’Explode! Explode!! Explode!!!’ Tang Yin’s thoughts rampaged throughout his mind in a frenzy.
With endless madness brimming within himself, Tang Yin unleashed a huge gust of Abyss Qi and Soul Energy to enter the blood mist.

Before the blood mist could even take any sort of form, it abruptly burst apart into dust. As for Tang Yin’s body which was behind the blood mist, it was shot away into the distance, leaving a trail of blood and gore in its wake.
This was the sole power of the Abyss Dragon’s roar!
Just the re power of the Abyss Dragon’s roar was able to render Tang Yin’s resistance futile and fling him a hundred kilotres away whilst having his body breakdown bloodily.
This was the power of an existence that was half a step into Rank 9!
Although Tang Yin’s body was rapidly breaking down, and he could feel his life slipping away from him, he let out an internal sigh of relief.
The Abyss Dragon’s roar had injured him to the brink of death, but it had also shoved him a hundred kilotres away.
Due to the Abyss Dragon being occupied with Tian Huang’s one-ti full-powered attack, Tang Yin was able to buy himself enough ti to ascend by 100 kilotres. If the Abyss Dragon’s roar which had shoved him away by another 100 kilotres was included, then Tang Yin had ascended by 200 kilotres in total.
He was now past the entrance of the Abyss Layer and within the Depth Layer!
According to the agreent made by the Twin Snake Clan and the Abyss Dragon, the Abyss Dragon was not allowed to enter or touch anything outside of the Abyss Layer. This ant that Tang Yin was safe.
ROARRRR!
Tang Yin’s head rang as if a million thunderclaps had just rung out. The Abyss Dragon had roared again!
However, this ti, there was no power behind the Abyss Dragon’s roar. After all, it could not harm anything outside of the Abyss Layer. Instead, Tang Yin could feel the frustration and agitation in its roar.
Slowly, the sense of life-and-death danger and anxiety Tang Yin felt within himself faded... ’The Abyss Dragon retreated, but why? Wasn’t it trying to kill ? Is the agreent with the Twin Snake Clan restricting it from killing ?’
Nurous questions shot up into Tang Yin’s mind. However, he couldn’t think properly at the mont. Let alone the reverberating Abyss Dragon’s roar still ongoing within his head, he felt a separate head-splitting pain within his soul.
’My Soul Energy reserves have gone dry.’ Tang Yin quickly used his divine sense to enter his storage ring and retrieved a couple of drops of Myriad Spirit Milk.
Tang Yin instantly swallowed the Myriad Spirit Milk after taking it out of his storage ring. Within a few monts, he could feel his reserves of Soul Energy starting to shoot back up.
Whilst Tang Yin’s Soul Energy reserves shot back up, his body was also rapidly healing. As soon as he had severed his 4 limbs, Passive Regeneration had been reactivated.
Unfortunately, due to the Abyss Dragon’s roar, all of the healing and regeneration were laid to waste. Now, Tang Yin had to heal again.
Tang Yin could feel huge chunks of his Abyss Qi being drained. However, his bones and flesh were rapidly regenerating.
Since he had lost all of his limbs and was on the brink of death, Tang Yin took a few minutes to completely heal all of his injuries.
After returning to his peak, Tang Yin had consud over half of his Abyss Qi reserves. He would need to refill them later...
But Tang Yin had already confird that the Abyss Dragon had retreated and had no intention of coming after him unless he entered the Abyss Layer once again.
Even though he knew this, Tang Yin had no intentions of lingering around in the Hectic Chasm Holy Land. Although the Abyss Dragon decided not to chase him, it might change its mind later. If that happened, death was almost certain since he did not have any more of Tian Huang’s power left.
Tang Yin had not stopped at all. Once he was flung away by the Abyss Dragon’s roar, he used the montum of that launch to propel himself even higher despite his life-and-death injuries.
As he ascended higher and higher, Tang Yin left a stream of blood and mangled pieces of flesh in his path. But he did not care, he had to leave the Hectic Chasm Holy Land as quickly as he could.
Tang Yin felt his body beco much lighter the more he ascended. Even as he passed by a few cultivators, they barely perceived his presence due to his insane speed.
The first few cultivators that Tang Yin sped past were quite powerful, they were within the later stages of the Principle Manipulation Realm. However, they didn’t pay much attention to Tang Yin, only providing him with a re glance.
The more cultivators Tang Yin encountered, the weaker they beca.
From Principle Manipulation Realm cultivators, Tang Yin started to et more Principle Comprehension Realm cultivators until he completely stopped speeding past any Principle Manipulation Realm cultivators.
Like this, Tang Yin entered the Subterranean Layer. Within a few minutes, he had already reached the Surface Layer.
Tang Yin was shocked. Since when was the Subterranean Layer so small?
’Maybe I’ve been in the colossal Abyss Layer for too long, my senses must’ve adapted to that large space and anything smaller than that is perceived as even smaller than it should be.’ Tang Yin instantly beca clear about what was happening.
But now that he knew about this, he simply released his divine sense and observed the surroundings. Within a few monts, Tang Yin’s sense of space returned to normal.
By now, Tang Yin had already reached the Surface Layer. All of the cultivators within the Surface Layer were too weak to enter his eyes. Without wasting any ti, he directly ascended to the Hectic Chasm Holy Land’s entrance/exit.
As he reached the surface of the Hectic Chasm Holy Land, Tang Yin felt the bright sun’s rays illuminate his dark-filled figure. The sun’s luminescence was sothing he hadn’t felt in a long ti.
But Tang Yin did not have the heart to reminisce, he had just faced a life-and-death crisis 10 minutes ago.
"Master, how are things now?" Xiao Fei asked with serious concern.
The Abyss Dragon had appeared way too abruptly, Tang Yin did not even have a chance to release Xiao Fei to aid him. It was only after he entered the Subterranean Layer was he able to inform Xiao Fei of what had happened.
Although Xiao Fei only had peak Rank 7 Demonic Beast strength, if she utilised all of her abilities and disregarded her safety, her power could easily boost itself to Mid-tier Rank 8 strength.
However, even this was not enough to face the Abyss Dragon. Xiao Fei would most likely be killed within the Abyss Dragon’s first move.
Therefore, although Xiao Fei pleaded with Tang Yin to let her out of the Abyss Firmant, he firmly refused. There was no imminent danger at the mont, it was better to keep her hidden for now. She would act as his trump card.
After exiting the Hectic Chasm Holy Land, Tang Yin dashed away into the distance, towards the defensive outpost he had entered the Hectic Chasm Holy Land from.
As Tang Yin moved through the wasteland surrounding the Hectic Chasm Holy Land, his eyebrows scrunched up slightly and his eyes narrowed.
’Sothing is off. By now, the defensive outposts surrounding the Hectic Chasm Holy Land should have taken note of my presence. Yet, they haven’t sent anyone.’ As he neared his specific defensive outpost, Tang Yin abruptly halted.
’There is no choice, I won’t be able to leave without going through the defensive outpost’s inspection.’ Tang Yin weighed his options.
He knew that there was no other way to leave the Hectic Chasm Holy Land’s vicinity without going through the inspection of one of the defensive outposts. Perhaps only Law Domain Realm cultivators could bypass this procedure.
With extre caution, Tang Yin continued with his original plan and hurried his journey to the defensive outpost. His divine sense surrounded him at all tis, ready for any sort of situation.
