After a few minutes of contemplation, Liu Mingshu seed to have made up her mind.

"Can you find Su Qin?"

Hearing Liu Mingshu’s words, Su Yan jolted in surprise.

Was Master Liu planning to look for Su Qin?

Did she want to negotiate with Su Qin and ask her to stop interacting with Lu Xiao?

"But Master Liu, once you reveal your intention, I’m afraid Su Qin will pay even more attention to Lu Xiao."

"And you know, Su Qin is... extrely cunning. I’m worried that if she learns how important Lu Xiao is to you, she’ll hold him hostage to control you."

Liu Mingshu’s strength was beyond question, achieving Hua Jin at thirty, and now she is at the Peak of Hua Realm.

Such a powerhouse was imnsely attractive to any clan of the Goo Family.

Su Qin is so crafty, she could definitely pull off a move like using the emperor to command the princes.

Liu Mingshu also fell silent; Su Yan’s words were very reasonable.

The more she showed her concern for Lu Xiao, the more dangerous he would beco, and the less likely Su Qin would be to let go.

"Damn it! Why did it have to be Su Qin!" Liu Mingshu cursed angrily.

If it were a regular mber of the Su Family, she could even resolve the issue with direct violence.

But not with Su Qin...

Su Qin held a very high status within the Su Family, practically being grood as the next Family Head.

Touching Su Qin could an the entire Su Family would co out in full force to retaliate.

"Master Liu, don’t panic just yet, it’s not necessarily Su Qin who is the examiner."

"I only reported Lu Xiao’s na yesterday, and logically it shouldn’t be this fast. It should take at least a week."

"I heard before that Su Qin was gaining experience in Shengjing, and there was the Martial Arts Exchange a couple of days ago. Perhaps they t there."

Liu Mingshu nodded, Su Yan’s reasoning seed rather credible.

"First, take to see Su Qin. I want to find out her purpose," Liu Mingshu decided to still seek out Su Qin.

"Alright." Su Yan didn’t refuse any longer.

After all, it had been a year or two since she last saw her cunning younger sister.

About forty minutes later, Su Yan and Liu Mingshu arrived at the door of a guesthouse.

The guesthouse was a three-story western-style building that had been repainted white, and spotlights and light strips had been installed on the exterior walls.

At first glance, it indeed had a bit of the petty bourgeoisie air about it.

There was even a yard in front of the guesthouse, filled with various plants and flowers.

And there were all sorts of light strips among the plants...

The mont they entered the yard, they saw Su Qin.

Su Qin was sitting on a small bamboo stool, wearing a floral dress, with a white fan in her hand, gently fanning herself.

"Ha! Still the sa as before, pretending to be a white lotus." Su Yan humd directly, her eyes almost rolling to the heavens.

On the small bamboo stool, Su Qin did not show any anger at Su Yan’s words, her face still brimming with a smile.

"Sister, please sit."

"Master Liu, please sit."

Su Qin slowly rose to her feet, her lips parted slightly, emitting a soft and pleasant voice.

Clearly, Su Qin was not mute at all; it was impossible for her to be mute—the Su Family would never train a deaf or mute successor as their next Family Head.

It was fortunate that Lu Xiao wasn’t present. If he had been there, he would have seriously questioned life itself.

It seems there is absolutely no trust left between people!

Su Yan and Liu Mingshu took their seats without any courtesy, sitting down on the small bamboo stools next to Su Qin.

"Sister, did you want to see for sothing?" Su Qin glanced at Su Yan, her attitude extrely cordial and her smile disconcertingly warm.

But for Su Yan, the nicer Su Qin behaved, the more uncomfortable she beca.

We grew up together since we were little; it’s one thing to put on an act in front of others, but who are you trying to disgust by doing it in front of ?

"I wanted to see you," Liu Mingshu interjected.

Su Qin was sowhat surprised; she had thought Su Yan had brought Liu Mingshu just to make an impression.

Although Liu Mingshu had left the Goo Clan, no one within the entire clan dared to underestimate her.

Reaching Hua Jin at thirty, she was the most talented individual in the Goo Clan in the last hundred years.

Nobody knew how strong Liu Mingshu was now; she hadn’t made a move in twenty years.

If Liu Mingshu managed to break through the Hua Jin, that would be truly terrifying.

"Master Liu, please speak," Su Qin stood up, showing humility.

Liu Mingshu was silent for two seconds before she slowly began: "It’s nothing important. I just wanted to inquire about the purpose of your visit."

Su Qin’s eyebrows rose slightly, "To answer Master Liu, Su Qin is here in Shengjing for experience."

"Since it’s for experience, why investigate my information? May I interpret that as you seeking death?" Liu Mingshu’s eyes narrowed slightly, her formidable presence surged outwards, directly pressing against Su Qin.
