He also put away his contempt, pulled back his lips, and his sharp teeth flashed with a cold light as he said, "Very good, only a soul like this is worthy of becoming my Chang Gui."

As soon as his words fell, his figure turned into a streak of black lightning, charging over with great speed. Chen Xiong quickly readied his spear to et the enemy, but he discovered that the chilling tiger claws were already close at hand. If it weren't for the instinctive reaction of his body, that strike alone would have cost Chen Xiong his life on the spot.

This strike ushered in the Mountain Lord's call to attack, a pair of tiger claws transford into a violent storm, incessantly assaulting Chen Xiong. Chen Xiong didn't dare to be the slightest bit negligent, mobilizing the power of the military formation, wielding his iron spear so tightly that not even the wind could get through.

With the power of two thousand soldiers concentrated in himself, Chen Xiong barely managed to withstand the Mountain Lord's offensive. However, as ti passed by, the frequency of the Mountain Lord's attacks grew faster, while Chen Xiong gradually ran out of strength. The power borrowed from his fellow soldiers weakened progressively, the speed of his spear beca increasingly sluggish, and before long, a few streaks of blood appeared on his body, bringing the situation to a critical point.

Just as the soldiers were sinking into despair, a Holy Light suddenly shone through the darkness, bright and warm, like a sharp sword piercing through the dark. A childlike voice rang out, "Chen Xiong, you're really losing face for your master, unable to deal with such a little demon."

Though the voice was childish, it carried imnse arrogance. Upon hearing it, the Mountain Lord beca furiously enraged. Although he wasn't counted among those famous Demon Kings, he was, after all, a Greater Demon who had cultivated for many years, and now he was humiliated by a re child.

"What brat dares to speak like this? Show yourself to this Mountain Lord imdiately! Your voice doesn't sound old, but you are quite bold," the Mountain Lord roared angrily.

"If I must co out, then I will. You, little tiger, have quite the temper." The childish voice rang out again, and a young boy, delicate as a carved jade, hopped and skipped out from within the Holy Light.

Looking at Chen Xiong, who was gasping for air, he laughed and said, "How embarrassing, let relieve you of this burden." After saying that, he even raised his little fists and waved them vigorously in the air, looking adorable.

The surrounding soldiers looked at this porcelain doll-like child, feeling very reluctant in their hearts. The fierce and terrifying tiger demon, in sharp contrast with the delicate Little White Elephant.

Only Chen Xiong felt at ease. He was well aware of Little White Elephant's abilities. In Mountain Luoxia, how many powerful demons had beco as docile as a baby in front of this little ancestor—those were bona fide battle achievents.

The Mountain Lord stared at the child who walked out from the light, but deep inside, a strong feeling of fear erged. It was a kind of fear originating from his bloodline, seeing him was like facing a natural enemy.

"Who exactly are you?" the Mountain Lord asked warily, his voice involuntarily carrying a note of weakness. The suppression from the bloodline made it impossible for him to exert his full strength.

"What a cute little tiger, you look quite delicious," Little White Elephant said with a laugh, his innocent face shining with a bright smile.

Yet this angelic smile appeared as a devil's grin to the Mountain Lord, who couldn't help but shiver in the presence of Little White Elephant.

The pride of once being the King of Beasts made it impossible for the Mountain Lord to accept his display of weakness. He roared in anger, but the roar that ca out of his mouth was feeble and powerless, like a kitten wing.

The oppression from the bloodline was so fearso. The Mountain Lord never managed to break through the bloodline's limitation and was hence restrained by Little White Elephant. The flas of anger burned fiercely in his heart, and on his dark surface, flas seed to begin to appear. It was the Mountain Lord starting to burn his own soul.

As the proud King of Beasts, even in death, he could not accept such humiliation. Thus, he chose to burn his own soul to relieve the suppression rooted in his bloodline with pain.

The effect was clear. The Mountain Lord could distinctly feel the bloodline's suppression gradually weakening, and his courage and pride seed to have returned.

