VOID
Sowhere amongst the stars, far beyond comprehension, in a realm that defied ti, space, and reason. A massive face hovered in the emptiness. It was the face of a child, enormous in scale, yet unmistakably mischievous in its grin.
His large, curious eyes sparkled with chaotic glee as he peered down at a strange collection of glowing orbs floating around him like cosmic marbles.
Each marble was a world, so glowing bright with vibrant life, others cracked or dim with decay. Yet all were part of a ga, a ga only he understood.
"Let's see who will win the ultimate prize!" the huge childish face spoke, his voice echoing across the stars like laughter carried on a galactic wind.
His expression shifted to one of interest. "Well, a normal otaku this ti…huh?"
He leaned closer, as if examining one of the marbles more carefully, his grin stretching wider. "It's you then!"
The mont was sealed, and in that eternal, floating void, fate was chosen with a giggle and a pointed finger.
…
Earth
In a small apartnt nestled on the 8th floor of an aging building, the glow of a computer screen lit up a dim, cluttered room. Posters of ani characters lined the walls, stacks of manga and ga cases littered the desk, and empty ran cups sat as proud trophies of all-nighters spent grinding through digital worlds.
A teenage boy sat hunched forward, eyes locked on his screen with a twitch of fury in every movent. His fingers smashed the keyboard with growing frustration, his mouth muttering curses under his breath.
And then—
Crack!
The boy's patience finally snapped. He stood abruptly, grabbed his entire PC tower, and hurled it against the wall with a guttural yell.
"Malenia, you b**ch!!" he scread, his voice echoing off the walls, twisted with rage. His face was a mix of betrayal and exhaustion, the face of soone who had lost to a boss far too many tis.
As he paced in agitation, trying to calm his breathing, a faint sound caught his attention—a strange noise, low and rumbling, like a car engine. Confused, he turned his head toward the window, eyes narrowing.
It was getting louder.
He stepped closer, curiosity slowly overtaking his frustration. But before he could reach the glass, the entire window exploded inward with a deafening crash.
His eyes widened in horror.
A minivan—yes, an actual, goddamn minivan—burst through the window like a scene from an action movie gone wrong. Stranger still, it seed to have…a face? A smiling one?
"Your free trial on Earth has now expired!!" the minivan spoke, yes, spoke in a mocking, gloating tone, its front grill curled like a sneer.
Then—
BOOM.
The world shattered.
Pain exploded through the teen's body as he was slamd with unnatural force, flung across the room like a ragdoll. He lay crumpled amid debris, vision flickering, yet sohow—still conscious.
"It's the damn 8th floor! Where did this fu*king minivan co from!?" he muttered, teeth clenched as blood trickled from his mouth. His voice was hoarse, but defiant, as he glared weakly at the smug vehicle embedded in his wall.
…
VOID
Silence. Cold and endless.
The boy no longer had a body. His form now glowed softly—a ghostly, pearlescent white. A soul. His outline shimred faintly in the emptiness of the void, surrounded by stars and distant planets floating like lanterns in an eternal night.
He stared at his glowing hands, flexing ghostly fingers that passed through themselves. No pain. No weight. Only an odd sense of clarity.
Far ahead, he spotted sothing impossible—a giant child lounging on a gold throne, legs swinging as he adjusted an oversized roulette wheel beside him. The throne floated in midair, absurdly regal for soone who looked like they hadn't finished kindergarten.
The giant child glanced his way, eyes lighting up as he noticed the newcor.
Then, as if realizing he was being watched, the child cleared his throat, sat up straighter, and attempted to strike a majestic pose. The effect was…questionable at best.
"Ahem, welco to my ho, lost soul. What brings you here?" the child said with a mock-serious tone, voice deepened as if trying to sound adult.
The boy's soul floated closer, blinking. "Didn't you bring here?" he asked flatly, eyebrows raised.
The child flinched. Caught.
"Haaa!? It wasn't —you wandered here yourself! Why would I bring so random soul into my house?" the child huffed, his cheeks puffed out like he'd been wronged.
The teen, now calm despite everything, could tell imdiately: this so-called god or ROB—Random Omnipotent Being—was trying (and failing) to be intimidating. It was obvious he was imitating how grown-ups talk.
But honestly, the teen didn't care. After the minivan incident and his very literal death, calm was all he could manage.
"Well, it seems I wandered here. Sorry for intruding," he replied politely, watching the giant child throw a mini tantrum before settling down.
"Ahem, you're forgiven," the child muttered, sulking slightly but recovering quickly.
He tilted his head, studying the glowing soul. "Aren't you afraid? You died in such a grueso death, yet you're still calm."
"I am scared of death," the teen admitted quietly. "But here…it seems I can't feel fear at all."
The child's eyes widened for a mont. "Does this place have that effect? How co Dad didn't tell …?" he mumbled under his breath, then suddenly lit up. A golden glow flickered in his eyes.
"Well! Of course, you don't feel fear—I made this place that way! You mortals always panic when you die, so I fixed it!" he declared smugly, puffing out his chest like it was all part of the plan.
"But enough of that!" he said with a clap. "Since you're here, it's naturally my job to give you sothing and reincarnate you. Souls shouldn't be lingering around here."
With a wide grin, he pulled the enormous roulette wheel closer and spun it dramatically. "This roulette will determine where you'll go, and what wishes I can give you."
"Though only three!" he added, holding up three fingers.
"Okay," the teen nodded.
"Okay then! Co on, spin it!" The child was practically bouncing, excitent radiating from him. It was his first reincarnation job, and he really hoped his dad was watching.
The teen floated forward and gave the roulette a firm spin. It whirred loudly, symbols and words flashing past in a blur of colors. Ti stretched.
The teen frowned and looked at the child, confused. "Uh…"
"Oh right—you need to say 'stop!'" The child said, scratching his head.
"Stop," the teen said simply.
The wheel slamd to a halt, landing on a large red segnt.
"Naruto world! Nice for you… If it weren't for the aliens involved," the child muttered, frowning. "Would've been good otherwise."
The teen just rolled his eyes at the pitying tone. Tough luck, he thought—but he said nothing and moved on to the second spin.
"Stop," he said again after a few seconds.
The pointer landed on a large gray space: Transmigration – Kakashi Hatake.
The teen's eyes lit up in surprise.
"Ohhh, it's Kakashi Hatake? You're very lucky!" the child exclaid, clearly impressed. "You got the Copy Ninja—one of the coolest."
With a nod, the teen gave the wheel one final spin. Colors blurred once more.
"Stop," he said.
The roulette halted, landing neatly on a deep blue section.
