Although this trace of Spiritual Charm was extrely precious, it was not essential for Lu Yu. Despite feeling a hint of regret, he accepted the reality.
The words of Lu Yu reassured the Bull Demon King and his wife, who really did not want to make an enemy of such a profound and inscrutable expert.
"Haha, my dear, I told you, Mr. Lu is a True Immortal with great virtue. How could he harm our child over re Spiritual Charm? Since Mr. Lu is here today, and it’s rare that our unborn child has such a connection with him, why not ask him to na our child?"
The proposal of the Bull Demon King took Lu Yu by surprise, but he soon realized he was indirectly becoming a part of history. Smiling, he said, "Given that this child has obtained this Spiritual Charm, he will certainly develop Great Divine Power with the Samadhi True Fire in the future. Let us call him Red Child!"
"Red Child." The Bull Demon King and his wife savored the na, feeling a special intuition as if it were indeed ant for their child. Being knowledgeable, they naturally understood that this na was inherently special.
"Thank you, sir, for the na!" They thanked Lu Yu.
"You need not thank . This is the child’s destiny and his tribulation. I only hope he will have a smooth future!" Lu Yu waved his hand as he spoke.
His thoughts, however, drifted to the future he knew about. He seed to already see the Child Servant, Sudhana, standing before Bodhisattva Guanyin. He wondered what Red Child would feel then.
The Bull Demon King and his wife noticed that Lu Yu had entered a peculiar state of mind. The ambiance around him flowed like water, a vast aura enveloping them with an air of ages, as if transforming seas into mulberry fields before their eyes, making them hold Lu Yu in even higher regard.
"Sorry, I was lost in thought!" Lu Yu apologized as he ca out of his reverie, addressing the Bull Demon King and his wife.
"No matter, no matter. Sir, being in such a profound state, just by observing you, my wife and I have gained significant insights. It’s a blessing, and I, Old Ox, wouldn’t mind experiencing it a few more tis," the Bull Demon King said. He seed simple but was a true sage in his words, his speech tight and cordially enthusiastic.
"I haven’t asked yet what brings you and Great Saint here?"
"Our ancestor directed us here, telling us there is a fortune to be had. Just now, seeing a red light fall from the sky, we wanted to investigate when we t you,"
"To be honest, I too ca for this red light, which was originally a Fire Brick from the Eight Trigrams Furnace of the Supre Elderly Lord, having fallen to the mortal realm. I have collected it, but the greatest opportunity has indeed fallen into your hands."
Upon hearing this, the Bull Demon King initially did not understand Lu Yu’s aning. After thinking for a long ti, he finally realized, "So the greatest opportunity lies here!" he said, gently caressing Princess Iron Fan’s abdon. He could feel a tiny life forming inside, with a unique charm nestled within the small body.
"With this matter settled, I have other urgent matters to attend to, so I must take my leave!" Despite the Bull Demon King and his wife’s attempts to make him stay, Lu Yu took his leave.
Watching Lu Yu’s retreating figure, Princess Iron Fan remarked, "Mr. Lu indeed has an extraordinary presence. I have always lived above Rakshasa Kingdom, underestimating the heroes of this world."
Seeing his usually proud wife utter such unusual words, the Bull Demon King burst into laughter, "Such n as Mr. Lu are indeed rare, but together, we are not far behind."
Princess Iron Fan looked at the spirited Bull Demon King, her heart filled with tenderness. She loved him just for this inexplicable boldness.
"Just now, Mr. Lu ntioned that the Fire Bricks ford a Mountain of Flas, did the Elder Lord give us the Plantain Fan because he wanted us to guard this mountain?" Bull Demon King pondered.
As they traveled together, they soon saw a large mountain ahead, engulfed by towering flas. The terrifying heat waves swept in all directions making the whole world seem ablaze.
Princess Iron Fan pulled out her Plantain Fan and waved it five tis, which barely managed to suppress the flas a little. However, she was pregnant at the ti, and her mana was not as strong as before, making her exhausted after just five swings.
With a slight frown on her willow-leaf eyebrows, she said, "I fear that no one could live within a thousand miles of Fla Mountain. Even with the Plantain Fan, it might not be enough to extinguish the flas completely. We can only wait for the fires to weaken over ti."
After discussing, they decided to travel further northwest to see if there was a suitable place. Shortly, another large mountain appeared before them, covered with lush greenery, resembling a green screen.
Just with one look, Princess Iron Fan fell deeply in love with the place. She said to the Bull Demon King, "How about we settle down here?"
At that mont, the newlyweds were deeply in love. The Bull Demon King, with his heart entirely devoted to Princess Iron Fan, naturally did not oppose.
"Yes, since it will be our future ho, we should choose a good na for it."
Bull Demon King thought for a while and said, "This mountain stretches for thousands of miles, much like a green screen—let’s call it Green Screen Mountain."
In the Zhongzhou region of Great Chen, under a night sky enveloped by darkness, a bonfire burned vigorously. The orange flas emitted warmth dispelling the night’s chill. A middle-aged man in a Taoist robe sat idly by the fire, absentmindedly poking at the embers with a stick.
His face was weathered, but a closer look would reveal the refined features of his youth.
"Xu Ziming, you seem really relaxed!" a young voice ca from the darkness. Soon after, a young man in a black robe erged, his handso features carried a sowhat cynical expression.
"Sigh, back then, you were so spirited, towering over our generation so much that we couldn’t even lift our heads. If you hadn’t been so set on pursuing the Heavenly Gate Foundation Establishnt, how would you have ended up like this?" The young man seed shocked by Xu Ziming’s appearance and couldn’t help but express his feelings.
The words of the young man seed to evoke distant mories in Xu Ziming. Yes, he had once been just as spirited.
Yet in his heart, he held no regrets. If given another chance, he would probably pursue the Heavenly Gate Foundation Establishnt just as determinedly, driven by his inner pride.
"The matters of this world are sotis hard to define as right or wrong. After all, this was my choice, and I have no complaints or regrets!" At this mont, Xu Ziming’s eyes were bright, seemingly sparkling with a special light, which even made the young man take a second look.
"This version of you is the Xu Ziming I know. I thought you had lost your spirit, but it turns out you’ve never changed," the young man spoke with a mix of sighs and regrets. He had once considered Xu Ziming as his greatest rival in life, never expecting him to waste half of his life.
