Chapter 2104: Chapter 2104: Farewell, Dr. Wu

The once lively Pumpkin City fell silent once again. The lights no longer flickered, smoke no longer wafted, and the people running through the streets maintained their original expressions and stances as they were frozen in place. The swaying branches, the falling leaves, and even the pursuing players were all frozen in ti.

Only Xu Huo, Tang Ming, and Wang Ling, holding their Super Props, continued to move through this space that had beco rely a backdrop.

Tang Ming was too preoccupied to avenge his earlier humiliation of kneeling because he saw a beam of white light shining from the direction of the Sunshine Tree Villa Area, a light that wasn’t there before. His eyes lit up with imnse delight, and he eagerly rushed toward 12 Street. Unfortunately, before he could take a few steps, he froze in midair and then turned into a pile of dust, which, along with the Prop he held, gently fell to the ground.

This scene shocked Wang Ling, who imdiately turned his head to look at Xu Huo, only to find the latter also looking back at him.

"Don’t move," Xu Huo said, then avoided the two Ti Forces in front and headed toward Sunshine Tree No. 12.

The lights of Sunshine Tree No. 12 were still on; standing outside, one could hear the joyful laughter inside the house. A child was shouting for another candy, while the father sternly refused, and the mother gently persuaded. They seed to be the only signs of life within the frozen Pumpkin City.

Xu Huo stepped forward and knocked on the door.

A middle-aged man wearing glasses opened the door and smiled at him, saying, "You’ve arrived, co in and have a seat."

The hostess poured so tea and took the child to the couch to read a picture book, while "Dr. Wu," whose image sowhat differed from that in Starlet Company, led him to the yard. Watching the turbulent Ti Force in the city, he said, "Ti cannot be reversed."

Xu Huo also gazed at those seemingly tangible Ti Forces, feeling for the first ti that Ti Force was vast and omnipresent. Standing in his position now, he sensed not just the Ti Rays but also the oppressive feel brought by Ti Force. Triggering a Ti Ray is a small action, yet what flows is ti, regardless of the coverage scope. Ti is just ti. Being in the torrent of ti is a very dangerous thing; he must carefully stand at a precise distance from another Ti Force to trigger them, then let them go to where they originally belonged.

Similarly, Pumpkin City appears peaceful now, but it’s actually covered by multiple Ti Forces, looking like a completely imperceptible hunting ground for dangerous information. That’s why Tang Ming ran straight into another Ti Force and perished.

"But curved ti can reverse ti," he said.

"Ti reversal, space-ti retrospection, is rely a saying." Dr. Wu raised his hand to touch the curved ti surging in front, "Ti cannot be reversed, but curved ti can be. Unlike ti, curved ti is very hard to capture; it sotis vanishes, sotis is born, like another snake-like force hidden in a gap outside of space, indescribable and incomprehensible."

"They can make ti flow backward for one or two seconds or one or two years. In the dinsional ga world’s concept, it truly represents super-dinsional existence."

"Does that still count as ti?" Xu Huo asked.

"It might be, or it might not be," Dr. Wu said, "Ti is rely a concept created for humans to live more conveniently. Yet, with curved ti’s existence, the original notion of ti becos unsustainable. From the future back to the past, in normal ti, you are still aging, but under curved ti’s influence, you’re returning to the past, back to the state of that monts in the past."

"Being affected by curved ti, you can also consider yourself as a super-dinsional existence, although unable to freely control the length of the retrospection."

Xu Huo wasn’t sure if the Dr. Wu in front of him was just an image or, like Midsumr Night’s River of Stars, had a degree of autonomous consciousness. He took out the "Angel’s Eye," "Does the Super Prop’s ti reversal borrow the power of curved ti?"

Dr. Wu glanced at the Shitou (Stone), then said, "Curved ti is difficult to capture; even if captured, it’s hard to tell how long it can retrospect the past. That’s why I say it’s like a snake, sotis present, sotis absent, unlike our normal ti, which always remains."

"If one could find suitable curved ti, could it bring the entire ga world back to its origin?" Xu Huo continued asking.

Dr. Wu then laughed, "I ntioned before, curved ti resembles a snake; it can exist and vanish, naturally carrying volu. By introducing Ti Force into another space, the range you can cover is your volu. The larger the range, the greater the volu. No curved ti is sufficient to make the ga world disappear."

However, Xu Huo didn’t share this view, "Since curved ti is a super-dinsional existence, its volu should not be asured by normal human standards. Perhaps the entire ga world compares to it as re grains of sand, whether Super Props or Evolvers; capturing it and triggering it only shares in the tiny foam sprayed from the colossal stream."

"Sotis like drizzle, sotis like torrents, sotis as nothing, sotis as all."

Dr. Wu paused before bursting into laughter, "Sotis, people would ignore sothing because it’s too small, forgetting that if sothing is too enormous, it would naturally be overlooked as well."

After saying this, he restrained his laughter and warned Xu Huo, "So you need to be careful, distinguishing between yourself and ti."

Before Xu Huo could grasp the deep aning of his words, Dr. Wu returned to his peaceful deanor, went inside, and retrieved a box from a safe, "I see you’ve evolved well; this is what you need right now, though it doesn’t remain much. If you need more, find a player nad ’Gourt,’ who has more."

Opening the box, Xu Huo saw a vial of P5S Potion.

After a long gaze, he finally said, "Is predicting the future real?"

Dr. Wu’s figure twitched slightly, then returned to normal, saying again, "This space is yours; it will disappear in ten days. Take the Ti Tower with you."

"I still have a few questions." Xu Huo hurried his pace, such as why was the exact P5S Potion he needed stored here? Also, since curved ti is so difficult to capture, how can Pumpkin City fix curved ti? Is it the sa principle as Super Props? If so, does it an curved ti, like normal Ti Forces, can be freely controlled by Evolvers?

If predicting the future is a montary flash of Ti Force, then is it the result of curved ti’s influence? If so, will this predetermined future change due to changes in process...

Yet, he didn’t get to ask any of these questions, as Dr. Wu’s image dissipated.
