1010: Chapter 1010 Snow White Villa

The Dong Family wasn’t far from the Snow White Villa; one just had to step through a dinsional portal to arrive directly there.

Like using a Spatial Teleportation Device, there was almost no sensation passing through the portal, and where he ca out was right in front of the main entrance of Snow White Villa.

Seeing the lit hall and people coming from behind, Xu Huo frowned.

In the next second, he sensed a strange force sealing off the area including the villa:

Bad timing.

“Hey?

The ga started already?” The person walking over from behind him was a female Player with a baby-like round face.

She walked up to the entrance and released goodwill towards Xu Huo, “The ga has begun, hurry and get inside.”

Xu Huo followed her into the villa’s hall without changing his expression and t the six Players there.

Four n and two won, all around thirty years old.

The six didn’t interact with each other; one of them, a local dungeon player, was engrossed in examining the old objects in the hall, while another with a lip piercing was leaning back on the sofa, chewing gum vigorously.

The other two male Players were flipping through the coffee table and looking at old magazines.

The two female Players were taking photos around the hall.

In addition, there were five people on different floors of the villa, two on the fifth floor, with the remaining three spread out on the fourth floor, third floor, and second floor.

Including the round-faced female Player who arrived after him, there were a total of twelve people.

It seed that this instance was another twelve-person format, except he had arrived at an unfortunate ti, right before the instance site closed, making him the thirteenth Player in this instance.

As a non-dungeon player, he hadn’t co with Tickets, so he didn’t receive the ga notification either, and he would have to wait until the end of this instance to leave.

Soon, the Players staying upstairs ca down, three male Players in the back, two female Players in the front – among them, a familiar face.

Chi Minghong looked at Xu Huo with surprise, “You’re in this instance too?

If only I knew we were on the sa path.”

The other four players seed like strangers to each other and each found a place to sit down.

Xu Huo checked them out like the others before replying to Chi Minghong, “Got held up with sothing, didn’t expect it to be such a coincidence.”

“Yeah, indeed.” Chi Minghong chuckled, hopped in front of the sofa, and said: “Everyone, please take a seat.

We’ve all seen the dungeon notification, no point in holding back.

How about we discuss the thod to clear the instance?”

Those who ca earlier had already checked the villa, and the reason for gathering in the hall was to wait for the ga to start.

Hearing Chi Minghong’s words, two impatient Players were about to speak when all of a sudden, the villa’s door burst open, an urgent man with glasses walked in with a touch of apology, “Sorry, I’m a bit late, hope I didn’t disturb everyone?”

Xu Huo raised an eyebrow: The fourteenth Player?

The lip-pierced Player lazily said, “We’re all here for the instance, you’re too polite.”

As if not picking up on the sarcasm in the other’s words, the man with glasses grinned, “Really, I was just afraid of delaying everyone’s discussion or missing out on any clues, which might make it impossible to clear.”

The muscular male Player who ca down from upstairs said, “If there are clues, it wouldn’t do anyone good to share with others, who would be such an idiot to tell others?”

Not only was he replying to the man with glasses, but he was also responding to what Chi Minghong said earlier.

How could clues possibly be shared?

The others in the hall didn’t speak, which counted as taking a stance.

Chi Minghong spread his hands, “Although we are competitors, there’s no need to be so heavily guarded.

If we lay out the rules clearly, open and fair competition is better than secretive attrition, right?

We only have so many days; it’s pointless to spend them groping for rules that could be clarified.”

One of the long-haired female Players who had been taking photos snorted with laughter, “You sure are confident in your abilities.”

“My suggestion is bad?” Chi Minghong smiled back, “If you all don’t want to know others’ clues, why gather here?

Better to go sleep in a room since the notes haven’t appeared yet, isn’t that so?”

“Will you share your findings?” the long-haired female Player retorted.

“What’s there to hide?” Chi Minghong replied without hesitation, “I found at least three rooms with hidden compartnts on the second floor.

The notes certainly won’t be in obvious places; when the ti cos, we will need to search, and hidden spots like this are the most likely.

How about that, am I generous enough?”

“Who doesn’t know what you just said?” the long-haired female Player replied, “It’s just a hidden compartnt, I even found a wallet hidden in the ceiling—doesn’t being a Rank-C Player count for anything?

What’s so difficult about finding a place like that?

That’s your so-called sincerity?”

The two refused to give way, but then the muscled male Player who ca downstairs said, “Actually, this instance isn’t that complicated, the focus is still on the content of the note.

Why don’t we wait until the first note appears?”

The rest did not voice agreent or disagreent but didn’t seem inclined to leave the hall.

Xu Huo sat in the corner, sorting the information he knew so far.

First, the background of this instance should be very straightforward and doesn’t seem to have much to do with the villa, which is why the Players ca down after a brief search of the rooms.

Second, the key to the instance hasn’t appeared yet – the note.

The fact that Players are waiting in the hall suggests that the appearance of the note is tied to a specific ti, so there’s no hurry now.

Third, there was a great deal of mutual mistrust among Players, aning this wasn’t a survival or team instance.

Players, therefore, were competitors, and the object of competition must be the note.

The Snow White Villa’s area was limited; the focus was on the note, which might contain other requirents of the instance.

“I’m going to take a look upstairs,” Xu Huo got up and nodded to Chi Minghong.

The round-faced female Player and the glasses man also indicated they wanted to make a round.

They were the last ones to arrive; everyone else was already familiar with the environnt, so now only they needed to leave the hall.

However, Chi Minghong followed Xu Huo, “We know each other, what do you think are the chances of the note appearing?”

Rooms in the villa had been rented out, most were old and damaged, coupled with dim lighting, which made them seem less spacious and a bit oppressive.

Bedrooms and washrooms had windows, but these were not large, roughly half the height and width of two n.

Most of the rooms followed this layout.

“Are all the rooms upstairs like this?” he asked.

Chi Minghong nodded, “Apart from the hall with several floor-to-ceiling windows, every bedroom is like this.

There’s no study or recreation room here; they’ve probably been converted into bedrooms for rent.”

“With so many rented and broken rooms, and plenty of paper goods, how could it be easy to find just one more note?”

“It might not be as hard as you think,” Xu Huo said, “The note is for Players, don’t overthink it.”

“There’s only one note per day, there will definitely be a fierce struggle when the ti cos,” Chi Minghong glanced at the ti, “it’s still going to be after midnight, better pick a room and rest before that.”
