Chapter 2082: Chapter 2082: Could It Be a Ti Reset?
The contents on the recorder don’t differ much from the notebook, because they didn’t make other discoveries over the past two days, consistently re-exploring the nearby streets. Each ti, they consciously stayed near the mall, which is why Feng Hui joined them, and later in the records, another player appeared. However, after a brief encounter, the person left without a word, and the records from yesterday and today don’t include this person.
"He must have taken a different direction," ng Wenguang said, "This morning, we also searched in a different direction. We didn’t co across anyone and returned."
Xu Huo quickly finished reading the notebook, paused silently for a mont before saying, "Is all the content verified to be real?"
ng Wenguang confidently responded, "I wrote it all myself, it’s definitely correct. Other than the notebook, we have the recorder, and at least everything we’ve experienced is real."
Not entirely reassured by the written records, Xu Huo still requested to see the recorder.
ng Wenguang hesitated slightly but agreed, and Xu Huo focused on one particular section — the record of ng Wenguang’s group heading in his direction yesterday afternoon.
Elsewhere it was nearly identical, except for the absence of the Ti Tower.
Their records conveniently stopped each night after 9:10 p.m., suggesting that the aning of 9:17 p.m. on the Ti Tower’s main gate was indeed special, and this location’s key lies with the Ti Tower.
Xu Huo cast the photo he had previously taken into the air, "There’s a Ti Tower between the newsstand and Hugfish Toy Store."
The group was surprised to see a tangible record and hastily compared it with their own notes. The newsstand and Hugfish Toy Store were there, but the Ti Tower’s place in between was taken by the toy store, leaving not even a gap.
ng Wenguang exchanged glances with Yue Rui and then said, "It seems it’s not just bad luck; we simply can’t touch the key location of this instance."
"Actually, we do have so good luck," Feng Hui added, "We’ve only waited a few days... Mr. Xu, this instance is quite complex. It’s safer to go together."
Xu Huo glanced at the panda pattern on their outfits. The temperature in Zone 011 wasn’t high, and most players wore jackets. Seemingly to remind themselves and others imdiately, they wore another small shirt over the coat.
Noticing his gaze, ng Wenguang said, "The shirt belongs to Yue Rui; though it’s a bit small, small clothes also have their advantages. It’s not a perfect fit but wearing it clearly shows there’s sothing unusual."
"Yue Rui, quickly get a shirt for Mr. Xu as well."
Yue Rui, sowhat embarrassed, held out a similar short-sleeve shirt, "This is from my recent collection; other than mine, only my brother Hong Chen’s size is available. My brother’s a bit short, so the largest size is this one."
Xu Huo accepted it but didn’t wear it, instead taking them toward the Ti Tower.
He returned the earliest but couldn’t contact Wang Ling or the sweet girl, so he had to wait in place.
The two returned one after the other, but Wang Ling brought along another player, Long Jianfeng, also a Rank-B player.
Long Jianfeng’s entry ti was uncertain, because, like Xu Huo and Wang Ling earlier, he believed he had just entered.
Of course, whether Wang Ling had truly entered for the first day was hard to say, because before he entered, his luggage compartnt had nearly run out of food. As for Long Rong, food wasn’t personally prepared, so the exact amount was unclear.
"Even if it’s not the first day, I’ve likely not been here long," he stated, "I’d notice if too much food was consud."
Xu Huo’s situation was similar.
They discussed and ultimately focused on the Ti Tower.
From ng Wenguang’s records and Xu Huo’s group observations, the Ti Tower is crucial information.
"Nine seventeen may very well be when our cognition resets," Wang Ling copied a notebook, "Tonight we can record the status of the Ti Tower and see if everyone really loses mory at 9:17 p.m."
"Even knowing for sure doesn’t change our current situation," ng Wenguang said, "The more important thing is figuring out how to break this reset pattern."
Xu Huo nodded, "From the known clues, whether it’s instance ti reset or our collective amnesia and cognition reboot, the period after 9:17 p.m. till the next morning is blank."
"This ti can be divided into two parts: night from 9:17 until the next morning 9:01, then after 9:01."
"I entered the instance at 10:55 a.m.; ng Wenguang’s group was at 9:01 a.m.; Wang Ling and Long Jianfeng at 9:22..."
He turned to the sweet girl.
"Lu Miaomiao." The sweet girl stated her na.
"Lu Miaomiao at noon 12:32," Xu Huo added, "If we’ve all been here for more than a day, then from the second day onward, prior to our respective arrival tis, we must have already been in this instance."
"According to ng Wenguang’s earliest entry timing, I’ve been here at least three days, so when ng Wenguang’s group was conscious this morning, I should also be in the instance, and there’s clear ti records in ng Wenguang’s recorder, so our ti records in the sa location must be true."
"Therefore, between 9:01 and 12:32, there’s a cognitive ti gap."
"Moreover, from the prior night 9:17 to the next day 9:01, suppose the cognitive reset begins at 9:01, what were we doing during this prior ti slot of blankness?"
"To interject," Wang Ling said, "If it’s a ti reset, the period from 9:17 to the next morning 9:01 might be skipped entirely; ti might not exist in between. We all might have gone directly from 9:17 to 9:01; eting each other would be normal, given our short ti inside without realizing the ti reboot. ng Wenguang’s records haven’t disappeared, and perhaps tomorrow morning if they find records involving us, they can directly locate us."
"Ti reset, shouldn’t we all not exist in this space prior to our respective arrival tis?" Lu Miaomiao asked.
"That’s where you’re mistaken," Wang Ling shook his head, "Ti reset can’t whimsically reverse ti. Even if Super Props could do it, existing items and people can’t go from presence to absence or vice versa. If that happened, if ti inversion here made you absent, and Zone 011 outside doesn’t invert ti, where should you be?"
"If ti truly inverted, our existence should logically fit within the ti and space," Xu Huo comnted, pausing, "But I lean towards this being a multi-space environnt and not actual ti reset."
