Chapter 2288: Chapter 2288: Trapped in Ti

So many Cannibal Players?

The swallowing sounds made the new players wary, but when they saw the numbers on so of these people’s bare backs, they suddenly understood—it’s not that these people are Cannibal Players, but they are too hungry!

"Can’t open the personal panel! And the baggage compartnt won’t open either!" soone imdiately said.

"Is there no food here?"

"How could it be! Didn’t those who played the ga before eat their own food?"

"Is the ga we’re entering now different from before?"

The other players in the room were obviously used to it. They looked at the new players who were panicking with indifference and mockery, as if laughing at them and at their forr selves.

"If you want to live a bit longer, you’d better start conserving your energy now." A female player in the corner finally spoke up. "No matter how loudly you make a fuss, food won’t just appear, and you can’t leave either."

"What’s really going on here?" a new player quickly asked, "Has the ga not started yet? Are there any hints?"

"No hint, nothing at all." The female player seed to lack the patience to get involved with them and pointed to the room’s only exit—the door. "If you want to know, go out and see for yourselves."

Several players couldn’t help but exchange glances, worrying it might be a trap, so none of them moved.

The female player, without even the mood to mock them, turned away and closed her eyes, appearing very tired.

Xu Huo walked over, handed her an Energy Candy Cube, and asked, "How long have you been here?"

The female player, catching the scent of food, imdiately grabbed it, and without even peeling off the wrapper, shoved it directly into her mouth. Busy chewing, she couldn’t speak, but still kept her eyes fixed on Xu Huo.

"Brother, do you have any more? Give

a bit," another player next to them moved closer, swallowing his saliva, "You can ask

whatever you want to know."

Xu Huo reached into his pocket and then said, "Sadly, there’s only one. I thought I’d be able to eat the food I brought even after entering the ga, didn’t expect this situation."

That player’s disappointnt was evident, and he turned his gaze back to the chewing female player, his eyes turning green with the candy’s fragrance as he suddenly lunged at her, disregarding the others and tried to bite her mouth!

"Thud!" But the female player wasn’t to be underestimated, kicking him away. She forcefully pursed the wrapped package in her mouth before spitting it out, though she didn’t throw it away but put it in her own pocket.

This scene shocked the new players, even among Cannibal Players, such disgraceful acts were rare beyond the initial review or before the initial review. What’s more, these were normal players, whose physical enhancents after Evolution made them more tolerant to hunger, thirst, and extre temperatures. So even in instances lacking food and water, players could last for a period without losing their sanity. However, the people in this room clearly seed starved to madness!

Starving to death... this thod of dying long forgotten by players, when resurfacing in their minds in this way, inevitably imbued them with a sense of despair, like being slowly tortured with a blunt knife.

"I’ll answer your question," the female player returned to Xu Huo’s side, "I’ve been here for over ten days, though I can’t rember precisely. The rooms here make it hard to leave marks, and even if you do, they eventually vanish. All timing tools fail, so you can only rely on your senses to judge how long it’s been since you entered."

"There are other rooms here?" Xu Huo asked.

"Many." The female player imdiately turned around to lead the way. Not hesitating, she opened the door and walked ahead.

Xu Huo followed her, discovering another identical room behind the door, even trapping so players inside and with an identical corpse hanging in the corner.

"Why do the dead look identical?" The new players also followed, "Twins?"

"Not twins, you’ll see if you keep watching." The room had two doors; the female player went straight ahead and opened the other one.

Again, another identical empty room with a few spiritless players.

And, of course, another hanging corpse.

"The sa corpse," Xu Huo glanced around, "It’s the sa person, but the state of decomposition differs."

"You’ve got good eyes," the female player walked to the opposite door and knocked on the closed one, "Except for the first room, every room afterward has two doors, leading to more rooms with more doors. And in every room, there’s a hanging corpse that looks and dresses the sa but varies in the degree of decay."

"What does this an?" another player asked, "How could the sa corpse appear in different places and repeat so many tis?"

"I don’t know either," the female player said, "If I did, maybe I’d be out of here by now."

Xu Huo focused on the hanging corpse again and approached for a closer look, "Has anyone touched these corpses?"

"Not just touched, they’ve eaten them," the female player didn’t seem to find her words disgusting at all, "The newcors try to find clues, and with ti, they start eyeing it like food. But even if eaten, it will reappear in the sa spot the next day. Over ti, no one dares to eat it anymore."

The new players instinctively gagged because from the extent of the corpse’s decay, the rooms further back could have mummified remains or skeletal remains, and surely many players wouldn’t be lining up to eat the corpse from the first room...

Xu Huo circled the corpse, and after stopping, said, "I’ll check out the rooms further back."

"I’m not accompanying you anymore," the female player, having fulfilled her paynt for the candy cube, turned back to the first room.

This ti Xu Huo opened another door, gripping the handle as he turned back to ask, "Are you coming or not?"

Of course, they had to go since there were no hints, they had to find the clues themselves.

However, after going through dozens of rooms, just as the female player said, every room behind was the sa, and while the corpse’s decay varied, even the hanging angles were identical.

"Is this really a Third of the Ga?" Buzz Cut among them couldn’t help but say, "Without any hints, maybe we haven’t entered the ga yet!"

Yet others shattered his illusion, "Every room’s the sa, but the body’s degree of decomposition varies. Even those not understanding Super Evolution can relate it to ti changes. Isn’t the Third of the Ga full of Space-Ti Power? Just look at the city center and those inexplicable Water Rubik’s Cubes. This place must be filled with ti force beyond our understanding. In other words..."

"We’re trapped in ti."
