As Tang Yin, now in the guise of Li Caoheng, walked through the Thousand Blossom Pavilion, he received the expected signs of respect from the lower-ranking disciples.
Keeping up the appearance, he acknowledged their greetings with a nod while maintaining his air of authority.
Upon arriving outside the Holy Compound, Tang Yin’s divine sense reached out, probing the protective Array Formation guarding the Holy Compound.
He could sense its intricate design and formidable power, but as Li Caoheng, he had the necessary authority to request entry. He focused his divine sense on making contact with the Array Formation, indicating his desire to communicate with soone inside.
In response, another formidable divine sense intermingled with his own, and a voice questioned, "Li Caoheng, what brings you here?" The speaker’s tone wasn’t submissive but lacked excessive politeness as well. It indicated that they held a position of comparable importance to Li Caoheng.
"I’ve co to deliver a letter to the attendants of the Holy Daughters Xu Yun and Xin Shuang." Tang Yin, posing as Li Caoheng, replied truthfully.
"Is that the case? Very well, hand the letters to . I’ll ensure that Holy Daughters Xu Yun and Xin Shuang’s attendants receive them. However, whether they choose to et with you is at their discretion." Ca the response from within the Array Formation, sounding agreeable.
After all, his role was to deliver letters to the attendants of the Holy Sons and Daughters from disciples seeking etings. While he wasn’t a mber of the Holy Compound itself, he stood on par with the ordinary Senior Disciples within the Core Compound.
Essentially, he functioned as a receptionist for the Holy Compound.
With a brief word of gratitude, Tang Yin retrieved two small letters from his storage ring and projected them into the Array Formation using his divine sense.
"The letters will disintegrate upon being opened. Your swift action is appreciated." Tang Yin emphasized, ensuring that the gatekeeper understood the urgency.
If the gatekeeper attempted to inspect the contents of the letters, they would simply disappear, leaving him without an explanation.
If Li Caoheng were to uncover this situation and file a complaint with the Thousand Blossom Pavilion, he might face disciplinary asures for his actions.
With a dismissive snort, the receptionist’s divine sense withdrew and retreated back into the confines of the Holy Compound.
Tang Yin patiently waited outside the Holy Compound. After approximately 10 minutes, the receptionist returned and inford him, "The Holy Daughters Xin Shuang and Xu Yun have agreed to et you. You can choose which one to visit first." His voice held a note of surprise.
Holy Daughter Xin Shuang agreeing to et Li Caoheng wasn’t particularly unusual, as they had crossed paths a few tis in the past.
However, Xu Yun’s response was surprising. Li Caoheng and Holy Daughter Xu Yun had never t before, and considering her personality, she typically declined eting requests, regardless of the requester’s identity.
Hence, the receptionist found it quite remarkable that Xu Yun had agreed to et Li Caoheng. Although it was unexpected, it wasn’t entirely unheard of, as there had been a few instances where she had agreed to et certain disciples before.
Tang Yin couldn’t help but smirk, fully aware of the thods he had executed to secure etings with both Holy Daughters.
For Xin Shuang, Tang Yin had employed a secret code that she and Li Caoheng had developed in the past to communicate discreetly. Recognizing the code and the fact that the request was coming from Li Caoheng, she readily agreed to the eting.
Regarding Xu Yun, Tang Yin had capitalized on the fact that she held feelings for his alternate identity, Demonic Asura. He had included a reference in the letter that only Xu Yun would understand and recall, a phrase he had used during his mission to escort her to the Thousand Blossom Pavilion.
Cultivators possessed an eidetic mory. Despite Xu Yun not being the most powerful cultivator, she still possessed peak Mortal Step cultivation and an eidetic mory.
The receptionist opened the Array Formation for Tang Yin to enter, and once he did, the Array Formation was promptly closed behind him.
Upon entering the Holy Compound, Tang Yin decided to et Xin Shuang first. He had already formulated what he would say to her and had a plan in mind on how to approach the situation.
The Holy Compound had even fewer Holy Sons and Daughters compared to the Senior Disciples in the Core Compound.
Tang Yin didn’t encounter a single Holy Son or Daughter during his brief journey to Xin Shaung’s residence. It seed that they were either diligently cultivating in their residences or were occupied with their own tasks outside.
It did not matter, Tang Yin did not care anyway.
As he reached Xin Shaung’s opulent palace, which was even grander than Li Caoheng’s, Tang Yin extended his divine sense into the palace.
