624: Chapter 500: Heavenly Dao Acknowledges and Bestows rit 624: Chapter 500: Heavenly Dao Acknowledges and Bestows rit Wang Yang had his reasons for insisting they remain here.

The first was because they had all suffered injuries, and although the Demon Race Sages in the Three Realms had been eradicated, no one could guarantee that there wouldn’t be any accidents.

Secondly, Wang Yang wanted to keep these veteran Quasi-Saints like the Phoenix to inquire if they knew any thods of achieving Saintliness.

Wang Yang had already reached the pinnacle of Quasi-Saint status and even Daoist Ancestor Hongjun was willing to carve out a special realm just for Wang Yang’s Daoist cultivation, the realm of Great Perfection Quasi-Saint.

Naturally, Wang Yang’s next goal was to attain Saintliness, to join Daoist Ancestor Hongjun and others beyond the heavens, shoulder to shoulder in battle against the invasion of the Void Demon Clan.

However, Wang Yang genuinely had no idea how to beco a Saint.

As the incarnations of Sect Hierarchs like Leader of the Tongtian Sect had already left, and it wasn’t easy for Wang Yang to contact them in a short period of ti, he simply thought of getting so inspiration from these veteran Quasi-Saints.

Moreover, after the battle in the Mara Mountain Range, nearly everyone was wounded.

In the current state of the Three Realms, there was no better place than Golden Turtle Island for healing one’s injuries.

Under such circumstances, many Quasi-Saints naturally stayed behind, thinking to first heal their wounds before discussing departure.

“Saintliness, transcending to sanctity, but where is the path?”

Wang Yang sat alone in a Traveling Palace on Golden Turtle Island, on a ditation cushion, contemplating the road to Saintliness.

For others to beco Saints, they first had to sever their Three Corpses; ultimately, the Heavenly Dao would bestow upon them the Saint Fruit Position, allowing them to attest to the Saint Realm.

Alternatively, they could choose a Great Dao, transform their body into the Dao, and eventually unite with heaven and earth, which also constituted a form of

an alternative kind of Saint.

There were also those like Empress Nuwa, who, inheriting the Heavenly Dao’s fate, created the Human Race, and was directly conferred boundless rit by the Heavenly Dao, thus achieving Saintliness through rit.

As for the legendary Saintliness achieved through the body, using strength to demonstrate sanctity, it seed none had yet appeared.

In the beginning of the Primordial Era, the Divine Demon Pangu had the best chance of attaining saintliness through strength, only Great God Pangu had exhausted his life force after the Creation of Heaven and Earth.

And now to Wang Yang, it seed he had lost direction.

If he were to follow Daoist Ancestor Hongjun’s thod of infusing the Great Dao into several parts of himself, eventually, among the Heavenly Dao’s forty-nine paths, Daoist Ancestor Hongjun fused forty-two to attain the Saint Fruit Position.

This was also considered the first Saint in the history of the Three Realms to attain Dao.

Wang Yang also wanted to use this thod; in fact, that was what he had been doing.

But the key issue was that Wang Yang had already rged fifty Great Daos, even the one evading within the Heavenly Dao, the Creation Dao, had been thoroughly understood by him, yet there was still no path to sainthood laid out before him.

This left him truly clueless.

Pondering by the bedside, he ended up without any solution.

This doubtless beca Wang Yang’s biggest tornt.

Forcing himself not to think about the ans to Saintliness any longer, he only looked at the current state of the Three Realms, which was left in quite a ss.

After so consideration, Wang Yang still sent a telepathic ssage calling for Xuanzang and the others to co over.

Before long, Xuanzang, Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie, and Guanyin, the four Quasi-Saints, appeared in Wang Yang’s Traveling Palace and greeted him respectfully.

“Xuanzang, I summoned you here today to ask you four to make a trip to the Underworld,”

“During the Demon Clan’s invasion, many yin souls were infiltrated by Demonic Qi.

Now, lingering outside Fengdu City, they cannot enter, and it has brewed a great disaster,”

“Moreover, the Six Paths of Reincarnation were also closed down.

If this continues, the Three Realms will descend into major chaos.”

“You four are guarded by Buddhist Law.

Purging the Demonic Qi from the yin souls will facilitate the reopening of the Six Paths of Reincarnation and allow them to enter the cycle of reincarnation sooner,”

Wang Yang told the four of them.

“We will observe the Order of Law!”

Xuanzang, Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie, and Guanyin all agreed in unison.

After paying respects to Wang Yang, Xuanzang, Sun Wukong, and Guanyin the four departed together.

After dispatching Xuanzang and the others to the Underworld, Wang Yang called the Phoenix and Houtu to his Traveling Palace.

To Wang Yang, they were all considered old friends, so there were no restraints between them.

Wang Yang invited them to take a seat, himself rising from the ditation cushion to sit on a chair.

“How have your injuries been healing over this period of ti?” Wang Yang asked them.

“I have fully recovered and there are no more problems with my body,” Houtu replied first.

The Phoenix also nodded in agreent.

“I invited you two here today because there are so matters I’d like to ask you both about,” Wang Yang said straightforwardly.

“Daoist Wang Yang, please ask freely, and we will spare no detail in what we know!”

“Please instruct us, Daoist Wang Yang!”

Both of them spoke thusly.

With Wang Yang’s influence in the Three Realms so significant, was there any Quasi-Saint that did not respect him?

Let alone asking a question, even if these Quasi-Saints were asked from morning till night, none would feel annoyed.

For those who had just broken through to Quasi-Saint status, being asked a question by Wang Yang was an imnse honor.

“Both of you, having broken through to Quasi-Saint during the Primordial Era, do you know how one might achieve Saintliness in the current Three Realms?”

Wang Yang didn’t beat around the bush since his aspiration for Saintliness was sothing that absolutely couldn’t be concealed in the Three Realms.

The two of them were startled upon hearing this and then considered the matter carefully, how one could achieve Saintliness.

However, it was the Phoenix who spoke first, looking at Wang Yang, the Phoenix said sowhat embarrassedly, “I’ve always been on the Southern Immortal Volcano, and as a mber of the Divine Beast clan, I simply have to keep cultivating to make continuous progress.”

“As for the matter of achieving Saintliness, I’m afraid I know nothing.”

This response left Wang Yang rather helpless; it was inevitable considering that this veteran Quasi-Saint was soone who had been in seclusion for years.
