Capítulo 1851: Chapter 1851

All the Rank-B players from the Polar Safe Zone had gathered outside the city. Even Mr. Yuan, who secretly directed the affairs of the safe zone, was present, although he stood behind the players, acting as an ordinary civilian.

The Little Pink Hat showed a bit of its foot again this ti, but it was quickly covered by Xu Huo. To gain the trust of the people in the Polar Safe Zone, Xu Huo signaled for Little Pink Hat to “show its face” on its own.

In front of everyone’s eyes, Little Pink Hat unveiled a corner of the cloth wrapping on its own, looking at Fei Xian’s group with round, wise eyes before retreating again.

But that one glance was enough to excite everyone. The child’s slight developntal defects weren’t a big issue, as long as it was a human overall, possessing the ability to think like a human!

A group of rough people, usually loud, didn’t even dare to speak loudly now. After a while, Fei Xian ca over, “The wind and sand outside are strong; don’t let the child catch a cold. Let’s go inside first.”

“Don’t worry,” Xu Huo smiled, “This child has been wandering with the Different Species Group and can adapt to the environnt better than ordinary people.”

This explained the child’s origins, why it hadn’t been discovered in recent years, and how it had grown.

As they walked into the city, Xu Huo added, “The child may not have activated intelligence yet, but it is undoubtedly human. However, its body is different from ours and might not be accepted by ordinary people.”

Fei Xian only thought about how Zone 010 finally had a child born and didn’t ponder the aning behind the words, responding nonchalantly and cheerfully, “What does it matter, as long as the child can grow up healthy!”

Seeing this, Xu Huo said no more and followed them to the accommodations they had arranged.

Fei Xian and the others knew that Xu Huo and his group wouldn’t send the child without a reason, so after arranging lodging and food, they left a few people to take care of things and temporarily left.

By this point, Black Under the Light and the others understood Xu Huo’s strategy. He intentionally didn’t hide the news of finding the newborn and deliberately spread it between different safe zones, clearly to attract more people, though they couldn’t figure out his exact motive.

“Will this help clear the ga?” Black Under the Light couldn’t help asking.

Xu Huo released Chang Shoujie as well and replied casually, “It’s hard to find a needle in a haystack, but it’s different if the needle cos to you.”

Brother Wu and the others exchanged subtle glances but didn’t speak. Pink Hair pursued further, “Your mission to clear the ga relates to the newborn, right? Finding the child won’t clear the ga?”

Everyone else was watching Xu Huo.

Xu Huo adjusted Little Pink Hat, still in his arms, and slipped a piece of candy under the cover.

The sound of “crack, crack” biting the candy filled the room, and the question was left unanswered.

It wasn’t long before Fei Xian and others returned, Mr. Yuan in tow. Before they could introduce Mr. Yuan, Chang Shoujie spoke up:

“Mr. Yuan, long ti no see.”

Mr. Yuan saw the person in the wheelchair and imdiately recognized him, smiling with unease, “Turns out we have a rare guest.”

Having been identified, Mr. Yuan no longer feigned his role following Fei Xian and took his place in the wheelchair again after signaling them to step back.

“You’ve aged too,” said Chang Shoujie, sowhat wistfully, observing how the other nearly fell into the wheelchair.

Mr. Yuan shook his head slightly, “I’m just an ordinary person. To have survived in Zone 010 until today is all thanks to the care of these children. I don’t have much ti left and will likely die before you.”

As he spoke, Fei Xian and the others couldn’t hide their sorrow.

“Let’s not waste ti,” Mr. Yuan continued, “What would it take for you to entrust the child to us?”

Chang Shoujie looked at Xu Huo, who couldn’t fool this old man with the words he used on Fu Yi.

“I have only one condition,” Xu Huo was prepared, “Find the player who left the CK12 Safe Zone alive; I need to find Dr. Joyce.”

The people in the room reacted with varying degrees of surprise.

Whether it was Chang Shoujie, who knew the truth about the “newborn,” or Black Under the Light and the others, aware that Dr. Joyce was already dead, they realized after processing that this was Xu Huo’s excuse, though each side understood the “purpose” differently.

The Polar Safe Zone’s side was evidently more explicit, with Fei Xian saying, “You found the child, didn’t you find Dr. Joyce?”

Clearly, they knew Dr. Joyce’s experint; the success was most surprising to them.

“The child wandered with the Different Species Group, and Dr. Joyce’s whereabouts are unknown. Only those who left CK12 alive might know the details.”

He didn’t give Mr. Yuan a chance to negotiate but directly stated, “I’ve been very clear the last ti I ca to the Polar Safe Zone. I want to find Dr. Joyce. Since Dr. Joyce was last seen at CK12, it’s your responsibility to find those players.”

“This is my only condition.”

Mr. Yuan glanced at Chang Shoujie, paused, and then spoke to Xu Huo, “As you can see, there’s little communication between the safe zones in Zone 010. It’s even less likely we’ll be inford about personnel details. It takes ti to check who escaped when CK12 Safe Zone was buried and where they are now…”

“There’s not much ti,” Chang Shoujie interrupted, “Before coming here, we have already spread the news of the newborn in the Polar Safe Zone.”

Fei Xian and the others were stunned, standing up in unison, while Mr. Yuan’s face darkened, “What exactly do you want to do!”

He was questioning Chang Shoujie, his straightforward approach indicating he believed Chang played a major role in this, not without previous incident.

“I’m of course looking for CK12’s players,” Xu Huo intervened before Chang Shoujie could answer, “Considering you’ve tricked

before, I don’t trust you much.”

“When the other safe zones’ players arrive, I will publicly announce that whoever brings the CK12 Safe Zone survivors to

will have the chance to take the newborn. If anyone can directly find the doctor or provide her whereabouts, I’ll hand over the newborn with both hands.”

These words undoubtedly angered Fei Xian and the others, but before they could take action, Xu Huo, in the middle, raised his hand and spread it out, “If you want to use force, I’m ready.”

To his right were Chang Shoujie and Gao Dawei, to his left were Fu Yi and three others, while behind him sat Black Under the Light and others, appearing unconcerned. anwhile, as Xu Huo was speaking, “When the other safe zones’ players arrive, I will publicly announce that whoever brings the CK12 Safe Zone survivors to