"Li Caoheng, is that you? Didn’t I tell you not to co too often? What if those old folks get suspicious?" A charming and lodious voice echoed in Tang Yin’s thoughts, carrying the aura of an ethereal fairy.
"Don’t worry, I’ve already taken care of everything. No one will suspect a thing." Tang Yin assured Xin Shaung with fabricated confidence using his divine sense.
"Alright, I trust you. Co inside quickly." Xin Shaung’s voice sounded eager, as if they had been separated for a long ti and were now finally reuniting.
With a confident smirk, Tang Yin entered the residence, carrying himself with Li Caoheng’s trademark grace and adding to his already handso appearance.
After navigating through a few corridors inside Xin Shaung’s palace, Tang Yin finally reached the main hall where Xin Shaung was waiting.
As he moved through the residence, Tang Yin couldn’t help but notice the nurous Array Formations set up throughout the place. It was clear that Xin Shaung was quite cautious and vigilant. However, this heightened level of security actually worked to Tang Yin’s advantage, as it provided him with more opportunities to carry out his plan without arousing suspicion
"It feels like it’s been ages!" Xin Shaung exclaid as soon as the doors to the main hall closed behind them. Without hesitation, she rushed into Tang Yin’s embrace, displaying a familiarity that made it seem like they hadn’t seen each other in a very long ti.
Tang Yin welcod her embrace, reciprocating the gesture until she eventually released him.
"Shaung’er, look at my eyes." Tang Yin stated calmly.
With a puzzled expression, Xin Shaung raised her head to et Tang Yin’s gaze. His eyes glowed with a srizing blend of golden and blue, resembling the swirling of the sun and moon within their depths.
Xin Shaung’s eyes imdiately dulled, and her head dropped, hanging over her shoulders.
Given Tang Yin’s Mid-stage Principle Manipulation Realm soul, suppressing Xin Shaung’s Mid-stage Principle Comprehension Realm soul was an effortless feat.
Once Xin Shaung was ensnared by the Sun-Moon Great Illusion Art, Tang Yin promptly rested his hand on her head and utilized Soul Plunder. In an instant, her mories flowed into his mind.
"Interesting." Tang Yin muttered under his breath.
Tang Yin discovered that Xin Shaung and Qiu Yinzi were close childhood friends who had been companions since their youth.
"This just makes things much simpler." Tang Yin thought as he maintained his grip on her head even after using Soul Plunder.
He proceeded to extend his divine sense into Xin Shaung’s soul, ticulously crafting an intricate symbol within it.
It was the Heaven Binding Seal.
The symbol he etched into her soul emitted a powerful aura with each stroke, and as the intricate design was completed, the Heaven Binding Seal took effect.
Having placed the Heaven Binding Seal in her soul, Tang Yin released Xin Shaung from the Sun-Moon Great Illusion Art, bringing her back to reality.
With a bitter tone, Xin Shaung asked, "Who are you?" She had already grasped the situation as soon as she erged from the illusion.
Filled with despair, she let out a forlorn sigh and asked for her new Master’s na, realizing that she could no longer resist and was now under Tang Yin’s control.
"I am Tang Yin. Since you’re friends with Qiu Yinzi, I need you to bring her here. Also, invite any other Holy Sons and Daughters you know. However, only do so if they are currently in the Holy Compound, don’t summon those who are outside."
"anwhile, I have to et an old friend." Tang Yin introduced himself and provided Xin Shaung with a set of specific instructions.
"Yes, Master." Xin Shaung replied, complying with Tang Yin’s command as she knelt down.
Surprisingly, from the Heaven Binding Seal within Xin Shaung, Tang Yin could sense that she had no rebellious thoughts, which was unexpected.
However, he was well aware that Xin Shaung knew when to advance and when to retreat. She recognized the futility of trying to escape the grip of the Heaven Binding Seal, given its imnse power. Consequently, she accepted her fate and chose to obey Tang Yin, hoping to avoid the dire consequences of rebellion, which was obviously death.
"Good. Keep in mind that I have insight into everything through the Heaven Binding Seal. I can also end your life at will, so don’t attempt any tricks." Tang Yin warned Xin Shaung, using a domineering threat to frighten the poor lass.
"I wouldn’t dare." Xin Shaung replied, her voice quivering with fear and a sense of despair, her emotions nearly pushing her to tears.
"I’ll be back soon," Tang Yin assured her before leaving the main hall, making his way out of the palace, towards Xu Yun’s residence.
