Even before drawing near, one could already see countless garans surrounded by the Eight-Petalled Celestial Dragons.
Amidst them, there seed to hint at a Great Buddha towering between heaven and earth, with countless auspicious signs radiating for billions of miles, golden lotuses blanketing the sky, casting billions of golden rays, and three thousand Buddha lands faintly visible.
Under Arhat’s guidance, Taibai Jinxing, after pushing on forcefully, soon arrived outside the Great Thunderclap Monastery.
“Your humble monk will go in first to report; Star Lord, please wait outside for a mont!”
The Arhat who had brought Taibai Jinxing here spoke respectfully and courteously.
“Thank you, Arhat!”
Taibai Jinxing responded politely.
The Arhat then entered.
Although in principle, Sakyamuni Tathagata shouldn’t easily overlook the ssage about the Calamity of asurent for the Journey to the West he brought, but since Sakyamuni Tathagata was preaching at the ti, it was not easy to say.
Having no choice, since he had received the Emperor’s decree, he waited!
Taibai Jinxing turned his head and began to wait outside.
A mont later, the Arhat returned.
“Star Lord, our Buddha has paused his preaching, please co in and see him!”
Hearing the Arhat’s words, Taibai Jinxing couldn’t help feeling delighted, nodding and saying, “Thank you!”
He then followed the Arhat into the Great Thunderclap Monastery.
Inside the Great Thunderclap Monastery, Sakyamuni Tathagata sat serenely on the Lotus Platform.
Radiating billions of precious lights, his aura shone for tens of thousands of miles, illuminating all the heavens, with golden lotuses blooming beneath him, his holy appearance majestic and towering.
Beneath him were Manjushri Samantabhadra, Guanyin, Lingji, the Four Great Bodhisattvas standing by, Eighteen Arhats in ditative sitting, three thousand Buddhas chanting Buddhist sounds, with millions of Shami respectfully surrounding them.
As Taibai Jinxing entered, Manjushri Samantabhadra and other Bodhisattvas couldn’t help but look over.
“I pay my respects to Sakyamuni Tathagata!”
Being watched by so many great beings of Mount ru, even Taibai Jinxing couldn’t help feeling sowhat nervous, and he hurriedly bowed respectfully.
“What brings Star Lord Taibai this ti?”
Sakyamuni Tathagata slightly narrowed his eyes and spoke slowly.
“To report to the Buddha Ancestor, this humble immortal cos by the command of the Jade Emperor to inform you all that Sun Wukong has now been subdued and has destroyed the Peach Garden within our Celestial Court, disrupted the Peach Banquet, and even intruded into the Helt Armor Palace.
He has now descended to the lower realm!”
“And the Jade Emperor has already dispatched people to the lower realm to capture the demon monkey!”
“The purpose of this visit is to notify all the Bodhisattvas to prepare, for the Calamity of asurent for the Journey to the West is about to begin!”
Taibai Jinxing spoke respectfully, explaining the situation in detail.
At these words, the previously calm Great Thunderclap Monastery was disturbed as if a stone had been dropped onto a still lake, affecting countless Bodhisattvas, Arhats, and Buddhas within.
The words of Taibai Jinxing confird one thing.
The Calamity of asurent for the Journey to the West had finally begun.
The event that the Buddhist community had planned for so many years was finally about to succeed.
The Jade Emperor had already dispatched people to capture Sun Wukong, and it would presumably not take long to apprehend him.
Afterward, it was up to them, the Buddhist community, to provide the final conclusion for Sun Wukong.
Given Sun Wukong’s disposition, he would naturally know what to do by then.
“Amitabha, the grand rise of Buddhism is imminent!”
Sakyamuni Tathagata chanted the Buddha’s na on the Lotus Platform, his body radiating boundless Buddha’s light, as if bestowing a sacred aura over the entire Great Thunderclap Monastery.
“Golden Cicada, how is your current reincarnation progressing?”
The Tathagata turned to Guanyin and inquired.
“Currently, the Golden Cicada has perfectly undergone five lifetis.
After another five lifetis, when the Calamity of asurent for the Journey to the West reaches completion, he should attain the Buddhahood.”
Concerning the Golden Cicada entering the ordeal, many Buddhas felt great envy.
Although they could not obtain such an opportunity as the Golden Cicada,
With the great rise of the Western Buddhist Sect, the Heavenly Dao would surely bestow rit, and by then, these Buddhas would also receive many benefits.
As for the karma and slaughter produced by the ordeal, that would have no concern for them.
“Amitabha, now that the Calamity of asurent for the Journey to the West is about to begin, we should return to our dojo and make so arrangents!”
Knowing that the Calamity of asurent for the Journey to the West was about to comnce, Manjushri Samantabhadra and other Bodhisattvas spoke one after another.
The Calamity was not their ordeal to endure, but their disciples, the Green Lion and White Elephant, were part of it.
And Guanyin also had many matters to attend to.
“Very good!”
Seeing Guanyin, Manjushri, and Samantabhadra rise to take their leave, Sakyamuni Tathagata chanted a Buddha’s na.
