Chapter 1994: Chapter 1994: Explosive Maniac

In fact, the elder’s killing move had already covered most of the trapped players, and only a few were within that tenth of the range. The reason many survived was largely due to life-saving props, with only three players foreseeing the danger early and leaping into the air to avoid being sliced in half. The masked boy felt sothing amiss, but before he could react, a hand suddenly erged from below, pulling him down. The elder’s line sliced cleanly above his head, knocking off his mask.

The two concentric walls at the city center had already been destroyed by the players. The remaining outer zone players scattered, trying to blend into crowded areas. They had been tricked by Agor and trapped. The focus wasn’t the barrier of the walls, but gathering them for the elder to take action. The outer wall barriers hadn’t disappeared. Now, the best strategy was to involve the city’s residents; Agor couldn’t possibly round up and kill the entire city’s populace.

Those who died were truly unlucky, while the survivors felt a sense of relief from surviving the disaster and beca more cautious. However, the atmosphere between Xu Huo and the masked boy was a bit awkward.

Of course, the masked boy no longer had a mask. After Xu Huo pulled him out, they maintained a five-ter distance facing each other, neither speaking.

Originally, there were three layers of circular wall barriers between Xu Huo and Argor Headquarters. After he labored to break through an underground passage, only two remained, conveniently narrowing into one. He arrived nearby just in ti to see players breaking through together, coincidentally pulling the masked boy along.

But even he didn’t expect such a comical scene.

Looking at the person opposite with his perfectly bald head, Xu Huo said after a mont, "Your head’s quite shiny."

The masked boy, indeed a very young man, broke out with a green face after hearing this, saying, "I suspect you did it on purpose."

"How could I?" Xu Huo feigned surprise, "In such a dangerous situation, shouldn’t you be glad it only shaved off your hair?"

Clearly, the other party didn’t think so. While putting on a hat, he said, "This is the black mark of my life, an indelible black mark. I’d rather be beheaded than turned into a diterranean!"

"No problem," Xu Huo imdiately offered, "I can send you back."

The other retreated warily, his dignity sowhat restored by the hat, and no longer as agitated as before. He touched the brim and said, "Forget it, you did save

once. But actually, I could’ve gotten out myself."

Xu Huo nodded nonchalantly with a smile.

The masked boy felt sowhat resigned, "Let’s formally introduce ourselves, I’m Jiang Chengfeng."

"Old Wu." Xu Huo, showing little sincerity, used a number instead of Xu Zhi’s na. Jiang Chengfeng rolled his eyes, "You’re in Yuquan City, and you know about the Old Holy Sword Society. You don’t think your identity would be hard to trace, do you?"

Xu Huo raised an eyebrow slightly, "Isn’t the Old Holy Sword Society defunct? Anyone who knows about the Holy Sword Society now is talking about the New Holy Sword Society. Do you have so many people?"

As he spoke, he deliberately glanced around, "Where are your companions?"

Jiang Chengfeng’s face twitched, avoiding the question, "Let’s find a place to hide. I’m afraid there’ll be another slicing incident."

"The range that prop covers is only thirty ters, and I guess its usage conditions are harsh. Otherwise, the Eastern District players wouldn’t need the whole city’s instrunts." Xu Huo added, "The circular wall barriers should close soon."

Sure enough, as they changed locations, those circular walls in the city slowly turned into halos and disappeared.

"Did you see Zheng Yuci when you were trapped?" Xu Huo asked.

"He probably left with the Eastern District players," Jiang Chengfeng said, "When the barrier locked down, everyone was cleared out. I didn’t see him or the players protecting him."

Xu Huo nodded lightly, then stopped near Argor Headquarters.

Jiang Chengfeng saw him affixing so thin tal sheets to his hand and then placing his index finger on the ground and slowly lifting it. Although not a spatial-type super evolver, his evolution rate was high enough to sense special power accumulating under Xu Huo’s finger.

"Aren’t you looking for Zheng Yuci? What are you doing?"

"Blowing up the building," Xu Huo said indifferently.

After the circular wall barriers disappeared, no one had cleaned up the bodies of the killed outer zone players. Most Eastern District players had gone to support other areas, leaving Argor Headquarters sowhat deserted. Of course, it wasn’t because it was no longer profitable; after the elder left, the unobstructed instrunts inside and outside the building resud operation, the defensive barrier lit up again, making other players who wanted to loot feel too afraid to approach.

"For Eastern District players to abandon the headquarters so easily, it seems there’s nothing important here," Jiang Chengfeng said. "Maybe this place was a decoy from the start."

"Didn’t you notice the floor here was specially modified when you were trapped?" Xu Huo had already planted the first bomb and imdiately moved on to the second one, "Even if there’s no secret underground facility, the equipnt for the circular wall barriers should be buried here. Blowing it up wouldn’t be a loss."

Jiang Chengfeng nodded, anyway he enjoyed the excitent of it, about to suggest going on the lookout when he suddenly felt the air beco stagnant. He was startled, imdiately realizing a super evolver had arrived.

"Quite a quick response." Xu Huo had already equipped the "Cubic Space
