The Wood God felt a bit nervous, but still forced himself to remain calm. He smiled and said, "Your Majesty, I suddenly rember there are so tasks I haven’t completed, I must hurry to do them. I’ll take my leave first."

After speaking, he suddenly sprang up, rushing towards the doors of the Dark Hall.

At that mont, a mana barrier appeared, blocking the Wood God.

"What does Your Majesty an by this?"

The Wood God turned, his face sowhat ugly, shouting loudly.

Tian Hao rely smiled lightly and said, "Haven’t you already guessed it? When the cunning rabbit dies, the hunting dog is cooked; when the birds are gone, the good bow is hidden. I just want to burn bridges after crossing."

The Wood God: "..."

To say such shaless words with such righteousness, Tian Hao was indeed the first.

The Wood God realized that he had thought himself quite shaless, but Tian Hao was even more.

"Your Majesty, I have been loyal to you!"

The Wood God showed an expression of grief and indignation.

Tian Hao didn’t believe him at all; he smiled lightly and said, "I know. But since you’re so loyal to , I believe you would also be willing to die for . It’s best not to resist, it’ll be over soon."

The Wood God: "..."

Tian Hao smiled broadly, fully relaxed at this mont, believing the Wood God to be nothing but at on his chopping board, to be handled at his will.

"Destiny is like strength; since it cannot be resisted, one must learn to enjoy and accept one’s fate."

Tian Hao guided gently, hoping the Wood God would accept his fate.

Of course, even if he didn’t accept, it didn’t matter; Tian Hao would force him to accept.

Having obtained the Soul-Shaping Grass, Tian Hao was in excellent spirits and didn’t mind letting the Wood God live a little longer.

The Wood God’s face turned cold, finally ceasing the pretense.

Glaring coldly at Tian Hao, the Wood God said, "Tian Hao, from the beginning you never intended to spare ; you just wanted to kill . Don’t think I couldn’t see it."

"Smart."

Tian Hao praised him.

The Wood God took a deep breath, seeing the opponent’s careless deanor, fully assured, and was driven to the point of wanting to swallow Tian Hao whole.

If he hadn’t known he was no match for Tian Hao, he would have acted.

The Wood God’s eyes burned as he glared at Tian Hao, sneering, "Tian Hao, don’t forget, this is the Three Realms. If I fight to the death, you might not easily capture . At that point, the entire Dark Hall could be destroyed, and once your presence is exposed in the Three Realms, do you think you can escape?"

Last ti, caught off guard and unwilling to risk himself, he was subdued by Tian Hao.

This ti was different. With Tian Hao wanting to kill him, Wood God had no choice but to fight.

Tian Hao, however, seed untroubled, his gaze fell on the Dark Hall, and he sighed.

After a mont, he spoke: "You know this place is the Dark Hall. Try breaking it? I’ve forged it through countless ages. From the outside, it might seem easy to breach, but inside, even with two Heavenly Emperors fighting, it can withstand for over an hour. Do you think yourself the equal of a Heavenly Emperor? Or capable of enduring over an hour under my hand?"

The Wood God’s whole body trembled.

Such a confined space, hoping to hold out for over an hour against Tian Hao was absolutely impossible.

No more than an hour, Tian Hao would kill him.

After all, he wasn’t like Sun Wukong with an Immortal Body, and without enough space, it was difficult to fend off Tian Hao.

Here, he could only clash head-on with Tian Hao.

Thinking of this, the Wood God’s face turned ashen to the extre.

He knew this ti he was truly in danger.

The Wood God had no intention of pleading; the opponent was resolved, and no amount of begging would make him relent.

So, the Wood God enhanced his mana. To survive now, he had to fight desperately.

Tian Hao tilted his head, eyeing the Wood God, then suddenly grinned.

"Going all out, are you? Heh, interesting. Make your move."

Tian Hao acted at leisure, completely indifferent.

After all, he was certain he had the Wood God cornered, believing he could not escape from his hand.

The Wood God felt nervous but still took the initiative to attack.

The longer he delayed, the more unfavorable the situation beca for him.

However, he didn’t attack Tian Hao directly but aid at the mana barrier.

Defeating Tian Hao was naturally impossible.

Since it couldn’t be done, he set breaking the Dark Hall as his goal.

Tian Hao saw through the Wood God’s plan, smiled lightly without worry.

Seeing that Tian Hao didn’t stop him, the Wood God continued his assault.

The entire Dark Hall trembled, but it remained difficult to truly break.

Had he been a true Heavenly Emperor, breaking out would have been simple.

Unfortunately, the Wood God wasn’t at that level of strength.

With his ability, breaking the Dark Hall was a challenge.

Even given an hour, it wouldn’t be easy to accomplish.

The Wood God felt a bit of despair; after several attempts, he understood: it wasn’t that the opponent didn’t stop him, but that Tian Hao was confident he couldn’t break the barrier here.

"Submit and die quietly; this way you can suffer less pain."

Tian Hao’s voice was surprisingly gentle.

Yet, his words made the Wood God feel a bone-chilling coldness.

The Wood God’s heart went icy, he stared at Tian Hao, his face somber, yet unwilling to give up.

Tian Hao shook his head, sighing: "Unappreciative. Since you refuse to die peacefully, don’t bla for causing you pain before you die."

Cold light flashed in Tian Hao’s eyes, ready to act.

Terrifying killing intent enveloped the Wood God, causing his heart to despair.

He sighed inwardly, feeling his end had co.

Having road all his life, surviving from the Primordial tis till now, even those among the top ten strongest of the Primordial couldn’t defeat him, yet today he was dood to fall.