Following this, there was a succession of voices from Buddhist Bodhisattvas and Arhats announcing their departure.
And, without exception, these departing figures were all involved in the Calamity of asurent for the Journey to the West.
In an instant, a great number of Buddhas and Arhats had left the Great Thunderclap Monastery.
Seeing so many Buddhist powers departing, Taibai Jinxing was not surprised.
At this mont, he cleared his throat, preparing to address Tathagata Buddha to discuss the losses suffered by the celestial Court this ti.
However, before Taibai Jinxing could speak, he caught the astonished gaze of Sakyamuni Tathagata looking his way.
“I wonder if Star Lord has any other matters?”
Sakyamuni Tathagata inquired.
But without waiting for Taibai Jinxing to answer, he heard Sakyamuni Tathagata continue to speak, “If Star Lord has no other business, I, the poor monk, will not keep you.
The Calamity of asurent for the Journey to the West is about to start, and there are still many matters Buddhism must attend to.
I cannot afford to stay here any longer!”
After saying this, Sakyamuni Tathagata finished speaking, his body shining with Buddha’s light, and in the next mont, he vanished from the Great Thunderclap Monastery.
Not only that but so of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas who had been originally preaching at the Thunder Sound Temple also departed.
The vast Great Thunderclap Monastery was now left with only Taibai Jinxing.
To be more precise, behind Taibai Jinxing was still that Arhat who had led him inside.
At this mont, this Arhat wore a smile on his face as he looked at Taibai Jinxing.
“Does Star Lord have any other matters?”
The Arhat slowly asked.
Now that the Tathagata was gone, what could Taibai Jinxing possibly say?
These people of Buddhism, truly disciples of Zhunti and Jieyin, are all so shaless.
If Buddhism acts this way, it inevitably seems like they are shirking responsibility.
Otherwise, why would all the figures of Buddhism run away?
Taibai Jinxing also felt sowhat helpless.
However, when he was leaving, a shami did present him with Trikaya Divine Water.
With the power of this Divine Water, even the Peach Trees that had been ravaged by Sun Wukong could be revived.
As for anything beyond that, there was truly nothing more.
The two Saints of the West must have understood what had happened here quite well; otherwise, they would not have sent the Trikaya Divine Water as he was leaving.
Of course, one reason the Two Saints acted this way was that after the Ancient Buddha Ran Deng returned from discussing the Dao with the Daoist Ancestor Taiqing and inford them that Sun Wukong had plundered the Helt Armor Palace, they knew everything.
There was no choice; while the Jade Emperor’s dignity might not concern the Two Saints, they could ill afford to offend the Daoist Ancestor Taiqing.
After all, in the current Three Realms, apart from Dao Ancestor Hongjun, the Daoist Ancestor Taiqing is now the undisputed First Sage.
Therefore, the Two Saints really went out of their way this ti, mobilizing all the treasures that Buddhism could use to compensate the Daoist Ancestor Taiqing.

The daily consumption of heaven and earth treasures for cultivation is innurable.

Certainly, if the Two Sages of the West genuinely wished to compensate, Buddhism could afford it, but the Two Sages simply did not wish to do so.
Previously, they had always been the ones to plunder heaven and earth treasures from others; it was unheard of for others to take such treasures from them.
Of course, the Jade Emperor had long planned for this; sending Taibai Jinxing to the Western Pure Land was mostly to remind the Two Saints of the West.
The celestial Court had suffered so greatly to assist the Western Heaven with this Calamity of asurent, and thus, the West now owed a karmic debt to the celestial Court.
As for compensation…
The Jade Emperor did not care about it now; the debt of karma was what mattered more.
That was the main reason the Jade Emperor agreed to cooperate with the West.
As long as the Two Saints of the West owed the Jade Emperor this karma, if he required their help in the future, it would be difficult for them to refuse.
At a low cultivation level, one might not care about karma, but as one’s cultivation grows higher, the word “karma” becos increasingly significant.
Otherwise, one will only end up with cloudy thoughts, at best stagnating in cultivation or, at worst, being invaded by Heavenly Demons.
As for the calculations between the Two Saints and the Jade Emperor, Taibai Jinxing had no idea.
However, this ti he did indeed receive sothing for his troubles.
Although it was only Trikaya Divine Water, it was still better than nothing.
Nevertheless, after this incident, Taibai Jinxing’s belief that participating in the Calamity of asurent for the Journey to the West was just asking for trouble deepened.
In the future, it would be wiser to participate less.
At this mont, above the celestial Court, Pagoda-Carrying celestial King Li Jing left the Ninth celestial Palace, mustered a hundred thousand celestial Soldiers and Generals and then summoned the two divisions of thunder and fire, accompanied by nurous Star Lords.
Afterward, he dispatched Great God of the Three Altars of the Sea Nezha, the Twenty-Eight Constellations, the Four Great Marshals, as well as Star Lords like Tan Lang, to leave the Southern Heaven Gate in a mighty procession.
Once they passed the Southern Heaven Gate, the multitude of celestial Soldiers spread out, the clouds covered the skies, and the battle drums echoed like rolling thunder through heaven and earth, as they made their way toward Mount Huaguo.
