Zephyr stepped into the portal—and was hit by a wall of cold so absolute, it felt as though ti itself had frozen.

The air was still. The ground beneath his feet crunched with a layer of frosted bones, and ancient ice pillars lood in every direction, each encasing a figure—so human, so monstrous, all lifeless. Overhead, the sky was black, with stars unmoving.

[SYSTEM ALERT]

Zephyr exhaled, watching his breath crystallize in the air.

This place felt wrong. Not just cold—but lifeless, like even ti feared to pass here.

The Frozen Labyrinth

Moving carefully, Zephyr passed through corridors of ice, where souls flickered within frozen tombs. The silence pressed on him.

Then, a whisper.

"Zephyr Thorn..."

He turned—behind him, a frozen visage of Seraphina, trapped in the ice, eyes moving, silently pleading.

Zephyr reached out.

CRACK.

The ice split open—and a wraith lunged from within, its form a twisted echo of Seraphina.

Zephyr barely dodged as the creature’s claws scraped his shoulder.

[SYSTEM ALERT: Soul Wraith Detected. Weakness: Fire.]

Zephyr slashed with Soulreaver Fang, igniting it with cursed fla. The wraith shrieked and disintegrated.

More whispering.

All around him, frozen versions of his allies appeared in the walls—so real, so traps.

He clenched his jaw. "I’ve had enough of mind gas."

The Lich Appears

Ahead lay a vast cathedral of ice, its ceiling lost in shadow. At its center sat a throne of bone, upon which rested Iskarieth.

A towering figure wrapped in tattered black robes, eyes burning blue, and a crown of bone fused to his skull.

In one hand, a staff topped with a soul crystal, pulsing with stolen life.

"Zephyr Thorn... the cursed wanderer. You tread upon the land of death."

Iskarieth rose, and phantom souls wailed around him.

"Give your soul. Spare yourself."

Zephyr’s grip tightened on his blades. "Not today, corpse."

Battle Conditions:

Iskarieth raised his staff—ghostly warriors erged from the ice.

Zephyr dashed into battle, struggling against the slowed terrain. Each strike felt heavy, and every mont drained his strength.

He realized the source—the Soul Crystal in Iskarieth’s staff.

Dodging a spectral strike, Zephyr leapt, activating Webstep, bypassing the icy floor, and landed atop the lich’s throne.

[Critical Strike: Soul Crystal Fractured]

A scream shattered the silence—the souls around them spiraled into chaos.

Iskarieth roared, his skeletal face twisting in rage. He unleashed a storm of frost, hurling Zephyr backward.

Bloodied but resolute, Zephyr stood, calling upon his bonds.

[Bond Echo: Zahra – Fla of Purification Activated]

His sword blazed with holy fire.

He charged, cut through Iskarieth’s summoned dead, and struck the lich down with a blazing arc.

The lich’s body shattered into shards of ice and bone.

Silence returned.

[SYSTEM ALERT: Iskarieth Defeated.]

Ahead, a portal opened—this ti black and gold, swirling with ominous power.

The next warlord would not be a demon—but a god.

The Fallen Titan of Light, betrayed and cursed.

Zephyr stepped forward, sword in hand.

Two more warlords to go.

And then... the final truth.

Zephyr stepped through the portal—and was t by blinding golden light.

But it wasn’t warm.

It burned.

He shielded his eyes as the searing glow faded, revealing a vast, ruined landscape. Massive pillars of light jutted from the ground like broken swords. In the distance, a colossal skeleton of a giant lay half-buried in crystal sand, its once-majestic armor now rusted and fused to its bones.

Above, the sky roiled with ashen clouds, through which a massive, glowing eye occasionally opened, watching.

Suddenly, the ground split open.

From within rose a giant hand, skeletal and ablaze with golden fire.

A voice bood across the realm, echoing through the sky.

"Zephyr Thorn. Bearer of forbidden power. Judge yourself... or be judged."

The massive figure erged fully—Thalorion, once a god of light and justice, now a twisted echo of his forr self. His wings were tattered, his armor broken, and from his hollow eyes shone the terrible light of divine madness.

[System Skill: Hunger Reversal Activated] — each strike sapped energy from Thalorion, barely slowing him.

The titan unleashed his Judgent Gaze—a beam of pure light.

Zephyr was struck—frozen, his mind assaulted by visions of guilt and failure.

But then—a bond flared.

[Bond Echo: Seraphina – Fla of Clarity Activated.]

The paralysis shattered. Zephyr roared, leapt into the air, and drove both swords into Thalorion’s chest.

Cracks ford along the titan’s body.

The god scread—but reached for Zephyr with a burning hand.

"I was justice... I was light... why did they abandon ..."

Zephyr t his gaze.

"Because you forgot what it ant to protect."

With a final, charged strike, he shattered Thalorion’s core, unleashing a shockwave that leveled the battlefield.

Thalorion’s form crumbled to dust.

In his place, a single golden sigil floated.
