Soon, the Demon walked out of the divine kingdom, emitting a natural aura that not even the most perceptive Divine Spirit could distinguish from the God of Forest. Having completely controlled the body, the Demon's power of deception was at its peak. At this mont, he could perfectly masquerade as the God of Forest, showing no signs of abnormality.

He headed north to a mountain peak shrouded in shadows, its summit connected to dark clouds, with Thunder streaking by from ti to ti. A heart-palpitating aura emanated from the mountain, chilling to the bone.

"Shadow God!" The Demon's voice pierced through the shadow and dark clouds, echoing between the mountains.

As his voice faded, a path erged from within the shadows, just wide enough for one person to traverse. The God of Forest wore a slight smile and casually strolled in.

A dark palace stood on the mountain peak, entwined with countless shadows. A light chuckle ca from the palace: "Isn't this the God of Forest, ousted by his own followers? Instead of crying in your divine kingdom, what brings you to ?"

"Of course, there is a matter I wish to discuss with you," the God of Forest responded softly, undisturbed by the mocking tone emanating from the palace.

His reaction was also unexpected to the person inside the palace, who spoke with a hint of surprise, "I didn't expect you to be so composed. Aren't you afraid the other Divine Spirits will object to you dealing with soone like ?"

The speaker was none other than the Shadow God and God of Murder of this world. As a deity in charge of conspiracy and murder, he was naturally disliked by most Divine Spirits. For this reason, he had lived alone for many years atop this shadow-veiled mountain, unconcerned with the conflicts among the Divine Spirits below.

Yet today, an uninvited guest arrived, prompting such a question.

A wry smile appeared on the God of Forest's face as he said, "My situation being as it is, I care little for face-saving. I have already beco the laughing stock among the gods. It no longer matters to ."

As he spoke, the God of Forest entered the great hall and saw a young man in a black robe—the Shadow God and God of Murder of this world.

The Shadow God was reclining on his Divine Throne, one leg propped high, his face bearing a carefree smile, as he looked with interest at the God of Forest who was entering.

"So, tell , what is it that you want?" the Shadow God and God of Murder asked softly.

The God of Forest replied with a smile, "I have co to save you."

"Save ? That's the biggest joke. I am a Divine Spirit, an immortal being. I hardly need your salvation," the Shadow God and God of Murder said with disdain. Being a deity who had lived through countless ages, how could he be easily manipulated by others? It was clear that the God of Forest was plotting sothing. He would not be tricked so easily.

To his surprise, the God of Forest showed no displeasure but spoke calmly, "As Divine Spirits, we need the faith of the human race to endure in this world, especially those who wield divine power as closely tied to the people as yours."

"And now, Arthur, wielding the Divine Sword, is set to beco the king of this world. Your followers are few, mostly blood kin from before you ascended to divinity. Without the support of power, I fear you will only fade away with ti."

The God of Forest's words left the Shadow God and God of Murder speechless. He knew the truth in those words. In fact, ever since he perceived Arthur's destiny, he had been troubled, uncertain about how to ensure his faith remained unhard. After all, his ascension to the Divine Position had not been long, and his divinity was closely tied to faith.

"Rather than sitting passively, why not strike decisively? The world indeed needs a King to face the crisis, but it doesn't have to be young Arthur. If we can kill him and seize his Treasured Sword, then cultivate our own king, we would certainly please the Will of the World and maybe even surpass our current standing."

The God of Forest's words seed to carry a strange magic, echoing in the Shadow God and God of Murder's ears and causing his heart to stir.

"Can we really do that?" he asked, sowhat unconfidently.

"Why not? The Will of the World has no emotions; it only sees the outco. As long as we follow destiny, even if it ans killing Arthur, what harm is there? Now, with the crisis upon us, all the Divine Spirits are scheming to advance further, to preserve themselves in the coming calamity. We, minor gods, must take risks if we hope to safeguard our lives in the future," the God of Forest said, adding fuel to the fire upon seeing the Shadow God and God of Murder's hesitation.

The Shadow God and God of Murder was moved. He had been stuck in the position of an Elentary God due to his faith-related constraints for so ti, unable to find a way forward. His divinity was unpopular among mortals, and even the other gods shunned him, making it hard to spread his doctrines and gain followers. His flock had always been sparse. If not for the support of his blood kin, he might have already fallen from his Divine Position.

Now, with such an excellent opportunity before him, how could he not be tempted? He stared intently at the God of Forest and asked, "Why co to ? Wouldn't it be better to act alone?"

A bitter smile appeared on the God of Forest's face as he said, "You know my situation. I have no power in the mortal realm, and having been expelled, my followers are in disarray. Trying to accomplish this alone is beyond . It's better to cooperate with you than to return empty-handed."
