell phone? Is it sothing important," Mike asked.
"Yes, it’s a very important thing and I should have done it since I knew Aiden was after you."
Feeling confused and heavy-hearted, Mike gave Victor his cell phone and Victor imdiately opened it. Mike asked that the phone not be reset or anything that would take away from its contents as it had a lot of Daren’s work schedule on it.
However, Victor was seen setting up sothing on Mike’s phone which made him feel worried that everything related to Daren’s work would be lost.
Until suddenly the dark-haired alpha male pried open Mike’s cell phone which made him surprised and even tried to snatch it.
"What are you trying to do?! Don’t break my phone like that! Everything on it is very important for Daren’s work!" he scolded Victor.
"You better shut up and let do my job," he replied in a cold tone and then he seed to remove sothing from inside Mike’s phone.
Of course he was confused about what small object Victor took from his cell phone. He knew that it was neither the mory card nor the sim card that was removed but a small black box attached to the battery.
"I guessed there was sothing like this in your phone. If he didn’t install any programs, it ans there’s a small chip in your phone," Victor said, imdiately destroying the small object.
"What is that thing? I’ve never seen it before and I don’t rember my phone having anything like that on it," Mike asked curiously.
"It’s a tracking chip that Aiden must have installed so he could know where you’ve been. That’s why that bastard Alpha knew where you were until now. And I forgot that I should have realized this earlier."
It was a shock to Mike to learn that a tracking device had been installed on his cell phone. Victor explained that he himself had installed a program on Daren’s phone to implant a tracker so that he would know where the man was. But if it couldn’t be installed inside the phone then it would be installed in the battery using the chip.
And given how Aiden was an agent like Victor, it was clear that he knew how to install the thing and had it.
"And like I said, he’ll target your Oga because he can find out all the information on the people he needs. It’s easy for him to gather all of that and it won’t take him long to figure out where your Oga is," Victor explained.
"Then what should I do to keep Louis safe? I don’t know what to do because even if I stay away from him, I’m sure Aiden will still be after him, right?"
"That’s definitely going to happen. He’ll know that you’re trying to stay away from Louis just to avoid him. There’s only one way you can keep Louis away from Aiden."
"What’s that? I need your advice on this. Since only you know Aiden’s habits, you might be able to help ."
"Of course by trying to protect your Oga. You should be able to get closer and bond with Louis which will build up your alphas to protect him. And I’m sure then your alpha side will rise again with the desire to be able to protect what you have," Victor replied explaining this to Mike.
Hearing his answer, Mike felt that what Victor said was true. Most Alphas can be very possessive when it cos to their oga, and that’s when their alpha side will always wake up to be able to protect their oga.
And perhaps this is what it ant for Mike to have an Oga for himself to bond with that Oga until he wouldn’t let go and his alpha side would wake up whenever he felt his Oga was threatened.
"I’ll try to do my best. Louis looks cute and suits well anyway. There are a lot of things that I like about him and maybe things will work out," Mike said.
However, he did ask where Victor and Daren were when he and Louis were talking. They didn’t seem to be at the table they were supposed to be at in the cafe.
Victor only explained that Daren had wanted to try the food at another shop nearby. He didn’t say that Daren seed jealous or unhappy with Mike getting along with Louis.
The man just nodded in understanding, and trusted Victor because for now he was the only man he could trust.
"Okay, I understand."
The days went on as usual, with Mike looking more excited because he finally found the Oga he wanted. His own Oga with blonde hair and a very sweet face like Daren.
Sotis he was still in doubt, whether he really liked his oga or because he looked like Daren. With blonde hair, a sweet face even though their eyes looked different.
However, he convinced himself that it was Louis and not Deren that he liked.
"Next week I will start traveling on missions again. But this ti it’s quite far because it’s outside of Zondalian. I will go to Dormania and carry out my mission there," Victor said.
"Dormania? Isn’t that a country known to be largely controlled by the mafia?" asked Daren.
The entire country was familiar with the huge country of Dormania which was mostly controlled by the mafia even though they still had a governnt. However, the mafia there did not make a big fuss like most mafias in other countries.
"That’s right, I think I’ll be dealing with one of their groups according to the assignnt I got. Maybe I’ll go into one of their groups and kill their leader."
Hearing this, Daren certainly felt very worried because it was clear that the mafia was known to be very dangerous. Even though he knew Victor was a professional, there was no telling what would happen.
Moreover, mafia groups were usually held by several family mbers who were known as powerful dominant Alphas.
"No need to worry about , think about you two, because I’m sure Aiden will still be on the loose. I’ll ask Wilfred to keep an eye out in my absence. He won’t always be around. But he can make sure that Aiden doesn’t get close," Victor explained even though he himself was still doubtful if Wilfred could handle Aiden.
His absence is not that long, at least until he manages to gain trust and carry out the desired tasks. He could have done it quickly, but his current opponent was a mafia group that would definitely be very suspicious of anyone.
"Can’t you ask for another assignnt? I an there must be many other missions you can take. I don’t want you to die quickly just because of a mission like that!"
"It’s much better than having to do an easy mission like teaching that damn Oga two months ago. I would prefer a mission like this over sothing like that," he replied.
They all had no choice but to try to protect themselves from getting into bigger trouble, especially when it ca to a man like Aiden.
Seeing that Daren was still worried, Victor pulled him into his arms and kissed his oga’s forehead.
"I’m not going to die that easily and you’d better not think that’s going to happen."
