Caesar Clown actually struck first.

He hurled a Gastanet straight at Chiyu—one of his signature moves from the Gas-Gas Fruit. It was basically a rigged gas bomb hidden in a device, designed to explode the mont it hit its target.

Not that it mattered.

Chiyu didn't even move.

BOOM!

The explosion thundered across the island—but when the smoke cleared, Chiyu stood there, crackling with lightning. Not a scratch on him.

Caesar blinked in disbelief, then scoffed.

"Tch. No wonder they say you've got one of the strongest Logia powers out there."

"Uchiha Chiyu… you're a pain in the ass."

"But let's see how long you last in my 'Land of Death!"

He swept his hand, and waves of thick purple poison gas surged toward Chiyu from all directions.

Chiyu didn't flinch.

He vanished.

In a flash, he reappeared with his blade—Shusui—now coated in Armant Haki, transford into a pitch-black katana.

One clean motion.

A slash blurred through the air.

Caesar tried to dodge—but he wasn't fast enough. The slash tore right through him.

He howled.

Even though his body was made of gas, Chiyu's Haki-infused blade cut through him like butter.

"Damn it!"

Caesar roared, summoning his giant salamander sli, which opened its jaws wide and lunged to swallow Chiyu whole.

But Chiyu just smirked—and summoned a thunderbolt.

CRACK!

It struck the sli head-on and blew it to bits in one electrified blast.

The explosion rattled the entire island.

Just like in the original tiline, the Salamander Fruit's power jumped to a nearby apple inside the lab.

"Sli—!"

Caesar stared in horror. That sli had been his prized creation.

"Uchiha Chiyu, you bastard!"

"I'm done playing—Karakuni!!"

With a roar, Caesar spread his arms and sucked every last drop of oxygen out of the area.

The air vanished. The battlefield turned into a vacuum.

No air. No hope. Nothing could survive in this zone.

Too bad Chiyu had already teleported out of range.

"Cute trick," he said from a distant rock.

Caesar grit his teeth, frustrated.

"Nothing's working on this guy!"

"Fine. Try this—Nenshokei: Miok Gas!"

He opened his jaws and fired a searing stream of gas, burning like a laser cannon. Hot enough to lt steel. It roared across the battlefield.

Chiyu blinked again—gone before it could even graze him.

"Uchiha Chiyu! Stop zipping around like so damn monkey!"

Chiyu looked calmly back at him.

"You know why I haven't killed you yet?"

"W-what…?!"

"Because the things you've done… are disgusting. I'm not letting you off easy. You're going to taste despair first."

"Just like Orochimaru did."

"Orochimaru? Who the hell is that?!"

Chiyu didn't answer. He was done talking. Now he was just toying with Caesar.

"Blue Sword!"

Caesar summoned a sword wrapped in eerie blue fire—burning so hot it scorched the air itself. He swung hard.

Chiyu didn't hesitate.

Shusui surged with 70–80% of its full power—

CRACK!

The Blue Fla Blade shattered into pieces.

"What—?!"

Caesar gasped and stumbled backward, breathing hard.

"You feel that?" Chiyu asked, slowly walking forward.

"That's despair. Think about all those people you experinted on… innocent civilians, kids, the elderly—people who couldn't fight back."

Caesar snarled.

"They should be grateful! Being used in my experints was the only way those worthless bugs could contribute to the world!"

Chiyu gave him a cold, pitying look.

"You really are scared of not dying painfully enough, huh?"

He stopped talking.

Lightning exploded around him. Chiyu vanished—

—and reappeared right behind Caesar.

BOOM!!

Shusui, glowing with lightning and wrapped in Haki, ca down like a guillotine.

SLASH—SLASH—SLASH—SLASH!

Both arms. Both legs. Gone.

"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!"

Caesar's screams echoed across Punk Hazard.

His poisonous gas field collapsed imdiately. His body hit the ground—limbless, helpless.

Still, he tried to escape—turning into gas…

But Chiyu casually pierced Caesar's heart with Shusui.

The blade didn't glow with Haki.

"Try moving. I activate Haki, and your heart bursts like a waterlon."

"Don't believe ? Go ahead and find out."

Caesar didn't dare.

Everyone feared Uchiha Chiyu—for good reason.

Dragging Caesar's twitching body behind him, Chiyu stepped into the lab.

Inside, Law, Monet, and Franky were deep in chaos. Law had already switched sides, but Caesar's lab was crawling with goons, and the rescue mission for the children wasn't going well.

Then another problem walked in:

Vergo.

A veteran under Doflamingo. Loyal since childhood. Law knew him well.

"So you really did betray Doffy, huh?" Vergo said coldly.

His entire body was coated in black—Armant Haki covering every inch. He held a bamboo stick wrapped in the sa deadly aura.

In Doflamingo's crew, no one used Haki better than Vergo.

Law wasn't strong enough yet—not like he'd be in a few years.

His Haki wasn't fully developed, and his Op-Op Fruit wasn't enough. He couldn't even land a scratch.

Vergo crushed him in close combat.

"And you thought you could be a Warlord?" Vergo sneered.

"You're not even worth stepping on."

anwhile, Blade and Box had managed to pin Monet, and Franky had found the children, leading them toward an escape.

That's when Chiyu walked in—with Caesar still impaled on his sword.

Vergo and Monet both turned, stunned.

"Uchiha Chiyu… it's really you."

"Let Caesar go," Vergo ordered, still holding Law down.

Chiyu didn't even blink.

"Vergo, huh? Shouldn't you be running the G5 base? What are you doing here?"

Vergo didn't react. Chiyu being a Vice Admiral explained a lot.

"I'm here to arrest you," Vergo said flatly.

Chiyu laughed.

"Drop the act."

"I know you're Doflamingo's inside man in the Marines."

Vergo's face darkened.

"How… how do you know that?"

"You don't get to ask questions."

"Caesar's going to die. But not quickly."

At that mont, Franky burst in with the kids.

"Chiyu‑san! That bastard really was experinting on them!"

"I figured," Chiyu replied.

"Franky. Blade. Box. Go gather all of Caesar's little toys."

They didn't know why, but they obeyed.

Soon, everything was stacked before Chiyu—drugs for gigantifying humans, unfinished SAD, nerve toxins, bizarre inhuman experints. A mountain of horror.

Chiyu turned to Caesar.

"You love your work, right?"

"Then eat it."

Caesar scread and flailed in panic.

"No—NO!!"

His face twisted with pure terror. Even Vergo, Monet, and Law looked shaken.

"You…" Vergo growled.

"If you do this, you're declaring war on Doflamingo!"

"Not just him," he added.

"Caesar's got business ties with Kaido and Big Mom too. You'll make enemies of two Emperors!"

Chiyu didn't even blink.

He shoved every last piece of poison and chemical into Caesar's mouth.

Everyone watched in stunned silence.

Caesar's body convulsed violently—twisting, mutating, sprouting tentacles, boils, extra limbs and organs.

So parts ballooned, others shrank. He beca a writhing nightmare of flesh and gas.

And then—

BOOM!!!

Caesar exploded into a rainbow-colored mass of bubbling gore.

Franky had already made sure the kids couldn't see it.

Everyone else stood frozen.

The air still hissed where Caesar's corpse boiled on the floor.

Chiyu calmly looked down.

"Eye for an eye. Tooth for a tooth."

"Justice never misses."
