After a while, the young man turned his head and looked at the middle-aged man, his face bearing a gentle smile that bore little resemblance to the sharpness he had displayed before. The middle-aged man found it hard to connect this person with the figure he had seen earlier, and he inwardly sighed, perhaps this was what was ant by 'still as a maiden but moving like thunder'.

"May I know why you have sought out?" Liu Qingyun asked with a gentle smile on his face, making the middle-aged man feel as if bathed in the warmth of spring.

He thudded to his knees, tears brimming in his eyes as he said, "I beseech the Immortal Chief to show rcy and save my son."

"What ails your son that requires my assistance?"

"My child has contracted so strange illness and is now wasting away day by day. He's on the brink of death." The middle-aged man wiped the tears from his face with his sleeve, looking forlorn.

"I am but an outsider to this world; when sick, one should seek a good doctor."

"The Immortal Chief may not be aware, but I have consulted countless doctors for my child's strange illness. I have summoned every renowned doctor within a thousand miles, yet no one could determine the cause of his sickness. Later, I spent a fortune to seek out experts, but to no avail."

Upon hearing this, Liu Qingyun's brow furrowed slightly; this illness indeed sounded rather tricky.

"Now I have no other choice but to plead with the Immortal Chief. I only hope that the Immortal Chief will take pity on us and take a look. If it is indeed fate, then my wife and I will have to accept it," the middle-aged man said, bowing his head.

"In that case, I shall visit your residence and see for myself what this ailnt is," Liu Qingyun said softly. To the middle-aged man, these words sounded like heavenly music. He looked up in surprise and joy at the young man before him, knowing that such a person was likely much older than even his own grandfather.

He hurriedly bowed his head in thanks, saying, "Thank you, Immortal Chief, for your rcy, thank you, Immortal Chief, for your rcy."

"We shouldn't delay. Let us set out now. Xiao Qi, bring the two little ones along as well, to give them so exposure to the world."

No sooner had Liu Qingyun spoken than a voice rang out from a nearby house agreeing to the instruction, and only then did the middle-aged man realize there was a young man in black lying idly on the roof, with a blade of green grass in his mouth that he seed to have plucked from sowhere.

To the middle-aged man's astonishnt, the youth in black flipped off the roof and, controlling the wind in midair, drifted towards the front courtyard.

"Please excuse my junior brother; he tends to be a bit indolent," Liu Qingyun said slightly apologetically.

The middle-aged man was quick to say he didn't mind. He had heard that this young man was of True Dragon Bloodline. The mory of him revealing his true form and soaring through the skies over Treasure Elephant Country was still vivid in his mind; he wouldn't dare to find fault.

In the blink of an eye, Xiao Qi had casually approached, with two little ones bouncing and jumping along behind him.

"Now that everyone is here, please lead the way," Liu Qingyun said with a smile.

The middle-aged man hurried forward to guide them. As they walked, guards and palace maids looked on with curiosity. After all, it was not every day that one saw an Immortal Master, and everybody was intrigued.

The journey out of the palace wasn't particularly long, but it left the middle-aged man sweating profusely and feeling imnsely uncomfortable. The pressure of being scrutinized by so many curious eyes weighed heavily on him until the mont they stepped out of the palace gates, at which point he quietly breathed a sigh of relief.

Once they reached the main street, the two little ones were obviously very excited, scampering here and there, pausing whenever they saw sothing they liked. Standing motionless, with their big eyes fixed on their elder apprentice brother, Liu Qingyun would often reveal a helpless smile and take out money to buy the items.

Watching this, the middle-aged man admired them even more, thinking that Liu Qingyun was exactly what an Immortal should be like, walking among mortals yet seeming as refreshing as a breeze, calming his anxious heart that had been worried about his children.

The distance wasn't far, but by the ti everyone arrived at the mansion, the two little ones were already carrying all sorts of things in their hands.

The middle-aged man knocked on the grand door and hurriedly instructed an old servant: "Quickly tell the madam that the Immortal Master has co, and to co out to welco him at once."

Upon hearing this, the old servant snuck a peek over his shoulder, saw Liu Qingyun and the others, and his face lit up with excitent. He turned and ran, shouting as he went, "Madam, madam, the master has brought back the Immortal Master."

The voice bood, imdiately spreading in all directions, and even the people outside the door heard the call, making the middle-aged man feel rather embarrassed.

Before he could say anything, his haggard wife had already run out hastily. Upon seeing Liu Qingyun and the others, she still looked at her husband with confusion.

These Immortal Chiefs were simply too young, and what's more, there were two children, making it seem sowhat unconvincing.

"What are you waiting for, don't you know to welco the great arrival of the Immortal Master!" the middle-aged man said with clear displeasure.

The woman glanced at her husband and quickly apologized with a bow, respectfully inviting everyone inside. As they walked in, she quietly tugged at her husband's sleeve and asked in a low voice, "Are you sure it's not a mistake? Why are they so young?"

"Young," the middle-aged man whispered back, "The Immortal Chiefs are blessed by the True Immortals, never aging in appearance. That young man in black is the Dragon Son, whom you've seen before."

At the ntion of Xiao Qi descending from the dark clouds, his head erging through them, the woman shivered, but her doubts completely dissipated. If such individuals could not heal her child, then she would have to accept her fate.

Led by the couple, Liu Qingyun and the others were guided to a room where they saw the patient lying on the bed, barely clinging to life.

Looking around, the house was adorned with great elegance, clearly belonging to soone who loved books. Books were everywhere, and landscape paintings hung on the wall—seemingly signed by Wang Renan, likely the na of the person lying on the bed. On the solid desk, there was a flowering plant that had started to wilt, yet it was still striving to bloom beautifully.

Liu Qingyun slowly approached, extended his hand, and gently touched Wang Renan's forehead. A sudden glint flashed in his eyes, conspicuously bright in the sowhat dim room.

The couple exchanged glances, both noticing the joy in each other's eyes. They had sought many reputed experts before, but none had such thods, which invoked hope in their hearts.

Liu Qingyun opened his Dharma Eye and carefully scanned Wang Renan's body. His expression grew increasingly grave, causing the couple's hearts to leap with apprehension.

"Has your child always been frail since childhood, or is this recent?" Liu Qingyun asked.

The middle-aged man was about to speak, but his eager wife cut in: "Although the child was never very robust, he was quite healthy. He's been free from illness until the past few years when he suddenly started to weaken. This year, it got so severe he couldn't even leave his bed, and he eventually fell into a coma."

"Has the condition beco even more serious recently?" Liu Qingyun continued to inquire.
