Chapter 2225: Chapter 2225: Targeted Bounty

"I happened to be in that country when the incident occurred and was fortunate enough to et the person." The speaker involuntarily shivered, "I was almost captured alongside them."

"I’m not sure if people who undergo Spirit Evolution are..." The man pointed to his head, using a more tactful expression, "Their thinking is different from ordinary people."

"He controlled the people of that country to kill each other, not to plunder resources, just purely for the thrill of killing, including the players he caught. I personally saw him dissecting people for their brains, acting crazed, not like conducting any experints, it felt a bit..."

Xu Huo completed the sentence that was difficult to continue, "Brain supplent?"

The man was speechless, genuine fear in his eyes, "It seems so... Anyway, many players were killed at that ti, it was quite terrifying."

"Since then, I don’t like interacting with Psychic Evolvers."

He cautiously observed Xu Huo’s expression and continued, "It’s not just him; I heard there’s a very powerful female player too, who enjoys making people queue for suicide."

"Are you talking about Dou Shengnan from the Guile Sound Knights?" Xu Huo raised an eyebrow.

"I don’t rember if that’s the na," the speaker emphasized, "In any case, quite a few Evolvers are like that."

Super Evolvers, especially those who undergo Spirit Evolution, seem to invariably have so ntal issues when evolved to the extre, though he dared not say this aloud.

"So I’m really not in league with that person just now."

Xu Huo nodded, "Don’t worry, I’m not like them."

The man forced a smile.

However, Xu Huo still felt sothing was off. The previous confrontation with several Cannibal Players should alert the players in the sa carriage. That player wasn’t a newcor; why did they specifically target him?

Did they think that a Rank-B Psychic Evolver is not strong enough?

Or did he reveal sothing that attracted attention?

This face was newly changed, and apart from being a Psychic Evolver, he hadn’t used any of his usual props before, so it shouldn’t be the case.

The player quickly returned to their carriage, and not long after, the train lights went out.

No players disputed space with him, so Xu Huo occupied a sofa, able to lie down and rest. To be safe, he carefully scrutinized the belongings of that player again and unexpectedly found a slip of paper tucked inside a book, with just one line:

"Rank-B player, Psychic Evolver."

The number of Psychic Evolvers among Rank-B players might be countless, but coincidentally, one was identified on a train passing through B37-008, such a slip couldn’t be a re coincidence.

Later, he investigated Zone 008’s situation through the Beneath the Dinsion.

It seed there was no change after he left this zone, besides mobilizing players to enhance defenses, the high governnt officials conducting self-inspections, and the closed-door probing into the Tian Family’s industry, nothing new happened.

Not yet arrived in the zone, the communicator and Collection of Information Terminal in this zone couldn’t be used; weighing options, he contacted Nie Xuan to inquire about the situation.

After waiting for a while without receiving a reply, he closed his personal panel and closed his eyes to rest.

Unexpectedly, not long after, an explosion occurred in the front carriage, shaking several cars behind, with the seventh carriage—the nearest—almost derailing.

This imdiately roused all the players, especially those in the rear carriages. If damage in the middle of the train occurred, those at the back would likely be stranded on the tracks. The quick-reacting players attempted to move through the blast-induced turbulence toward the front cars.

"Don’t worry, friends in the back!" A rough voice rang out from the front, as Tattooed Head and two players walked into the transition carriage, "The cars have been reinforced and stabilized, the disruptors have been captured, everyone is now safe."

Such words couldn’t ease the players’ anger, especially when there were no Aliens outside, no commotion before the incident—the weapons used in the train fight were clearly intended to sabotage the train deliberately!

"Who is it!" Soone questioned, "Are they dead yet?"

The player who had been beaten beyond recognition was dumped on the carriage floor. Tattooed Head stated, "All props on him have been confiscated by us; such dangerous elents can’t simply be killed. We must investigate to see if he has accomplices. He’s been administered a Potion; after it takes effect, we can interrogate him."

The crowd waited a minute before the player’s mind beca confused, and then they started questioning.

The interrogation was led by Tattooed Head, who first asked if the player had accomplices but received an unexpected answer.

"I don’t know." This response was given.

"Did you just get the impulse to bomb the train?" Tattooed Head asked while holding the person up, "Why bomb the train?"

"To kill two people..." The player stamred out the information everyone wanted, intending to kill two people; the first was Xu Huo in the seventh carriage, the second, a player in the eleventh carriage. They had never t, and the murder reason was simple — it was a bounty task.

Soone had issued a bounty task via special channels Within the Dinsion, asking to kill all Psychic Super Evolutionaries passing through the B37 train, prioritizing Levels A and B.

"Soone specifically targeting Psychic Evolvers?" Tattooed Head showed slight surprise, "But aiming to kill all passing Psychic Evolvers, that’s too reckless and tyrannical."

"Ha!" Soone sneered, "Most likely so player family suffered losses at the hands of Psychic Evolvers and was boiling with rage. The Ga Governnt doesn’t have the leisure, only so powerful player families would do such shaless things."

"What’s the identity of these people?" Xu Huo asked, "The target is the train passing B37, it should be related to B37 Wormhole Point. Has sothing big happened at B37 Wormhole Point?"

It’s hard to say; even major events within the zone may never get publicized. The leaderboard Zhan isn’t at B37 Wormhole Point.

Tattooed Head asked about the player’s identity again and found that he was not a Progressive Hunter but a normal player from B37 Wormhole Point. The bounty task was issued from an underground market, aning it wasn’t an official mission through the ga platform open to all players, just a personal bounty, placed in a certain zone. Any players who encountered it could take up this task.

"Which zone?" Soone suddenly asked from the crowd.

The air beca eerily still, just as Xu Huo prepared to finish off that train-bombing player, Tattooed Head preemptively snapped his neck.

Then, under the varying gazes of the crowd, he smiled nonchalantly, "Let’s not continue mutual slaughter among players. Moreover, those daring to challenge the player families of Rank-B Wormhole Points, I truly admire."

"No need for the curious to strain to get information from ; I’ll package and sell off this bounty player’s belongings. Thus, heaven and earth and you and I will know nothing of it."
