The sun set, and a massive mushroom cloud appeared, with intense shockwaves sweeping in all directions, instantly turning all living creatures to ashes.

The Water Dragon King conjured a water wave into a towering wall, attempting to block the scorching heatwave. However, the heatwave proved to be far too powerful. The mountainous wall of water turned into steam the mont it made contact and danced up into the sky.

"Eastern Emperor Taiyi, how dare you!" The Water Dragon King’s eyes were wide with disbelief.

This was an apocalypse. How could Eastern Emperor Taiyi take such an action? Even if the Dragon Clan were to exit the stage of history, there were still countless innocents on the land. Why would Eastern Emperor Taiyi dare to do this? The karmic retribution of an apocalypse was surely not sothing that his position as the Heavenly Emperor could withstand. The Water Dragon King could not fathom it.

The shockwave swept past, and the countless Dragon Descendants taking refuge behind the Water Dragon King were instantly reduced to dust and smoke. The scorching sun brought down by Eastern Emperor Taiyi had targeted the gathering places of the Dragon Clan, and countless mbers had perished.

Dragons by nature were lustful, which led to their vast population. However, those descendants with impure bloodlines were not acknowledged by the Dragon Clan. The number of true-blooded mbers was not particularly large, and with this single blow, nearly half had been lost or injured. All the Dragon Kings were enraged.

They roared furiously to the heavens, declaring they would not share this world with the Divine Spirits and soared upward, determined to confront Eastern Emperor Taiyi in the Nine Heavens.

However, just as they flew into the air, an imnse cloud, appearing from nowhere, covered the sky and darkened the whole world.

"Cloud Spirit!" the Dragon Kings shouted angrily.

They had not expected this Divine Spirit, who always seed as carefree as a wild crane in the clouds, would personally intervene. This also ant that this was a war by the Divine Spirits against the Dragon Clan.

"I’ll handle him. You all hurry to the Nine Heavens and help our leader," the Winged Dragon King bellowed as he charged forward, entangling himself with the formidable Cloud Spirit.

The other Dragon Kings continued onward, but countless bolts of thunder descended from the sky, instantly enveloping them. The thunder, imbued with the aura of Heavenly Punishnt, was filled with a destructive intent that made the Dragon Kings halt in their tracks.

"Do not stop, keep moving forward, I will handle Leize," said the Wood Dragon King with a grave expression to everyone.

Leize simply laughed and said, "Good, since you are so confident, let et this Wood Dragon King who controls the Wood Elent."

A fierce battle began between them, with incessant thunder as if expressing the heavens’ wrath. Out of nowhere, a lush green capital manifested. The Wood Dragon King used his Divine Skills to construct a world of wood, catching all the thunderbolts.

Continuing forward, several other figures appeared, and it was none other than Lord Xiang and Lady Xiang, accompanied by the deathly shrouded, faceless Lord of Mount Tai.

Lady Xiang said with a smile, "I’m sorry, but this path is closed."

The Dragon Kings exchanged glances. The Water Dragon King and the Earth Dragon King stayed behind, for everyone knew the real deciding factor of the war would be the battle above the Nine Heavens. Thus, the Dragon Kings were eager to ascend and lend their help.

They were well aware that if Eastern Emperor Taiyi were to fall, then aside from the Great Minister of Fate and his devoted followers, the rest of the Divine Spirits would retreat without a fight.

However, the departing Fire Dragon King and the Golden Dragon King also knew that reaching the Nine Heavens would not be easy. All the Divine Spirits from the Primordial Chaos had shown themselves, and it would be very difficult to encounter the Eastern Emperor.

And sure enough, as the Fire Dragon King and the Golden Dragon King were about to reach the Nine Heavens, the figures of the Great Minister of Fate and his junior appeared before them.

"Do not think you can obstruct His Majesty’s actions!" the Great Minister of Fate said coldly.

The Fire Dragon King and the Golden Dragon King exchanged glances, knowing that the ti to give it their all had co. If they could get past this obstacle, they might be able to assist their clan leader and potentially change the course of the war.

As the roar erupted, the battle imdiately escalated to a fever pitch, with the two Dragon Kings attacking with such ferocity that it left both the Great and Minor Ministers of Fate at a loss for words.

Yet they were absolutely determined not to allow these two Dragon Kings to interfere with His Majesty’s battle. Strange auras erged, bringing countless misfortunes and curses upon the two Dragon Kings.

"You underestimate us," the Golden Dragon King roared to the sky, his body’s scales emitting a dazzling light, with astonishing Sword Qi materializing on each one.

"We must also thank that young man nad Hong Jun, for he showed new possibilities." The Golden Dragon King had once overheard Hong Jun expounding on the Sword Dao and had thus refined each of his scales into a Flying Sword.

When he deployed them at that mont, nurous Flying Swords burst forth from his body, their powerful blades seemingly tearing the very heavens and earth, leaving the Great and Minor Ministers of Fate struggling to cope.

"Go now!" the Golden Dragon King, drenched in blood, cried out anxiously. Those nurous Flying Swords were his own scales, and by now, his body was already soaked in blood.

Reluctantly casting a last look at the Great and Minor Ministers of Fate, the Fire Dragon King spread his wings and took flight, the Nine Heavens nearly within reach. Enjoy exclusive content from .Côm

The Great and Minor Ministers of Fate desperately tried to stop him, but they were hindered by the sky full of Sword light and couldn’t move an inch forward, watching helplessly as the Fire Dragon King ascended toward the Nine Heavens.

Breaking through the thick clouds, the Fire Dragon King saw the ongoing fierce battle between the War Dragon King and Eastern Emperor Taiyi not far away and was overjoyed, ready to join and help.

However, a flash before his eyes, and a surge of thick Purple Qi burst forth, materializing into a grand and majestic palace in the air, with a plaque made of White Jade hanging in the center, inscribed with three large characters: "Purple Cloud Palace."

"Hong Jun?" the Fire Dragon King murmured to himself. He had heard about this person, who preached to the world, but as the Dragon Clan was inherently proud, no one besides the Ancestral Dragon had visited the Purple Cloud Palace to listen to his teachings, though this did not hinder their knowledge of his power.

"I did not expect you to assist Eastern Emperor Taiyi, too," the Fire Dragon King said, his eyes filled with wrath as he bellowed angrily.

The enormous roar reverberated through heaven and earth, but there was no response from within the Purple Cloud Palace. The Fire Dragon King reached the palace gate and peered inside, only to find it completely deserted, not a soul in sight.

Laughing loudly, he declared, "You won’t show yourself, and just with the Purple Cloud Palace you think you can block my path? Watch as I burn down your shabby palace with one breath of fire."

Flas roared out of his massive maw, and with his natural mastery of the Fire Rule, he could wield all the flas of the world. In an instant, the Purple Cloud Palace was engulfed in a sea of fire.

Thick Purple Qi gushed out, sweeping away the unstoppable flas in an instant, causing them to vanish and the entire Purple Cloud Palace to tremble.

At this mont, Lu Yu, who was dumbfounded by the apocalyptic scene unfolding before the eyes of the mortals on earth, felt his Soul shake, his Primordial Spirit involuntarily ascending to the Nine Heavens, witnessing the ferocious Fire Dragon King and the Purple Cloud Palace enveloped in Purple Qi.

He felt as if his Primordial Spirit had lost control and could only watch helplessly as he stepped into the Purple Cloud Palace.
