He only taught him the ordinary thods of cultivation for mortals; how could it have such miraculous effects?

Under the impetus of this warm current, Chen Xiang walked faster and faster, quickly weaving through the dense forest. He could feel that he was getting closer and closer to the Demon.

Bursting out of the thick jungle, a strong stench assaulted his nose, confirming to Chen Xiang that his destination was right in front of him. He cautiously approached the deep cave not far away.

That place was the source of the stench and also Chen Xiang's goal; his little friends were there.

The cave was deep and shadowy. Two children were shivering in the dark. As Chen Xiang walked in, the entire cave fell eerily silent, with only the sound of his footsteps.

When Chen Xiang's face appeared before the two children, their expressions of surprise and joy could no longer be contained. The little boy had already started crying, "Brother Chen Xiang, you've been captured too, woo woo."

"Shh, I haven't been captured. I'm here to rescue you," whispered Chen Xiang, covering the mouths of the two crying children, speaking softly into their ears. The Demon was not yet back; it was the perfect ti to escape. If not now, then when?

Chen Xiang, holding the two children, carefully made their way toward the outside of the cave. Just then, a thunderous noise erupted— a giant Crow descended from the sky, its wings whipping up a gale throughout the cave, causing the two children to panic in fright. Fortunately, Chen Xiang remained calm, gently soothing their fears.

"How strange, why do I sll the scent of humans?" murmured the Demon, following the scent towards Chen Xiang.

The pungent stench grew closer, and Chen Xiang knew he had been exposed. He whispered to the children to hide, then charged out to confront the Demon himself.

The mont he charged out, he was t with the sight of the Demon's massive gaping mouth. It seed surprised by Chen Xiang's bravery, a glint of disbelief passing through its eyes, followed by a bout of boisterous laughter, "I didn't expect my delicious al to co to ."

Clearly, it didn't see Chen Xiang as a threat and instead regarded him as a delectable al.

Chen Xiang's expression grew stern, the mysterious technique within his body spinning ceaselessly, a faint golden glow emanating from his body, with a subtle feeling that sothing was about to manifest within him.

At that mont, the Demon sensed sothing amiss about Chen Xiang, a flicker of panic crossing its face. It spread its wings and with a gust, swept Chen Xiang into the air, plunging him straight into the water.

Chen Xiang imdiately lost consciousness, his mind seemingly drifting with the current to a mysterious place where a gentle and beautiful woman was looking at him with joy.

For so reason, seeing her imdiately brought him imnse comfort. A word lingered on his lips, but he couldn't bring himself to speak it.

The woman embraced Chen Xiang, tears rolling down her cheeks, falling upon his face and imparting a warmth.

"Child, I'm sorry!" the woman's tender voice rang in Chen Xiang's ear, the loving tone intoxicating him. The word "mother" had always been a taboo in his heart, for years he had wanted to ask his father where his mother was, but the sight of his father's lancholic face made him hold back his questions.

Sotis he envied those children who got into trouble and were dragged ho by their mothers' ears. He had imagined his mother's image countless tis, but he had never been able to picture her face.

"Mother!" Chen Xiang murmured the word, his heart filled with joy. He had thought he would resist, but to his surprise, he called out naturally.

The Third Holy Mother was now in tears, holding her child, unwilling to let go for even a mont, as if to make up for years of guilt.

Craddling Chen Xiang's tender cheeks, the Third Holy Mother examined him closely. The boy had grown well; Liu Yanchang had taken great care in raising him. His features resembled her own, as well as those of her invincible brother. Surely, he would grow into a handso man.

"You've grown so big. I'm sorry, Mother can't stay by your side," whispered the Third Holy Mother into Chen Xiang's ear.

Chen Xiang lifted his head to comfort his mother, wanting to ask her where she had been all these years, but then he suddenly heard an old voice echoing in the heavens, "Third Lady, ti is up. Co back. The True Monarch is coming."

He felt his mother was about to leave him again and couldn't help but cling tightly to her, crying out in tears like a child, "Mother, are you going to leave again?"

Tears stained the Third Holy Mother's face as she said, "Child, I'm sorry. Mother can't be by your side, but Mother loves you."

Holding her child, the Third Holy Mother didn't want to let go, yet a commanding voice then reached her ears, "Third Lady, return to ."

Chains seed to materialize from the heavens, wrapping around the Third Holy Mother and dragging her into the sky. Chen Xiang was stunned by the sight, and the mont the commanding voice sounded, he shivered uncontrollably, a mix of awe and fear of a powerful force, a feeling he only had in dreams when he t the mysterious man in the green robe.

Watching as his mother was pulled farther away, Chen Xiang rushed forward, the naless technique fiercely circulating within him, as if endless strength filled his body, his speed increasing to the point where he seed to fly. But still, he couldn't catch even the hem of his mother's garnt.
