"But looking at the appearance of these demons, they don't seem to be natives of this world," Xiao Qi slowly walked in front of the corpses of the demons, examining them closely before speaking.

Every creature in this world, influenced by the Holy Elephant, would possess so divine attributes to a greater or lesser extent, unlike these demons which exuded only a thick scent of blood.

"Just now, the fabric of space and ti shifted between heaven and earth, there's probably another gate sowhere else, leading to an unknown mountain peak, and summoned so many demons," Liu Qingyun speculated.

While the fellow disciples were conversing, the cultivators who had also entered this world encountered these unwelco guests. Compared to the ease of Liu Qingyun and his group, these people did not fare as well.

The demons that entered from Lion Cal City were none other than the elites picked by the three Demon Kings from a multitude of demons in the city, thus they outshone when facing weaker cultivators.

Innurable screams began to pierce through this realm, shattering its once peaceful existence.

The Ghost Scholar and Peach Blossom Maiden looked in astonishnt at the demons that suddenly appeared in front of them, sowhat at a loss. The formidable power and heavy sense of oppression made both of them tremble with fear, their hearts pounding wildly, wondering when such a powerful Demon King had appeared here.

By this ti, the Green Lion had recovered from the dizziness of passing through space and looked at the two humans before him with a cruel expression on his face.

"I didn't expect such tasty food to co to my door so soon." In speaking, the Green Lion inadvertently revealed his sharp fangs, which glead ominously in the sunlight.

"Let's go!" Without a second word, the Ghost Scholar grabbed the Peach Blossom Maiden and ran. Facing such a demon was clearly a losing battle, and to confront it would an certain death.

"Trying to run? Did you ask for my permission?" The Green Lion laughed heartily, then opened his huge mouth and roared, sending a massive sonic projectile hurtling toward them.

The projectile moved so fast that the Ghost Scholar could not react in ti before it hit, the great force throwing them far before they finally hit the ground, kicking up a cloud of dust.

The Ghost Scholar and Peach Blossom Maiden coughed up blood non-stop, the strike having robbed them of their ability to fight.

"Ha ha, too weak. Just be the food for this Great King obediently!" The Green Lion strode towards the two, his face showing the delight of a hunter capturing his prey.

Suddenly, a Fire Dragon appeared, heading straight for the Green Lion's face. The Green Lion quickly raised his Iron Fist to defend. The Fire Dragon engulfed the Green Lion, and when the blazing fire dissipated, the Green Lion erged unscathed. He looked towards where the Ghost Scholar and Peach Blossom Maiden had been, only to find they had been rescued by soone.

It was the old beggar and Golden Snake Granny who had entered afterward. They had been exploring this world and ca here upon hearing the commotion. Just as they found the Ghost Scholar and Peach Blossom Maiden in a perilous situation, the old beggar decisively lent a hand at the critical mont, knowing that apart from them, the Ghost Scholar pair was the only other capable force there.

If these two died, given the brutal nature of the demons, they themselves would not be able to escape. At this mont, they were all in the sa boat.

Using the Fire Dragon to stall the Green Lion, the old beggar and Golden Snake Granny grabbed the Ghost Scholar and Peach Blossom Maiden and sat on the giant snake summoned by the Golden Snake Granny, swiftly escaping into the distance. They were acutely aware of the Green Lion's strength; to confront such a demon, the power of a few individuals was insufficient. Only by gathering more cultivators could there be a possibility.

The Green Lion watched the fleeing group, his eyes flashing with excitent. He laughed loudly, "Now, this is interesting, but do you really think you can escape from with just this?"

The Green Lion pushed off the ground with force, leaping into the distance like a cannonball. In the blink of an eye, it heavily landed in front of the group, creating a huge crater in the earth, raising a cloud of dust and debris into the air.

The expressions of the four changed instantaneously, becoming exceptionally grave. They felt that they had already paid enough attention to this unknown Demon King, but now, it seed they had still underestimated this Demon Lord.

Ha ha ha, the Green Lion roared with laughter. Its Iron Fists already struck the giant snake summoned by the Golden Snake Granny. The imnse force instantly crushed the serpent's head, splattering blood in all directions, soiling the face of the Green Lion. The decapitated snake, driven by instinct, thrashed its body wildly.

The trendous force obliterated all the vegetation on the ground, and the Green Lion grabbed the dying, thrashing giant snake with one hand and tossed it aside as if discarding trash.

"It's your turn now; don't die too easily, otherwise, it would be too boring."

"Looks like we have no choice but to go all out," said the old beggar with a somber expression. They saw a cold murderous intent on the face of the Green Lion, knowing that he was determined to take their lives.

The individuals exchanged glances, each seeing the resolve in the others' eyes. The only plan for the mont was to fight to the death!

The old beggar roared and tore off his tattered clothes, his body seemingly growing extrely burly. His solid muscles looked completely at odds with his aged face.

The fist of the Green Lion t with the old beggar's in mid-air, and the resultant gust swept the surroundings. The old beggar's veins popped, and all his muscles trembled uncontrollably, clearly struggling.

A hint of surprise appeared on the Green Lion's face. He truly hadn't expected the human before him, who appeared sowhat aged, to harbor such formidable strength—it was beyond his expectations.

"Interesting, no wonder the human race has beco the protagonist of heaven and earth, indeed possessing extraordinary potential," even the Green Lion couldn't help but express such admiration.

"But that's still not enough."

With a loud bang, the old beggar was sent flying backward, leaving behind a trail of blood in the air. The Green Lion's power was so overwhelming that despite the old beggar's full effort, he could only hold him off for a mont.

Yet, that mont was enough for the Ghost Scholar to launch his attack. The Ghost Scholar, already far removed from his previous calm and collected deanor, now had a distorted expression on his face. A black aura enveloped his entire visage, making him look eerie and ferocious.

"Spirits of malevolence!" the Ghost Scholar shouted. Countless Ferocious Ghosts appeared behind him, forming a massive torrent that surged towards the Green Lion.

The Peach Blossom Maiden was not to be outdone. She gently waved her Peach Blossom Branch, and instantly nurous vines grew from the ground, winding around the Green Lion's body.

As soon as these vines touched the Green Lion's flesh, they sprouted white roots that desperately burrowed into his body. Soon blooms of splendid peach blossoms appeared on the vines, their fragrance overwhelming, yet they caused the Green Lion to feel dizzy and lightheaded. This spell could actually use the power of blood and flesh to convert into poison—it was utterly unforeseen and insidious.

Seeing her Spell take effect, the Peach Blossom Maiden revealed a hint of a smile on her face.
