Under the illumination of light, shadows began to dissipate, and the whole space seed to enter into Reincarnation. Chang’e’s vision swirled, and that eerie, contradictory sensation vanished suddenly.

Hou Yi had not expected that Empress Hou Tu would be able to easily break his power. He furrowed his brows and looked at Hou Tu, saying, "Is this the power of this world? Truly peculiar, utterly contrary to ours."

Having said this, he transford into a mass of shadows, ready to vanish, but at that mont a Jade Ruyi suddenly appeared in the space, fixing the elents of earth, wind, fire, and water, and thwarting his plan to escape.

A Taoist with a dignified face walked out slowly. When Chang’e saw him, it was as if she had witnessed the creation of heaven and earth, the beginning of all things, and the origin of the Great Dao. This was one of the Three Purities of the Taoist Sect, Yuqing Yuanshi Heavenly Venerable.

"Yuqing Yuanshi Heavenly Venerable?" Possessing all of Hou Yi’s mories, he recognized the identity of the newcor imdiately. He knew that today he probably couldn’t escape—it was obviously a trap.

There had apparently been a miscalculation in the timing of his own resurrection, resulting in an attack by the still capable All Saints. This was not right, as he had already calculated that the ti of his resurrection would be the crucial period for the Saints’ pursuit of Transcendence, when they would all be in a peculiar state, hardly able to make a move. But the scene before him told him that sothing had gone wrong with his plan.

"Variable!" The word suddenly popped into his mind. All these abnormalities indicated that there had been unforeseeable variables that had caused a deviation in his arrangent, leaving him now caught in a trap.

"State your true identity!" The words of Yuanshi Heavenly Venerable echoed in this world, the voice authoritative and vast, as if coming from the distant heavens.

"Haha, why don’t you guess?" Hou Yi’s face was still smiling. Facing Yuanshi Heavenly Venerable, he showed no fear, instead surveying him with interest, his mind evidently pondering sothing.

"Do you think it’s just an avatar, and losing it would not affect you at all?" Yuanshi Heavenly Venerable continued to speak.

"Good that you know, this is just an avatar with a bit of my strength. If it is gone, it’s gone. But if you offend , when you seek Transcendence, I will be watching you. Then do not regret it," Hou Yi said with a threatening tone.

"You are still deceiving!" A voice of indifference rose as two Buddhist Saints slowly erged, surrounded by an intense glow.

The two Saints and Yuanshi Heavenly Venerable, after greeting Empress Hou Tu, said, "It seems that this guy’s true body has a power similar to deceit. Hence, he is very skillful at lying."

"Since the two distinguished Taoists are here, with your Telepathy, can you hear his inner thoughts?" Yuanshi Heavenly Venerable asked with a smile.

"Difficult. His inner thoughts are different from ours, composed of strange chaos and disorderly thinking. We simply cannot hear the voice of his heart, but we can discern the truth of his words," Jieyin replied gently, glancing at Hou Yi.

A smile spread across Hou Yi’s face: "Your Telepathy is indeed extraordinary, but to hear my inner thoughts is wishful thinking. I have always been the master of Nightmares, with ntal Power not inferior to yours."

"You are lying!" Jieyin coldly interrupted Hou Yi’s words.

"Hehe, it seems your abilities exceed my expectations. But I have been resurrected, and my true body has located the coordinates of your world. Soon, we will arrive from the outside and shatter your world."

"You are lying!" Jieyin spoke again.

"It seems that this benefactor’s true body must be an entity very adept at deceit, with lying becoming his instinct," Zhunti conjectured.

"Although what he says is not true, there must be a ruler of Nightmares within the Chaos; he rely borrowed the other’s na," Hou Tu also ventured a guess.

"You’re right," Jieyin spoke again.

It was then that Hou Yi began to feel the pressure from Jieyin. All his words and ntal activities seed to be perceived by this man, rendering his usually infallible deceit ineffective.

This made him decide to remain silent, to prevent these people from extracting more information.

"He is afraid!" Jieyin declared softly.

Suddenly, a Treasured Sword appeared between heaven and earth, with fearso power turning the space into a monochromatic image. The tip of the sword erged from the void, piercing the now silent Hou Yi, causing a spray of blood to burst forth. A pained expression appeared on Chang’e’s face as she looked worriedly at Hou Yi, whose body had been severed in half. That was the body of her husband, after all.

The body pierced by the Treasured Sword began to assu a black-and-white hue, as though turning into an ink painting. However, Hou Yi revealed a ferocious smile. The black-and-white body suddenly shattered into pieces, then quickly reassembled, reforming into the figure of Hou Yi, except that his complexion now appeared sowhat pale.

In the void, Tongtian Sect Leader, holding the Green Sword, stepped out slowly. Looking down at the half-corpse that had turned into a blank piece of paper on the ground, he slightly frowned and said, "It seems this kind of power can indeed harm them, but it’s a pity that they possess powerful regenerative abilities. They are unlikely to die before their energy is exhausted."

"It seems all you figures nearing Transcendence have gathered here today!" Hou Yi, having reassembled, said with a ferocious smile on his face.

"I advise you not to waste your efforts; you won’t get any useful information from ; it will only allow my true body to locate sooner."

"He is lying!"

Hou Yi imdiately turned his head, looking fiercely at Jieyin, who remained composed. Why was this bald monk so irritating?

But just as the thought passed, a large hand struck down upon his head, and the imnse force reduced his body to a mound of flesh in an instant. The intense Buddha Light ravaged him, making his physical form appear to emit chants of Zen.

He rapidly reconstituted his body, only to find his right arm had turned golden, and he could faintly hear chants from the Buddhist Sect emanating from the arm. This power seed to be repelling the unknown strange powers within him.

The smile on Hou Yi’s face gradually faded. He hadn’t expected there to be so many powers in this world that could restrain him. If his true body was careless, it might suffer greatly in the future.

At this mont, he desperately wanted to pass this information to his true body but found that the space was tightly suppressed by the Jade Ruyi, unable to let any ssage out.

"It seems you have got cornered?"