"Roar, I want to tear you to shreds!" the Mountain Lord bellowed in rage, his sanity beginning to blur due to the burning of his soul. His sanguine eyes were fixed dead on the Little White Elephant not far away, as a cold, unrestrained murderous intent filled the air.

The Little White Elephant stood before the Mountain Lord, utterly bored, silently watching his performance, with a mischievous smile hanging on his small face.

This smile deeply wounded the Mountain Lord's proud heart, pushing him, already teetering on the edge of madness, into a complete breakdown, as he frantically attacked the Little White Elephant.

At that mont, the Mountain Lord seed to have nothing but animal instinct left, like a wild tiger unceasingly attacking the Little White Elephant, yet unable to even touch the hem of the little one's clothes.

Despite this, the Mountain Lord seed impervious to fatigue, continuing his relentless onslaught. With a fierce pounce, his sharp claws were about to land on the Little White Elephant.

Yet the Little White Elephant rely leaped lightly into the air, soaring above the Mountain Lord's fierce attack that found nothing but empty space.

Gently landing, the Little White Elephant, like a naughty child, climbed onto the Mountain Lord's back. The frenzied Mountain Lord then felt as though a mountain had settled upon him, the heavy pressure forcing him to prostrate himself. But in his confusion, he flailed wildly, soon creating a deep pit in the ground.

However much he struggled, the Little White Elephant remained firmly seated on his back, utterly unchanged, as if his vigorous struggles and roars were nothing but a farcical act.

As ti passed, the Mountain Lord's reason gradually returned to him. The madness of his struggles also ceased. At this mont, he no longer had his previous arrogance, and, appearing extrely weak, he looked up at the Little White Elephant and pleaded, "Kill , please, kill !"

His imnse pride could accept his defeat, but not this kind of humiliating defeat. Thus, he pleaded with the Little White Elephant to end this humiliating behavior, to grant him a quick death.

The Little White Elephant had intended to play a bit longer but, catching a glimpse of the Mountain Lord's eyes, suddenly found the whole thing disgustingly tasteless. So, he hopped off the Mountain Lord's body, tossing him high into the sky. Enveloped in Holy Light, a colossal, brilliantly shining white elephant erged in the valley, swallowing the Mountain Lord whole as he hovered in the air.

As the white Holy Elephant appeared before him, the Mountain Lord was assailed by mories from his bloodline—a mory from ancient tis, when a tiger was feasting on its prey in the forest. Suddenly, a white Holy Elephant appeared before it.

The Holy Elephant stood towering, radiating dazzling light, seemingly locked in battle with so terrifying entity. Massive shockwaves swept through heaven and earth, and the surrounding mountains turned to dust in an instant. The terrified tiger ran for its life, taking an unknown amount of ti to escape the edges of the battle, with a formidable gale blowing in its face—the aftermath of the combat.

The imposing image of the Holy Elephant was embedded deeply in the tiger's mind, unforgettable for a lifeti. It was passed down through his bloodline for generations.

"So there are such beings in this world!" the Mountain Lord muttered to himself before his death. He felt as if he had glimpsed a brand-new world—a world entirely different from the present, a world that inspired longing. It was a pity that he would have no chance to experience its splendor any longer.

After swallowing the Mountain Lord, the gigantic Holy Elephant rapidly dissipated, transforming back into the cute appearance of the Little White Elephant. But no one saw him as cute anymore. It was this seemingly cute creature that had just swallowed that terrifying demon.

"The taste is so-so!" the Little White Elephant mumbled to himself with a touch of annoyance.

Then he turned to Chen Xiong and said, "Chen Xiong, hurry up and thank . This was a mission I snatched from Ruyi True Immortal. I did good by you, didn't I? If you have anything tasty, bring it out now."

Chen Xiong, however, gave a wry smile and replied, "My dear ancestor, I have pressing matters today and can't afford to play with you. Next ti I'm free, I'll treat you to the delicacies of the human world."
