Eyes wide with disbelief, Danzō stared blankly at his torso, as his chest suddenly burst apart into a massive hole of mangled flesh, dying so brutally that it was unbearable to watch.
"What?!"
Hatake Kakashi and both sides' ninja looked on, terrified out of their wits!
Yet Chiyu rely let out a derisive laugh.
"Enough pretense. Co out, Shimura Danzō."
Kakashi and the others were thoroughly stunned.
They had clearly just seen Danzō slain utterly—why was Chiyu-sama saying that? Could it have been genjutsu? No, that was impossible…
Not even Kakashi's Sharingan perceived any sign of an illusion, so how…?
The very next mont, before their stunned gazes—
Shimura Danzō reappeared.
He stood in exactly the sa spot as if he had materialized from thin air, or, perhaps, had never left at all! As though… nothing at all had happened.
Of course, Chiyu knew perfectly well that this was the man's final trump card—a forbidden Uchiha technique:
Izanagi.
He had long suspected that Danzō's Izanagi wasn't obtained only after the Uchiha Downfall.
In fact, the Uchiha clan itself held no knowledge of this technique— Chiyu's role as commander of the Police Force gave him direct access to all clan records, finding no ntion of the technique's usage or transmission, only references stating it once existed in the Warring States Era and was banned due to grave consequences, eventually vanishing from history.
In short, it was probably not the Uchiha who'd passed on Izanagi to Danzō at all, but the ones most likely to know were Tobirama Senju or Orochimaru.
And now Danzō's display of Izanagi confird that guess.
Danzō frowned. "You… you're aware of this technique?!"
Chiyu spoke coldly. "Izanagi."
"Shimura Danzō, you think to use my Uchiha clan's forbidden jutsu against ?"
Those words didn't leave Kakashi or the rest particularly shocked— they'd never heard of it. Danzō rely fell silent.
"Uchiha Chiyu… I see I underestimated you. I never imagined you'd have uncovered the secrets of a technique said to be lost even within the Uchiha clan."
With that, he carefully unwrapped the bandages around his right arm, exposing the Hashirama cells of the Wood Release, along with… five sinister Sharingan eyeballs, spinning in grim, eerie alignnt!
At once, everyone felt their skin crawl.
"T-Those are… Sharingan?!"
Kakashi and Shito among them felt equal parts horror and disgust, practically ready to vomit.
"How on earth did Danzō get such a revolting power…?"
Danzō observed Chiyu in silence. "All these were taken from the corpses of Uchiha clan mbers. Seeing them must make you furious, right?"
Yet Chiyu remained indifferent, letting out only a mocking laugh: "Only five?"
Danzō hesitated.
What's with this man? I revealed five Sharingan to anger him, and he stands so calm, even mocking for having only five?! Does this man truly have no humanity, like a demon…?
anwhile, the first Sharingan on his arm slowly closed, entirely losing its light and sinking into darkness.
"Four left…"
Danzō gazed at his arm.
"That's about four minutes of duration… aning four minutes in which I can attack without fear of death."
Yes, Izanagi's Sharingan doesn't equal one "life" per eye, but rather each eye grants a tifra of invulnerability. In that tifra, no matter how many tis he "dies," it's null and void.
Thus, with Izanagi active, he had no reason to fear any risk. He could fight absolutely recklessly.
Danzō, plus the Edo Tensei forms of "Konoha's White Fang" Hatake Sakumo, Uchiha Setsuna, and others—together they encircled Chiyu, preparing for a decisive clash.
He had to finish it within four minutes.

All at once, from his right-arm's Hashirama cells, countless wood-vine tendrils erupted, surging toward Chiyu's Susanoo with shocking might.

But that blow never fell.

Danzō froze.
Chiyu let out a disdainful laugh. "Danzō, you think I'd stand here and let you keep reviving, over and over, whittling down my chakra? Overly naive."
"Your Izanagi is pointless in my eyes."
"Now… face judgnt!"
"Magatsuhi no Kami - Prayers of the Malefic Deity!"
A sudden ominous red glow from Chiyu's right Mangekyō Sharingan swallowed Danzō in one breath. He plunged into a ntal Hell, consud by boundless scarlet karmic flas.
Izanagi?
