Kill Me Protect Me, Mr. Bodyguard Chapter 101: Unexpected News

A ginger-haired man ca and stood in front of the door, staring intently at Axel who was in front of him at the mont, while Daren hid behind him.

"You... How dare you kidnap Young Master!" he said irritably, glaring at Axel when he saw him open the door this ti.

"How did you know my house, huh? Did you pay soone to look into my place?" asked Axel as he folded his arms across his chest.

Mike gritted his teeth and grabbed Axel by the collar and pulled him closer. His face looked so angry but Axel’s face was still flat staring at Mike who was pulling his collar at the mont.

Thinking that there would be a fight between them, Daren imdiately stopped the two of them and separated them.

"Wait wait, stop it! Let’s not fight, okay? I’m fine here, at least better than before and can we talk about this first?" he asked the two of them.

He asked Axel for permission to let Mike co in and explain everything. The man sighed and released Mike’s grip from his collar.

"Do as you please, but don’t talk too much," he replied and walked inside.

Daren nodded and took Mike into the living room to talk about everything that had happened with Axel there. He explained about Ivan’s cri, where the man was only pretending until Axel was sent to kill him, but in the end he was saved.

Of course, everything Daren said shocked Mike and he couldn’t believe what he was saying. All this ti Daren had been under the watchful eye of soone who intended to kill him. Even over the years, his best friend who Mike even knew, hated Daren.

"I... I didn’t realize all that. I’m sorry, Young Master. I didn’t realize all those things. I..."

"Hey, it’s not your fault either. After all, I was the one who trusted Ivan too much all this ti and the truth is that he’s not as good as I knew. I an Axel saved in the end too, so he’s not entirely at fault either," Daren explained as he patted Mike’s shoulder.

The butler felt guilty for not being able to keep Daren out of danger. He could sense sothing was off about Ivan and Axel. But he didn’t have the courage to express it.

"So you don’t have to feel angry at Vic anymore... I an Axel, he’s not as bad as you think. He’s really protecting . Can you not be mad at him anymore?" he asked Mike.

Since Daren had asked him, he nodded his head. He promised not to be mad at the Alpha anymore and trust him from now on.

"But... Are you sure you can’t go back to the mansion right now?" Mike asked.

"I can’t go ho as long as my wounds aren’t healed. Moreover, Ivan is there, I have to do sothing to get rid of him before he gets rid of again," he replied.

"He’s right, that damn Beta will be all over him if he finds out that Daren is alive and will probably send soone else to eliminate him. I can’t spend 24 hours with him anymore," Axel explained to Mike which made Mike worried.

He seed to want to say sothing, but he still felt hesitant about it. Daren, realizing this, asked Mike to be more open with him and tell him what he knew.

Feeling that Daren should know this, he finally told the man about Barney’s decision to make Ivan his adopted son and he was the only person who would inherit the entire Wyne family fortune.

"Master wanted Ivan to be his son because he trusted him so much. During Marabella’s birthday banquet this year, he will announce everything. Of course Madam doesn’t agree with this, but no one can go against Master. If you don’t co back, everything Wyne has will belong to Ivan," Mike explained.

Now Daren was shocked by the news that Mike had brought, he didn’t expect that his father would believe in Ivan so much and would give everything to a man who even planned to destroy their family.

However, Axel said sothing that made Mike and Daren realize that it was pointless for Daren to return to the mansion and stop all that.

"Daren’s presence or absence won’t affect anything. Since when did that old bastard listen to or even care about his son? Even if Daren tried to stop it by revealing all the facts, he’d be labeled a liar because the man wouldn’t believe him," Axel explained.

What he said was true, Mike realized that but he couldn’t let soone like Ivan win by owning all of the Wyne Family’s wealth. If it was Marabella he wanted, Mike would probably think that Ivan just wanted to take it back.

"But if it’s the whole thing... He’ll do terrible things to your family, Young Master," he said.

"Yes, I understand. I have to do sothing before that happens. I need to get my mom out of there and you get your dad away from my dad, Mike. I know your father is very loyal, but it’s all for their own good," Daren replied as he bit his thumb nervously.

The three of them discussed with each other until Daren finally ca up with a solution that would at least keep him, his mom and Mike out of trouble.

"When the banquet takes place, I’ll take my mother away from there. I’ll look for a suitable house that we can live in later. That way we won’t get caught up in his problems, and go to hell together," Daren explained.

"Running away is not a good solution, you have to face what’s in front of you," Axel comnted. "But, I agree with you. There’s nothing to do but let that old bastard get his karma alone."

"But, Master will definitely look for you and Madam, Young Master. You will also be dragged into the sa trouble if Ivan does sothing to him that ruins the good na of the Wyne Family," said Mike who looked doubtful about Daren’s decision at that mont.

However, it appeared on his face that Daren was already planning sothing about this. With a serious face he answered his butler’s doubts.
