Capítulo 1816: Chapter 1816: You Have a Point

When Xu Huo spoke, his expression and tone didn’t fluctuate much, as if the words coming out of his mouth weren’t threats, just an ordinary greeting.

But the premise is that he didn’t even look back after killing soone, which shows that his strength is not comparable to players of the sa rank. If a fight really breaks out, only Brother Lou, a Rank-B player, and a few other strong Rank-C players might stand a chance, while the others wouldn’t even have a chance to get close…

Being able to form a small team of players in such a harsh natural environnt like Zone 010 and forcing another small group of players led by Fu Yi to stay in that small city shows that these people have a certain level of strength. Sotis, one player can make a huge difference, especially a Rank-B player, otherwise, the safe zone wouldn’t change its attitude towards the small city with the addition of two Rank-B companions.

So now, even in the face of the sudden and formidable Xu Huo, they were not afraid but instead quickly adjusted their coordinated strategy, making Level D and Level E Players retreat further away, leaving four Rank-C players and a Rank-B player to confront him.

From the configuration, the personnel on the safe zone’s side is similar to that of the small city, but in terms of the outco, the safe zone’s players only suffered minor injuries, whereas the small city’s side fared far worse.

“He should be the one I ntioned before, Brother Lou, he’s got many tricks up his sleeve,” the tattooed man reminded.

The middle-aged man standing directly in front of Xu Huo was Brother Lou, who scrutinized Xu Huo, “Friend, since you’re not from our Zone 010, why intervene in our matters? Originally, you could’ve left and this would be settled, who knew you’d dare co here by yourself, facing many alone, do you think…”

Brother Lou was originally speaking while moving forward, intending to surprise with a sudden attack. However, before he finished speaking, he abruptly stopped, squinted at the front, then swiftly reached behind his waist, drawing a pair of short knives which crossed in front of him, the sliding sound resonated through the space, also making a faint shadow appear in the air in front of him.

Brother Lou’s gaze darkened, but he didn’t retreat. Instead, he released a tallic eagle, that mimicked animal calls before diving toward Xu Huo, but it was shredded into pieces just a few ters out—from the shattered shape, it was clear that the blades were densely arranged and cut through tal effortlessly, so carving a person wouldn’t be any worse!

But this wasn’t the most crucial part; the most crucial part was that apart from Brother Lou, no one else noticed the props around the car. If they charged straight ahead, they would’ve been torn to pieces!

As everyone’s gazes grew more vigilant, Xu Huo followed up on Brother Lou’s words, “You make a good point, there are indeed too many people here.”

He glanced around at the people surrounding him and then mid a throat-slitting gesture in the air.

The next second, two Level E players and two Level D players standing on the outer edges of the encirclent suddenly swung props at each other, and in an instant, both pairs were dead!

Before their bodies could fall, another four Level D Players also perished almost simultaneously in different ways. So were shot through the temple, so had their spines broken, and two others were severed as if cut by sothing, unknowingly split in half.

The Cannibal Player’s advantage over ordinary players lies in their physical prowess, but when the Evolution rate closes this gap, and they aren’t equipped with good props, this advantage becos negligible.

Including the remaining five individuals.

Xu Huo’s killings were too sudden, and those who died seed bewitched, leaving no chance for rescue. Brother Lou quickly recognized an opportunity, layering seven or eight Defense Props in front before using an attack prop after breaking through so of the Secant Line barriers.

Props have certain usage restrictions; if there are too many obstacles between the user and the target, the prop might not activate. Xu Huo skillfully used Spatial Barriers to increase obstacles, with the only downside being that his barriers couldn’t block overly strong attacks.

Brother Lou used a thick shield to hold several Secant Lines—this wasn’t too difficult as the lines weren’t very powerful when stationary. Seizing the gap, he leapt in, shattered the Space Ray Barrier, and tossed out a string of Bells.

With a “boom boom” sound, fireworks-like explosions enveloped the entire vehicle. At the sa ti, the other four Rank-C players split into two groups, one group coordinated with Brother Lou to attack from the side, while the other attempted to snatch soone away to divert attention. Seizing the mont when the snatch group was intercepted, Brother Lou rolled up his right hand to his mouth and blew towards the car, then imdiately withdrew.

Yet, before the explosion smoke cleared, Xu Huo had already co out to handle a few Rank-C players. Three were killed in an unguarded state, perhaps thinking they had the upper hand in speed and reflexes. The three quickly changed positions for a coordinated attack, but Xu Huo didn’t need to compete in speed. As long as they couldn’t defend against a Rank A Prop and ntal Interference, he’d kill with ease.

Only the fourth person managed to escape, being more cautious than the others, using a prop to block Xu Huo briefly before swiftly fleeing into the station.

This left just one person remaining.

Xu Huo flashed in front of Brother Lou, producing a Black Blade out of thin air and slashed towards his neck.

Brother Lou was already prepared, blocking with a protective arm brace. Instead of slicing horizontally as intended, the blade slipped along the Defense Prop vertically, and taking this opportunity, he reached for Xu Huo’s abdon!

He wasn’t barehanded; as he reached out, a set of beast claw-shaped tal gloves automatically covered his hands. These gloves could undoubtedly break a Spatial Barrier, but they were halted by an Unassailable Territory.

Brother Lou didn’t even furrow his brow. Seeing breaking Xu Huo’s Defense Prop was impossible, he simply kicked against the barrier to pull them further apart, dodging the Black Blade’s attack again, and burrowed into the ground.

Yes, underground.

This wasn’t a sandy desert but a wasteland, with relatively hard ground peppered with rocks. Yet, as Brother Lou entered the ground, it automatically turned to sand around his feet, spreading over ten ters wide and he directly tunneled through these sandy depths, avoiding Xu Huo’s Secant Lines in the air, retreating straight to the city’s entrance.

He didn’t go far, nor did he intend to leave, but stood there staring at Xu Huo.

Xu Huo touched the tear on his protective collar, then, under Brother Lou’s triumphant gaze, picked up a piece of glass-like thin sheet and held it before his eyes, “Is this the thing you used against the small city players?”

The prior smoke attack aid to attach this thing to him. Bringing it closer, he saw it contained a minuscule, active white thread inside.
